I called in advance to make a reservation and was seated right when I arrived. It wasn't very busy, but there were a few larger groups. Service was still super attentive and helpful from the beginning to end of our meal. At no point did we feel rushed! We ordered a variety of appetizers including the mussels, fried calamari, and shrimp. Everything was delicious. The best part was probably the red sauce the mussels came it. We kept going back to dip our bread in because it was so tasty! For our meals, I personally ordered the Seafood Diablo. Personally, I didn't find it very spicy, but that's a preference thing. The amount of fish included was crazy! I couldn't finish it all, even though I wanted to. Other guests at my table got lobster and steak and everyone was pleased. Despite feeling so full we just had to get dessert! I personally got the Tartufo and loved it. The crème brûlée and lava cake also looked great, and my table raved about them. Overall I have nothing but positive things to say! The prices are a little expensive, but for the quality and serving sizes I wasn't upset. Delicious food, excellent service, friendly ambiance. Took inlaws out for birthday dinner in January 2025 and had a great time. We had a pitcher of red sangria. For apps we had fried calamari and shrimp in garlic sauce. For dinner, lobster, steak, salmon, and a seafood bowl. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. So I have been contemplating writing a review but I feel like it is necessary for anyone looking to go. Sorry in advance for the long post. My husband is from Spain and when I saw this I thought this could give him a taste of home. I called and asked if the food was authentic and I was assured it was. I am glad I read some of the instructions because the parking was hard to find. It was around a building. Fast forward, it is his 40th birthday and I take him and his friends to this restaurant. There were a few Spanish decorations accompanied by some Italian ones as well. There were not many people in the restaurant which should have been my first clue. We got a sampler platter. It all tasted frozen and there were items on it that were French, not Spanish. The chorizo was also not Spanish chorizo. At that time I was a little disappointed but they had paella options and I was excited about it. Everyone ordered different types of paella. The paella was just ok to say the least and all the seafood didn't taste fresh at all!! Now I was extremely disappointed. I paid a decent amount of money to take him and his friends out and it wasn't what I was expecting and wasn't even that good. I have not been here in about 10 years but my husband and my wedding anniversary falls on Christmas Day and I love Spanish style food so we called and much to our DELIGHT THEY WERE OPEN. The decor then needed an overhaul but the food was Delicious and the service was amazing as was the Sangria. At the time the prices were moderate but that was 10 years ago. First time coming here tonight to celebrate a family member's birthday (party of 4). I thought the food was ok because it didn't really taste like Spain. Seems more like a fusion in their dishes. Service was good and polite. The atmosphere was old with some Spain decor. The one thing was not mentioned to us was the credit card surcharge of 3% when paying with a card. This wasn't listed on their website, menu or by the waiters and waitress. I only found out after they have ran my card. This is by far my favorite place to eat on SI. I have been eating here for over 30 years and have never been disappointed in the food. It's funny that I have watched the waiters grow older and some have now retired. They are all WONDERFUl even when the crowd is heavy on weekends. The favorite items are the lobster especially during lobster feast, filet mignon, paella with lobster or Valencia with sausage and chicken. Drinks are expensive and if you get soda ask for no ice or ice on the side. Coffee and expressos are good but dessert can be hit or miss. If they offered better desserts that were ALWAYS fresh they would be a 5. Why serve tarumisu from a pre packed cup? No have it made fresh like all of the rest of your food. Started with baked clams, they were absolutely disgusting. Soggy and no flavor. We both ordered the filet mignon,cooked medium. Meat had no flavor, not a hint of salt or pepper. Mashed potatoe portion was the size of a golf ball and they were instant potatoes. They had on the plate because I counted 14 peas with a small piece of roasted pepper on top of it. Let me start off with a statement that after 40 years on Staten Island, we are now transplanted Floridians. With being said, when we do travel back North for a visit, the only request from my wife is Real Madrid. From Pepe's warm greeting upon arrival to the delicious Sangria (we like white over red), the delicious dressing on the included salad or the Black Bean soup, you are in for a treat here. While I go for the Lobster Parrillada which has loads of shrimp, clams, mussels, and a big lobster, my wife prefers the Daily Double(2-1 1/2 lb stuffed lobsters). My friend loves the steak and shrimp in ajillo sauce, we all go home stuffed arms satisfied. The deserts come from the outside and are just okay. Unfortunately, I've noticed that the food quality and portion size has dramatically decreased over the years along with increased costs. Today I ordered Paella Valenciana and received 90% rice with some seafood in a shallow pan. I normally go to Costa Verde in South Amboy which is 20 minutes from Staten Island and has much higher quality food with much larger portions and cheaper prices for the exact same thing. Finally, a good reason to go to Staten Island! The decor is a throwback to 1985, but the cuisine is traditional Spanish at it's finest! The shrimp & scallops in green sauce is delicious! Their green sauce is good with everything... even the bread (be sure to save some in order to sop up that sauce!) I only wish I had the recipe for that sauce! I had the veal extremena; veal, chorizo, and peppers cooked in a brown wine sauce. The size of the salad was one that easily could've been split between 2. As far as the main dish, the veal was extremely tender, with pieces of chorizo and peppers in a wonderful brown sauce which was thankfully chopped up with soft, tender rolls. under $25; how can anyone go wrong? I have been going to this restaurant for at least 17 years. You would think that when I came into the restaurant, they would show signs of recognition since I have been going there for so long. There have never been any arguments, and I tried to be friendly and greet the staff. My tips have been good more than 20% most times. Tonight, there were only two other tables, and the waiters were nowhere to be found. Most times, I start out with one waiter, and after that, the waiter is nowere to be found, and I end up with several different ones. Apparently, they were all watching a soccer game. The food is good ,but the service and their attitude need to be improved . As far as I am concerned, I should be greeted as a long-time patron of the restaurant, and the wait staff should be present on the floor at all times. read more

They have a big pick up table right in front. The food was delicious with every bite and made it feel like we brought the restaurant right home with us.
