Our experience with Wild Flowers Design group has been very disappointing. Firstly, our flowers were delivered an hour late on our wedding day in Sacramento, CA. Our delivery person was nowhere near our venue at the agreed delivery time, so our florist had to go to the shop and deliver the flowers herself. I appreciated Brie driving them to us herself. We were especially disappointed because my husband and I had paid for an extra hour of photography in order to get wedding party photos completed before our wedding ceremony. Due to the late delivery, the groomsmen were delayed in getting their photos taken (they were waiting a half an hour in the lobby) and then the photos they did get before the ceremony did not have flowers (boutonnières) in them. Brie messaged me at the time that she would cover our extra hour of photography as the late flower delivery impacted our photography schedule as well as the photos. HOWEVER, when we messaged her and the company after the wedding, Brie decided that she no longer wanted to pay for the hour of photography even though she had previously promised this in writing. She instead offered repayment that was significantly lower in amount. When we responded with our concerns that she was going back on what she had originally agreed to, she then stopped replying to us altogether and did not allow us to resolve the issue. We messaged her once a week for multiple weeks without any response. We also learned during this time that she contacted our photographer and asked him the amount of the extra hour of photography, because she did not believe us when we told her the amount. Now it has been nearly a month after our wedding, and we still have not heard back from Wild Flowers Design. I would not recommend using this vendor as unfortunately they have proven to be unreliable (1 hour late delivery), unprofessional (going back on their word), and not communicative (not responding to emails). read more

WFDG was the preferred florist with my venue (Union Brick Wedgewood) we started off rough, the consultant didn't sent us what our package included before so in the appt, so we felt rushed picking out what we needed. She put together a proposal together. After reviewing we wanted some changes and emailed back. After not hearing from her for over a week, I texted her and she left me know that she is on vacation. I worked with Kristina and Brie throughout the process and they were absolutely wonderful. They were very thorough in going over what we wanted and we sent pictures back and forth over Pinterest to make sure we were on the same page. They were also very patient with me through all the changes I made and always sent updated PDFs of our contract. Design wise, was okay. They understood our needs and our vision and used all the flowers we wanted Communication, bad. They would take forever to respond 4-7 days response time, but they would not miss any chance to tell us a payment is needed. And left many questions unanswered, and even some missed emails. I asked for some specific things that was very important to us that ties to the wedding and even reminded them again days before the wedding they did not delivered which was very disappointing. Pricing, so so. Also charged for a whole bunch of flowers to use for boutineer which is fine and understandable but they offered to use the rest of it for my bouquet which I was happy. But to see only a total of four flowers. I was charged 42$ for the bunch and to get only 4 flowers total. I can buy a bunch of 10 for 5.99 at Trader Joe's. read more

Wild Flowers Design Group provided flowers for my wedding this past weekend and the flowers were amazing. My bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets were so nice and exactly what I asked for. I have been to a number of events where wildflowers design group I have provided flowers and decor. I have always been amazed with their work. So there was no doubt in my mind that we were going to hire them as our florist. In fact we were so confident, that we did not even shop around to other florists. Now although I would love for you to believe me based off that, I will go ahead and justify why I believe I made the right decision and why are you most definitely should make the same one and go with wildflowers design group as well. So it's safe to say I had no idea what I was doing except that I just wanted it to be an experience that my guests would enjoy and that I would reminisce about. Brie was diligent about helping me identify what I want and what flowers would be most cost effective in delivering that look. On the day of, her staff delivered the flowers. Then they put out the sweetheart table decorations, the centerpieces, the ceremony pieces, and the roses down the aisle. Everything was done so beautifully and just like we had discussed. My bouquet was everything I wanted. It was filled a ton of eucalyptus and draped to compliment a gown. We also got bridesmaid bouquets, toss bouquet, corsages, and boutonnieres. All of the flowers lasted the duration of the wedding and then for a week after. Which I think speaks to the freshness of the flowers used. I am so happy Brie and her team were part of our day. Wild Flowers Design Group was the florist in our Wedgewood wedding package which means floral arrangements for our ceremony and reception are included but we can pay for upgrades. We spoke on the phone in early 2020 and I provided pictures of everything I wanted and paid the initial deposit. However, we ended up postponing our event and just getting married at the courthouse. For this year, we decided to make it a wedding reception which meant we did not need flowers for the wedding party or ceremony area. Since I had already paid a deposit for upgrades, I asked for other ways I could use the money and pay any additional fees. I scheduled two appointments which were weeks out, just to have no one call me. I tried emailing and then just asked them to reach out when they had time. My main contacts were Brie and Sarah. Brie told me that since they missed scheduled appointments, they would comp me for some of the centerpieces that I wanted OR they would refund my deposit. They sent the proposal and then I asked for some additional changes (not regarding the centerpieces). Sarah sent me a new proposal and the price for the centerpieces was more. I inquired and she said she would speak with Brie. I then got a third proposal and again prices changed. I then asked to speak on the phone since email obviously wasn't working. Before I got the call, Brie sends me an email that my deposit has been "refunded". I put in quotes because I could not figure out which payment method the money was refunded to so I never received it. She then calls to tell me what she's done. One I didn't ask for a refund. Two, if you did it moments before you called me why not speak with me first before "refunding". When I spoke to Brie, she said that I was receiving the "refund" AND still getting the centerpieces that I requested. Brie has always said the centerpieces would not be as full as my request, but never described what is pictured (see photos). As I reflect on the flowers at my event, I wonder if this is what I got because it was "free/no upgrades" or would I have received this after paying for upgrades? For this reading, I strongly urge you to request in person meetings or video calls, especially for flowers at your event. Ask to see photos of what you will get, at minimum, or have them do a mock up of what you will have for your event. We had our consultation with them on phone and via Pinterest in tandem which ended up working out because I could see photos of flowers they were going to be using for our event. Brie suggested some awesome flowers for the colors I said I wanted to use. All the contract, payments, and communication was done through Honeybook and worked out well. Day of our flowers looked beautiful! We had a first look scheduled for hours before our ceremony at a different location and they happily dropped off my bouquet and my husband's boutonniere ahead of time so we could have them for first look photos. I had a horrible experience with Wild Flowers Design Group. Everything started out okay because I booked a package with my venue and WFDG was the florist included in my package. I scheduled an appointment with WFDG and spoke with Kristina over the phone and sent inspiration photos via Pinterest for what I wanted. The phone call went great and I even raved about how she seemed to just pull the words out of my mouth on what I wanted. Well, about a week or so later a PDF was uploaded into my portal. The items were great but the colors were completely wrong. I followed up in the portal & tried calling to let them know I was a little confused. I didn't hear anything back so I reached out to my venue. They reached out and told me that WFDG would be in contact. I then spoke with the owner, Brie. She apologizes for the mistake and explains that she doesn't know what happened and that she'll have to to talk to Kristina. We then chat for a little bit to go over the colors that I wanted. After a couple PDFs, we finally have the correct one and I'm feeling better. A week later a new PDF is uploaded into my portal. Entirely wrong one this time and completely different people. I text Brie as I now have her number because she was handling my order. She apologizes for the mistake and explains that she got clients mixed up and that she had a 10 hour work day. I expressed my concerns of how this is now the second mistake and I am worried about the day of and if I will receive the correct flowers. To reassure me, I had her upload the correct PDF again so that it's at the top of the thread. I didn't mention anything to my venue since I thought this was just a fluke. Fast forward to 3 weeks before my flower follow-up appointment, I text Brie to confirm the date and time of the appointment. She confirms. The day of my appointment comes (6 weeks before my wedding) and I don't receive a call from her at 4pm. I texted Brie at 4:20pm to make sure that I'm still receiving a call....nothing. In the interim, my venue texts me to confirm an appointment that I have the following day. I explain to them then that I didn't receive a call from WFDG. The venue calls me and long story short, we had look to see if a different florist could accommodate my request this late in the game. That took a little while to get situated so I end up switching about 4-5 weeks before my wedding. Brie kept saying she'd comp things for me for the mistakes as they happened but at this point I don't even know if they'd show up and if the items would be correct. The communication is really bad and they aren't reliable. I did receive a text that evening from Brie 3 hours after my appointment time. She told me that she was working an event off site and didn't have reception...why double book yourself? I literally confirmed the date and time 3 weeks before. I understand a mistake and okay maybe two mistakes but to not call on an appointment is unprofessional. Once I got everything confirmed with my venue and the new florist and knew that it was going to work out, I texted Brie on 9/3/24 to let her know that we decided to switch with a different florist that the venue offers and asked about receiving a refund for our first payment. Now we weren't paying much because a ton had been comp'd from the mistakes and our first payment wasn't much at all but that's not even the point. They were supposed to provide a service and couldn't follow through and simply aren't reliable. Here I am on 9/7/24 writing this review and have yet to receive a response about my refund. Brie is AMAZING. We all already know that planning weddings are a stressful thing. We spend hours on Pinterest curating the wedding boards of our wildest dreams. Getting those dreams to come into fruition is a whole different story though. HOWEVER, if you book Brie and Wild Flowers Design Group (you would be crazy not to) you can check that dream box off your checklist! Brie was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. She was super responsive in my initial email and we set up a conference call to discuss my vision for my bouquets. She gave me a link to her Pinterest page, and I gave her one to mine. When we got to talk I quickly realized that we had the same exact taste in flowers, and she clicked with my vision perfectly. It was one of the best conversations I had with any potential vendor for my wedding. I didn't even have to think it over, I wanted to book her right away (especially after seeing how reasonable her prices are)! I told her that I completely trusted her (I did), and gave her free reign to create my bouquets! On the day of my wedding, when she came to present me with the bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids, I was shocked. They were absolutely STUNNING!!!! It's like she looked into the depths of my mind and created the bouquet of my wildest dreams! My girls and I could not get over how amazing out bouquets were! Even after the wedding, the bouquets stayed fresh and didn't even start wilting until at least 5 days later! Brie uses the absolute BEST quality flowers!!! I used WFDG as the preferred vendor for Wedgewood Weddings at the Sterling Hotel. I got all of my centerpieces and arch tiebacks as part of the package and added on 3 bouquets, a garland (for the ceremony/head table), and a greenery swag for $700 on top of the Wedgewood provided florals. My bouquet was $200, which is pricey, but it was gorgeous and had peonies in it. Every person I worked with at WFDG was patient and helpful. After our first consultation, Brie gave me some recommended flowers. Then as we got closer to the wedding, and I figured out that I actually had a few flower preferences, I was able to swap out some options and tweak colors a little. This review is very long lol so to sum it up in one sentence: Brie is kind and responsive and the florals were beautiful even though I had a few small issues. -------- When I first reached out to WFDG I was a little skeptical. The girl I first talked to had a hard time understanding my vision and after she told me she'd send me a proposal I waited 2 weeks before giving up on them. That's when Brie came in and saved the day! She was so sweet and apologized for the delay. She reassured me that she would be taking care of everything and even comp'ed our cake flowers. Brie was very thorough and made sure to capture everything I asked for in the proposal. The layout of their planning document is really easy to follow and having the reference photos was a really nice touch. We were originally going to get married in June 2020 but decided to postpone our big wedding to July 2021 due to COVID. Brie was so flexible and supportive with the change and even gifted us a boutonnière and bouquet for our backyard elopement. It was absolutely beautiful! And such a sweet gesture that really helped make our makeshift covid wedding feel more special. For our July 2021 reception, everything was beautiful but there were a few surprises and disappointments. The centerpieces were smaller than I expected, although beautiful. The ceremony aisles were supposed to have garlands all the way down the aisle, however, it was too short and had to be repurposed - which honestly was a blessing in disguise because without the garlands I think the tables would have looked barren. It did mean that our ceremony was pretty bare which was disappointing. The biggest upset for me was the flowers that were chosen for my bouquet. When I originally designed my bouquet, I specifically incorporated flowers that would be in bloom in June. Because of covid and my venues availability for the postponement, I knew that my floral selection would probably be impacted now being in July. Brie agreed that it could be an issue, but told me not to worry because it would be beautiful regardless. And while she was absolutely right, I wish I had asked her during our final meeting if the flowers I wanted were going to be doable or if there was a shortage or if they were out of season. As I stepped in front of my friends and family and looked down to the end of the aisle at my beloved, I noticed that part of the floral arrangement for the arch was missing. We had a terrible experience with this company. Granted they were a part of a package deal where your choices were seriously limited unless you agreed to an up charge for changes. We agreed to the up charge, and we're pretty specific about our desires, particularly NO ROSES, roses were in most of the arrangements they did. The roses in the very pricey corsages were browning on the edges and simply not pretty, not inexpensive either. Out centerpieces we're pretty, very pretty and exactly as we requested. The bridal bouquet, while pretty enough, was not a $300+ bouquet of sunflowers. The disappointment in the floral would not have been as disappointing if we at least received good customer service and communications. This was the worst, of course covid was the blame or excuse for no time for a phone call or a meeting. Thank goodness we hired an additional florist to provide beautiful arrangements. read more

I didn't have any strong preferences regarding my flowers except that I wanted a lot of color; they immediately sent me a few photos that I might like and I chose the first one I saw. The bouquet they gave me was even more beautiful in person, and must have weighed at 10 lbs. Wild Flowers was a preferred vendor suggested by our venue (wedgewood wedding). I was very pleased with our flowers and I got a lot of compliments on them. We did have a communication problem. We had a follow up meeting a couple weeks before the wedding, made some changes, and asked for a copy of the changes. We got realllllly closed to the wedding (or at least if felt that way) and finally reached out and asked again. Wild flowers was very responsive and worked with us. Unfortunately, I didn't take a detailed look at the proposal and missed one error.... I had ordered Corsages for the moms, and the proposal showed a picture of a corsage with white roses and Eucalyptus. That is NOT what we got. We ended up with a corsage with a ton of gold ribbon and greenery. After going back and looking at the proposal, they didn't have any flowers listed for the corsage. She was very understanding and recommended we do a phone consultation later in the month and then she refunded me my $45! My phone appointment was for 4pm and she called me at exactly 4pm! I had my computer open, per her request and we linked up on Pinterest. I was able to show her the pins of wedding bouquets that I liked the most. She was super professional. Made recommendations for cheaper flowers that would still give me the same look, and we also discussed flowers and centerpieces for the wedding. She sent me examples so I could choose which ones I wanted and assured me that if I changed my mind I had up to 10 days before the wedding to make final decisions. Brie was super personable and funny; easy to talk to too! She really listened to what I wanted and made it happen for us! She said she would send us a quote (since bouquets and boutonnieres aren't included in my venue cost, just ceremony flowers and centerpieces). I contacted Brie and asked if she could help me out by creating a center piece and broach for my boyfriend's birthday that was sort of a Hannibal themed dinner party. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted but she was super patient with all my questions and gazillions of photo ideas and theme examples. What came of it was outstanding and beyond what I imagined. It was absolutely perfect and fit exactly to my theme- she even found a flower that sort of looked like brains.
