I managed to find the time to not overlook this beautiful seafood market and adjacent cafe. They have a wonderful selection of white fishes, salmon and shellfish in addition to mainly local items of interest in their grocer like marinades to try, dog and cat treats (my cats are essentially like the simplest man, they don't care for treats outside of just being fed), cedar plank boards for setting up a great cedar plank salmon and local bags of coffee and kombucha. Adjacent is a sit down cafe with takeout and delivery options including salads, sandos, sushi and a little something for those picky little sailors that are maybe in your life! It's off of 11 between Danville and Bloomsburg and it's a beautiful gem of an operation backed by a local family. Only 4 stars because it IS pricey (justifiable for a local biz to an extent) as this may not be practical for feeding a family at home on many budgets striving to get more omega 3's and eat healthier. And im unsure if they accept EBT as the option isn't listed at the shop. My advice? Go in bouts whether that's enjoying a lunch or picking up some good local coffee for that Saturday morning at home or even a kombucha for settling your tummy! It's worth it. All I have to say with any seafood is you pay for what you get. Quality fish of all types can be found here. If they don't have something specific you are looking for at the time just ask! They might be getting some in/packaged soon or can suggest a great alternative. I am not sure you are gonna get a better price this far inland. I have heard people suggest that it is "pricey" which I guess it is if you are comparing it to a massive bag of your local super store "wild caught" salmon. It really isn't bad. I get their fish directly from this location or (only because it is closer to my house) I buy their products from Bloom Naturally out on route 11. Have eaten numerous types of their salmon and crab throughout the years and have never been disappointed. Keep that quality coming wild for salmon! read more

We were given salmon and scallops as a gift from my son and family who live nearby. I've never had such tender scallops ever! The salmon was top rate, and the salmon burgers are a favorite!! I have been buying salmon from Jen and Steve since the beginning - I remember how exciting it was when they bought their boat. The salmon is the best ever, I stock up after the harvest comes in during Aug/Sept and have salmon the whole year. I've also tried the smoked salmon, salmon spread, scallops, and ikura, which I buy in the large trays. Everything is great - extremely fresh frozen, never a problem. Love that they come to the Phoenixville Farmers' market, and if you want something special I always call ahead and they bring it to the market. Fabulous product, fantastic people.
