I ordered a box from this place and I LOVED it! The ground beef cooked up amazingly well, and I did not have to spend 20 minutes chopping it. It was perfect! I am choosing 3 family members who are struggling this year who have families with kids and sending them a box. Every year, my mom spends $150 to send us one from Omaha Steaks, but it is really meant for 2-4. Here you can customize, the delivery is just as nice, and you can send a short note. Aside from the great steaks , ribs and desserts , the service is exceptional . Today I picked up an online order that I had made. I had mistakenly ordered the pick up at the wrong location . The folks at the store still filled my order . Upon arriving home , I noticed that the meat I purchased , was not the same one I had ordered online . I called customer service and they had the meat personally delivered to my house within the hour . I couldn't believe it !!! That service and dedication will make me a customer for life . I have been here 3 times in 3 weeks each time to replace what I ate and try something new. The swordfish and the mahi mahi are sashimi quality . The aged NY Strip tender as can be The rack of lamb better than Costco size,quality, and price. The Large cooked,peeled and devined shrimp at $8.00 and change/lb. Who are you kidding? The rack of lamb beats Costco for price and quality. Also don't let the Brown color of the aged meat fool you. When you thaw it, it turns rose colored like it should no artificial colors. read more

My family've been recommending this place for a while for me to try. It had a good selection of meats and seafood. So finally, I went to the store In Coral Gables. This is not your regular supermarket; the store consists of Isles full of frozen food, mostly raw and some precooked. I love fresh fruits and vegetables, so I end-up going to Whole Foods thereafter to complete my shopping. I have not had a chance to try everything I've purchased yet, but selection was impressive. I've found this very convenient: along the isles there were gourmet prepackaged dishes with all necessary spices and even sauces. I've also bought a whole duck and cooked it the next day. Surprisingly, the taste off this duck was a little stronger then the ducks I usually buy at Whole Foods. I am not sure why and willing to try one more time because the price is definitely great. read more

It takes a lot for me to write a review, specially a bad one. I made an order last night to be picked up today, I received the email this morning that it was ready for me to come get it. Upon arrival theres only one guy on the floor, on the cashier(of course), and i had to wait 30 minutes in line for him to look at my order, call another employer and say he needed help. It honestly defeats the whole purpose of the "pick up". I'm giving them 2 stars bc their steak is actually. but, the service is god awful. Do better. read more

Passed by to check out their meats. They have very good prices. Everything is already frozen but is good quality. I bought some pork chops, chicken thighs, and salmon to try their different proteins. Everything was very affordable. I had the salmon last night for dinner and it had a nice mild flavor. I was afraid it might be too fishy but it was nice. Food smells wierd and tastes chewy! Cuts of meat are not cut properly and do not have the freshness that the store speaks of. You get what you pay for, I bought $300 of meat thinking it'd be great. I opened a few cuts of meat including the lamb and mussels and they had gone bad... The lamb had an extremely disturbing smell, like rotten milk. The mussels has turned milky. It was just a huge disappointment. The chicken breast here taste so weird and chewy. A lot of fat on the breast as well. Overall would not return or recommend. read more

This place was amazing great quality of food the steak was great we used to buy the skirt steak and it was packaged in a long format. All of a sudden it's packaged in a smaller bundle and the steak is very thin now not the same quality very disappointed. Will not buy meat here any longer. I had always heard about the 'suckling pig' as a special delicacy, particularly in Spain. My friends and I decided to find one and prepare it for Christmas dinner this year. I called the Wild Fork Foods in Coral Gables. Allan, the store manager told me that he had some so I went right over. Allan was there and was extremely informative, - not only about this particular kind of pig, - but he also had various recommendations as to how to prepare it. We followed his recommendations, and the meal was superb. I was very impressed by the service and the expertise at this Wild Fork. I've been looking for better alternatives to meat that is sold at our local grocery stores. I've never been very impressed. I have also been surprised by their rising prices. My wife mentioned Wild Forks in passing one day but I really didn't think much about it. Then we decided to visit on a day we wanted to have a barbecue. I love it! There is no butcher onsite but that doesn't mean you will not get good quality meat. We were looking for cuts of churrasco. And what we found was restaurant quality beef at a fraction of the cost. Their meat is flash frozen at the most optimum time of freshness. You can taste it in the meat. They've got your beef, chicken and pork but for the adventurous person you can find elk, bison, goat and wild boar! We oh my!! They also have fresh wild caught fish. I love the salmon burgers! And you will find frozen veggies and desserts alike. I love this place! read more

Really impressed by the layout of the store and the quality of their meat. I've gone to the store and ordered online and both have been great experiences. When I started buying at this store food was wonderful in quality. I bought a lot of smoked salmon: great price for a very good amount. Now is less quantity and frozen. The same with the salmon in pieces. I used to buy a package of 8 pieces and now it is a package for the same price but only 4 pieces and extremely frozen. I looked around for the other products and I was not attracted to buy any. The chicken looked very old. Sorry guys, but I don't think I will be back again. read more

This is a gem of a place to buy quality fish, steaks, pork, etc for grilling and home cooked dinners. They also have sides such as vegetables, rolls, and sauces. The staff is very knowledgeable and the choices/prices are better than Publix or Whole Foods. They even have stone crabs, mussels, scallops, whole lamb, venison, - you name it.
