There is an option to purchase meat perfection here in South Florida and its name is Wild Fork. Now I've seen their advertisement that they're more than just meat and I've been in the store and I purchased more than just meat, but I have to say that for me it's all about the meat. Whether you want a huge Wagyu tomahawk steak, a skewer of marinated meat and vegetables ready for the grill, or some fresh hamburger, this is the place you're going to find it. I have learned from experience that it is simply the best. The best always comes at a price, but at Wild Fork the prices are actually reasonable. You can find a broad range of price points from choice meats at family friendly prices to prime meats at reasonable prices to Wagyu meat at premium prices but by my own purchases, I am certain that every time I am getting value and more importantly, great tasting cuts of meat. Whether I am purchasing short ribs or briskets for the smoker, steaks for the barbecue, or Osso Buco to braise, I am certain every time that I am getting the finest cuts for the particular dish I am preparing. I would call it restaurant quality, except what I have made it at home from what I purchased there has often exceeded anything I've eaten in a restaurant in flavor and quality. Today's order is a bit larger than usual because I filled my cart with plans to take out the things I did not immediately want but accidentally hit "Send." And while I'm sure customer service would've helped me to correct this faux pas, I was suddenly thrilled to know that I would have all of these choices at my immediate disposal. And despite what I said previously, in this review, I did go beyond just meat. A few fish portions will round out the menu for some time to come. OK, I can't write a review and not tell you my favorites. I am a huge fan of beef ribs and they have so many different ways to order it so I often find myself getting multiple types. Whether the Dino ribs or the full racks, the flanken style or thin cuts for Korean barbecue, I have absolutely loved everything that I have bought. In addition, the large briskets that I like to put on the smoker are exceptional whem purcgased from Wild Fork. They require less trimming than when I purchase from other places making it much simpler to prepare this for a wonderful meal for a crowd. The cowboy steaks are not the ones you see in the restaurants that are simply bone in ribeyes; these are huge pieces of prime ribeye, which can feed a family and taste better than anything you've ever eaten at those restaurants serving them. They are a better value than the tomahawk, but I always order one of those as well because they look so impressive on the plate. Of the order the only thing I've used so far this time is the hanger steak. I made this in an Asian inspired dish with vegetables and it was so tender and delicious that I am about to eat the leftovers for lunch. Wild Fork is a wonderful choice for your meat shopping, but I encourage you to look well beyond that. They have the best of rubs and their smoked sea salt somehow seems to make every steak taste even better. Their fish is delicious as is their chicken. I absolutely love their duck breast and game meats as well. They have many other items, including prepared meals, but I have yet to try those. Highly recommended. read more

I have been visiting their shop on US1, so I am happy to see that they have expanded further west. Tl;DR: Whole Foods quality and portion at Costco price. Nice service. While I love the prices of Costco meat, their large portions mean that one pack lasts very long in my small household, and we would be eating the same cut of meat over and over. Here, I can get a pack of this, a pack of that, and then plan a variety of dishes. They offer meat in a variety of price point. Take chicken thigh for example. You get can your basic ones for less than $1 a lb. You can get the no-antibiotic ones, or you can pay $4 a lb for organic. Similar, you have your basic beef and pork, you can spurge and go with wagyu and kurobuta, or go somewhere in between, like grass fed. They also have harder to find cuts and meats, such as goat, duck, rabbit, pig feet, blood sausage, as well as marinated meat or prepared portion that makes dinner prepping a breeze. But don't think it's only meat they sell. They also have a section of meatless burger and the like, desserts, veggies and other things to complete a meal. A few things you need to be aware of though: - Everything is frozen. So for the most part, advance planning is involved. It's not something you can grab on your way home from work for dinner tonight. - Unlike Whole Foods or Publix, there's no butcher to cut the meat per your specifications. read more

Wild Fork in west Kendall is an amazing store. I found items that I haven't seen in Oakland Park or online. Blood sausages, pork steakhouse sausages and grilling cheese were just a few unique items that I found. I walked around several times looking at everything like a kid in a candy store. I bought skirt steak, boneless chicken thighs, Italian hot sausages, loganiza sausages, blood sausages, tomahawk steak and beef marrow bones. I want to go back for some of the grilling cheese! The two guys that were stocking and running the store were super helpful. They know their products well and taught me about some of the new products. Check out was fast and easy. If you have an account, they can email you your receipt. If you are within 10 miles of this store, come check it out. You will find great quality meat for reasonable prices. I love this store. All frozen quality foods at low prices. Everything I've bought here is excellent. Meats, fish, desserts all great! For a birthday celebration we had steak, lobster and the little chocolate pots. All for less than one person's surf and turf entree at a restaurant. After passing by this market time and time again, I finally decided to stop on in. There are neatly organized cooler sections with the meat, poultry, and seafood. I also saw that they sell some deserts as well. Everything is labeled and you have plenty of options to choose from. My husband asked one of the employees a question regarding the wagyu beef, to which he very willingly answered, while also providing some additional tips. Among them, he suggested we try the smoked salt that they sell, which you can grab right by the check-out - along with a decently-sized variety of spices. Side note, the key lime pie is made in Key West, and is pretty good. This place makes purchasing your meat simple, quick, and offers good pricing. Oh Wild Fork. I really wanted to love you, but it's just not happening. You have so much going for you. Great concept, amazing selection, easy ordering process, and fantastic delivery service. However, where it's a massive failure is the actual food My man had the fillet mignon there and said they were quite good, so meat eaters rejoice. But this isn't his review. It's mine, and pescatarians should keep on swimming. The skinless single portion Atlantic salmon was overwhelmingly fishy and not very fresh smelling at all. Their yellowfin tuna which looks like a beautiful rich red color in photos in actuality has a pallor more grey than a rainy London day. The fully cooked clam and mussels were equally an abomination. I took two bites and threw the lot out. I'd imagine prison food being more appetizing. I still have lobster and snapper in the freezer but if my culinary adventures thus far are any indication I'm in for a mouthful of disappointment. It's also a shame that they're one of the few establishments not offering curbside pickup. Pretty much every place I've been to the last six months offers that service. While doing errands in the area, I was pleasantly surprised to see a new business. Curious, I stopped in to check it out. Once inside, I quickly realized it's mostly a frozen food place that specializes in grass fed and organic meat. Exotic meat, seafood and few vegetarian selections are also available. A smaller section that caught my eye was a variety of appetizers and desserts. All in all, it's a place that you can stock up or even, prepare for a party. Another plus is the gentleman that was working here was well versed in what they sell. He took the time to tell me about the store and advise me about the available reward program and online ordering. My order was confirmed out for delievery and I waited by my front door for 2 hours before being notified that my order could not be delievered. No way to request a refund and I will have no thanksgiving meals this year. Please refund my payment plus the tip I left for the delievery driver. I f****** love Wild Fork! They have an awesome selection of meats like you wouldn't believe! When you walk in you'll notice that this place is extremely clean, well-stocked, and organized. They have desserts like macaroons and key lime pie on top of the meats they have too! I got a tomahawk steak for roughly $30 which typically cost upwards of $150 in steak restaurants. They also have Australian lamb racks for under $20 too. On top of the delicious selection aforementioned, they also have an exotic meats section, which includes meats like deer, elk, yak, ostrich, alligator, rabbit and more! I've had their chuck roast, Canadian lobster tails, ground ostrich/venison, tomahawk, lamb shanks, and rabbit! Everything is great quality and Fossil Farms where they get their exotic meats from is based out of New Hersey and run by Amish farmers! Denis, the gentleman. In my last purchase I bought the $29.99 membership for delivery, when I try to checkout yesterday my cart with $40 dollars items, it didn't allowed me to checkout, I spoke with customer service and they asked me that 1- I could complete my purchase with a phone call and give my credit card information, which is not an option for me, 2- use a computer, instead of safari from my phone, which I didn't have a computer around me, and all my the online shopping I use my phone or 3- download their app, which I also didn't want, because when I bought they membership it didn't have this requirements. The excuse is the system is new and still has issues, I do understand that, but don't offer a service that you cannot delivery, and don't charge the customer for that. I asked for refund the membership, since it will not make any sense for me to do, and the customer service told me they would get an approval and I should received an email last night or today, and I still haven't heard anything back from them.
