I want to start my review of Wild Forks by saying that I absolutely love this place. Not once have I been disappointed with my purchase. Everything I have bought has great taste and always tender. I recently tried their frozen prepared foods. The frozen food says it feeds two but I'm sorry to say it does not. I loved the taste of the Beef tips in mushroom sauce with penne pasta. I also bought the teriyaki chicken with rice again super small portion even for one. I did not like the sauce with the teriyaki chicken it's way to sweet. I have no experience with the store itself, which may be way better than my frozen food experience. Frozen food quality might be Ok. Can't be sure of the provenance-cause these days, who knows??? But from a taste perspective - this is basically white people's wild guesses of non-American flavors. Ordered fish, bulgogi (Korean BBQ), tarragon chicken, Sirloin tri-tip, chicken marsala, chicken curry (Indian?), among others. At best, totally bland (and that's for the "italian food"). At worst, a wild and laughable American guess of something they've never actually tasted. Bulgogi with sweet and sour flavor???? C'mon. Fish totally dry and leaky packaging to boot. Got a tri-tip steak to cook at a small dinner party and was embarrassed by texture and quality of the cut. This stuff is barely above a TV dinner. At least with a TV dinner you can say it's ironic. No reason to spend extra $$$ on this unfortunately. We were excited to have a good alternative to Trader Joe's. But no luck. Avoid their frozen dinners. read more

OMG!! the best ever. i just went there to drop in and see what they have! there was so much of variety of foods. i was in awe. I bought some of the frozen meals it was amazing. Just what Ft Lauderdale needed! What a cool concept! I tried ordering online through their app and it was easy. Pulled right up and my order was ready and waiting in a freezer by the checkout. The staff was so nice and polite. My favorites from my 1st order are the grass fed burger patties, the organic chicken thighs and the organic beef filet mignon. I'll admit I was hesitant about buying frozen meats. I've always thought fresh tasted better but now I've changed my mind. The way the food is packaged and frozen I thought it was actually BETTER than the fresh chicken and beef I've been buying at Whole Foods. There were so many things that looked interesting that I never knew about. I'm excited to try more items like the steamable broccoli florets, frozen parsley, ginger and garlic. This is probably the coolest grocery store I've ever been to. They have the most unique, most fresh meats I have ever encountered, especially for all of it being frozen. In addition to their meats I've had a lot of their other products including their desserts and sides. I purchased and tried their crapes this week which I added my own filling to. Absolutely delicious. My fiancé and I have been here many many times. On one of our recent trips we got the tomahawk steak to celebrate his father's 60th birthday. In regards to the facility being clean, it is pretty much impeccable. The people working there are very helpful and at the same time they stay out of your way unless you need help. I always hate when I'm at a grocery store and people keep asking me if I need help. Like I will find someone if I need help OK thanks bye! For the quality of meat that they offer the price is also very fair. I would purchase made from here again and again to host parties or just for my own enjoyment and appetite! read more

I tried several different mail order businesses before Wild Fork, mostly trying to find decently cut & tender steaks. These are hard to find locally, but I found that finding steaks cut thicker than 1/2" thick extremely hard to find, even through these sites. My other complaints were the many necessary but inexpensive ' Sides' & desserts needed to get free shipping along with limited quantities of the best cuts of meat. Additionally the variety wasn't there where other things like Seafood were concerned. So I tried Wild Fork. I must say that most of what I have ordered has been good quality & I like the variety of vegetables, etc they offer. I also like not having to order a certain number of stuff I don't want to get the special price. Still we've found that there is the problem of steaks cut too thin, along with some degree of Toughness. And we have received several packages of chicken breast in which the sizes & tenderness varied greatly. In this last order I received a bag of boneless thin cut chicken breasts that were not fileted correctly, falling apart into smaller pieces of uneven thicknesses. Some work needs to be done with Quality Control here, but still it's a good source for a variety of foodstuffs delivered to your door! read more

Have bought beef twice from and both times a reasonably priced, superior product, arrived within 26 hrs from hitting the purchase button. That's Florida to Texas. Whole tenderloin, and the prime rib eye filets. Fast delivery, good price, easy to order, huge selection, great beef. For about the same price, or less, as far less waste, you get a better cut than super market, and delivered. No intention of buying beef at supermarkets going forward. read more

I will be honest and say I didn't have huge expectations. Needed a rib roast for Thanksgiving and ordered up a mail in delivery. First time. This was about 5.6 pound rib roast. It was insane. We felt like we ate at Lawry's steakhouse. It was full prime rib. Super delicious. Everything was perfect about this order. We still can't stop talking about how good dinner was. Super impressed. Price was so reasonable too!! I am now going to be ordering steaks and other products from WF. I have been stocking freezer with Perdue Farms but this experience has made me want to continue with WF! This place is so important to us. We consider frozen foods a desirable part of the pantry. Vegetables and fruits are picked when ripe, seafood is usually frozen within minutes of being caught. You can easily tell the difference. But frozen foods carried by large grocers are either for those who eat prepared meals or looking for "value". When it comes to pricier frozen foods, the selection is thin and subject to too much change. That's why Wild Fork is so desirable. They have a huge selection that doesn't change every week. Yeah on the corners. Where was the rest? Why on earth would we complain over one piece of meat. No coupon for future orders, nothing. How insulting. Basically calling us liars. I ordered boneless lamb cubes that were advertised as 1-2" cubes but all I got was a bag full of pieces none of which were more than 3/4" cubes and there was plenty of fat. I won't be buying anything from Wild Fork because you can't trust what they tell you. read more

I love everything about Wild Fork Foods! They have everything from your normal chicken breasts to a Wagyu Ribeye and even a Tomahawk Steak. My favorite though is the Prime Ribeye Cap steak that for $20 you can feed two people! The ribeye cap is nicknamed the "Butcher's Butter" because of its tenderness and flavor and if you have never tried it, I highly recommend you going and grabbing one. One of the main reasons I love shopping here besides the quality and the price is that they are environmentally friendly. By freezing their meats, which seals in all the flavor and tenderness, it helps their high quality product last longer which eliminates waste. In a time where we waste so much food, here is a company giving us a high quality product AND not wasting food by not having to throw it out every week. All in all, I have found my new store to buy not only my meats but my frozen veggies, fruits, fries (tater tots, yuca, plantains), sauces, desserts and even spices (Butchers salt and pepper is my favorite) and charcoal as well. I would 10/10 recommend this to anyone who likes a good steak, a specialty items like lamb, veal or bison, any type of chicken, pork and some of the best seafood I've ever had. My shopping experience at the store is always a very pleasant one ! The store has a very clean , hygenic , grand feel with its high ceiling , sparkling freezers and long , glass windows . They carry an immense variety of poultry, sausages, duck , quail, bison, lamb, goat and ofcourse the different select cuts of beef and oh my favourite are the fish , lobster , crab and other seafood produce . I really need only make one stop to stock up my family !! The multitude of frozen gourmet sauces and spices are an absolute compliment to my menus ...and they also carry an ample line of desserts . I must say from the deightful attention of the employees to the vast display of their products ..attractive prices ...always makes me want to linger and browse and buy ! We were told about Wild Fork from a gourmet friend and we had to try their selection. I'm a big foody still looking for a private butcher that ages their own meat. Spoiled by Peter Luger's. Needless to say, until I find one, Wild Fork has replaced all the other stores we used to shop. Everything we have bought has been great and beyond expectation. My only issue with them is the selection is too too large. With up to 4 grades in one meat cut, how do you decide which to buy, forgetting price. My solution will be to try all of them working my way up to their high grade Wagu. read more

Online Ordering and Home Delivery - Ya Know, it is sad that what seemed to be a great place to order Quality frozen food online, ends up being a nightmare within a few months. No need to go into detail, and I am sure the walk-in stores are probably awesome, but I will Never Recommend online ordering from Wild Fork to anyone, again. We were so embarrassed, and suffice it to say, Thanksgiving was ruined by some off brand brined turkey, which we had to throw out. We were promised a refund of the food item, and shipping cost of $9.99 for our trouble. I thought that's fair, I suppose. Note: We have probably ordered over $600 in online food over the last year from Wild Fork. The ending of our story with Wild Fork is that it will not refund the full amount, although it was authorized by a managing customer agent, by email. When our refund never appeared in full, and no one answers the phones, we waited for a response to our email for an explanation... they just sent a copy of my purchase order. Moral of the story, well clearly it is a customer service issue. Good luck. Let's see if they can take this review down! read more

Picked up some bake-in-the-bag ribs, a key lime pie, some mussels (no shells), and some pre-chopped organic chicken (frozen). The ribs cooked up beautifully in the bag (fall-off-the-bone tender). The mussels were plump and tasted fresh. I cooked some of the chicken on the stove top and couldn't tell the difference between the organic chicken breasts that I buy at Publix or Costco. In fact, I would say the Wild Forks was a bit more tender. But I didn't have to chop it up and freeze it since that is already done for me. The key lime pie was outstanding - dinner party worthy. I'll never buy the Publix version again. The Wild Forks pie is handmade at the Keys Fisheries in Marathon Key. The graham cracker crust was amazing and the pie tart and tangy like it should be - the yellowish palest of green color that it should be, too. This is the real thing and Wild Forks is selling the pies for less than you can order them from Keys Fisheries directly. There were so many things to choose from in chicken, beef, fowl, lamb, seafood of every kind- I even saw ground Yak. Recommend you stop by to pick up some basics. Customer service with a smile and a beautiful store on top of it all. You can also order on line and they'll have it ready for pick up. read more

Quality, price, service; all exceptional. I have tried buying pork back ribs from grocery stores, specialty stores and "big box" stores. Only decent ribs in Fort Lauderdale are from an expensive butcher shop. Until now. At almost half the price, the ribs here are excellent. Pork tenderloin at $2 a pound. In my last purchase I bought the $29.99 membership for delivery, when I try to checkout yesterday my cart with $40 dollars items, it didn't allowed me to checkout, I spoke with customer service and they asked me that 1- I could complete my purchase with a phone call and give my credit card information, which is not an option for me, 2- use a computer, instead of safari from my phone, which I didn't have a computer around me, and all my the online shopping I use my phone or 3- download their app, which I also didn't want, because when I bought they membership it didn't have this requirements. The excuse is the system is new and still has issues, I do understand that, but don't offer a service that you cannot delivery, and don't charge the customer for that. I asked for refund the membership, since it will not make any sense for me to do, and the customer service told me they would get an approval and I should received an email last night or today, and I still haven't heard anything back from them.
