My fiancé and I both felt completely at ease with her and just knew she was our person. A few days before the wedding, I did a boudoir shoot with her, and she made me feel comfortable right away. I had never done anything like that before, but within minutes it felt like we had known each other forever. She guided me so effortlessly while hyping me up and making me feel like the most beautiful version of myself. She has this genuine, magnetic energy that makes you feel so confident and seen. She even turned around photos quickly so I could share them with my fiancé the morning of our wedding, and he was completely obsessed. On the wedding day, she was incredible. I truly cannot imagine the day without her. It felt like having one of our best friends there with us. She gave just the right amount of direction, making small adjustments that I know made a huge difference, while still allowing us to be fully ourselves. Leading up to the wedding, there was a 90% chance of rain. In those final days, she kept me calm and grounded, reminding me that everything would be okay no matter what. And it was. Not only did it not rain, but the sun came out, and she made sure to pull us aside for the most beautiful sunset photos. My husband also absolutely adored Morgan. She stepped in while the guys were getting ready and blended right in, joking around, matching their energy, and hyping everyone up while still capturing everything perfectly. Her pricing was also completely fair and less than a lot of the big companies I looked at. Usually, I cannot stand pictures of myself. With Lisa, I have beautiful pictures that I love. My bridal portraits were AMAZING. Did I mention, I've never liked pictures of myself, EVER, until Lisa? The wedding photos came out gorgeous, my entire family was so happy. She captured such candid pictures of family and friends and she is wonderful at getting people together quickly and in flattering positions. In the moments right after the ceremony, you have literally 30 minutes to get pictures of the wedding party. We had an enormous wedding party, and Lisa was fast and friendly getting everyone to organize and pose. It's not easy, but she was a rockstar. More than anything, know that you're not getting a junior photographer at a big company. You're getting Lisa, and she's such a talent. Post-wedding, Lisa sent me all of my pictures on discs, copyright-released. She even touched up a lot of them, which she wasn't contracted to do. She's just that cool. (Sidenote: I'm a designer by trade, and she did great work on touch-ups - nothing was done incorrectly.) The discs were sent to me very quickly - they were waiting for me when I got back from the honeymoon. My family had such a wonderful experience, we will use Lisa again for future photography needs.

We made an absolutely great decision there…read more We first met Melanie to do our engagement photos at the Blanton, those obviously turned out stunning, as she was able to get both of us to open up a little bit and get some good shots of us. Highly recommend doing an engagement session first, the chance to work with her twice was so awesome! Emails with her were always responded to in a very timely manner, and she was very helpful with any questions I had, so great to work with. She and her assistant James showed up and were ready to go on time, kept our day running smoothly through all the photos we wanted taken and they got so many shots of things that I didn't even think of! Finishing off the night with a gorgeous nighttime shot! Their personalities shone throughout the day, everyone was talking about how amazing and fun our photographers were.This was the first time that Melanie had worked with James, but you could not tell in the least, the two worked so well together and then the way they worked with the guests...I can't compliment them enough! As for the final product, it was beyond compare. Somehow she made it seem like when I scroll through the pictures of the day that I am just walking through memories of that day. It's so amazing, I truly am unable to pick my favorite pictures from the day, because they're all beautiful. I'm so glad that we hired her for our day, she made it truly great the day of and then the gift that keeps on giving, the memories she gave me are a true treasure. Most of the photography booths were hard to tell apart, and it seemed like theirs was the only one with a definite /style/. I didn't interact with "he" much, but "she" was awesome. Melanie and a helper photographed our wedding. They were friendly, relaxed, and totally flexible - there was no rigid list of shots to get, and they did some fun stuff working with the location. Photography Style: Following the advice of a friend (who wasn't very satisfied with her wedding photos), I asked to see 3 full albums to get a good sense of their photography style. I'm not into special tinting or "artistic" angles. My goal was to be able to look at my wedding album years from now and feel like the photos were timeless. Chris & Yvonne deliver a beautiful, classic style! They captured gorgeous images of the decor, and more importantly, my friends and family members all looked fantastic! 2. Rapport: Following the advice of another friend, I also had my sister (who is local to Austin) and her family meet Chris & Yvonne. It was important to me that my family get along well with both of them, because I think people's moods really show through in photographs. Needless to say, everyone got along great. I can't stress enough how fantastic Chris & Yvonne are to work with. Even my tough-to-please mother loved them both! 3. Customer Service: Chris & Yvonne were always very prompt with their responses and very accommodating throughout. When things got really hectic with my schedule in those last few weeks before the wedding, they were also proactive in reaching out to make sure all of the final details were set. They were also very timely with the delivery of the photos, which were available online well within the estimated time frame they had provided me.
