I was told to pic a color, but, I have to be honest here, there was really no choice to make for me. They had very dull color choices and not very many which totally surprised me. I kept saying that nothing was interesting to me. Anyhow, finally decided (all the while being not happy with color). Might I add that this was the most expensive pedicure that I ever paid for and I have traveled all over the world. It was so basic, they don't even trim up the cuticles around the nail, they do nothing to the areas around the nails. NEVER had that happen before. They look horrible to me. She had to keep polishing one of the nails, or should I say half of my nail, over and over to try and get it right. (never did) Just a VERY TERRIBLE experience. Lesson learned. The staff was kind and offered me snacks and beverages right off the bat. From the moment I consulted with Catherine she asked all the right questions about my hair history and understood the assignment 100%. I'm a new mom and my hair hasn't been highlighted in so long that I wasn't feeling like myself. Not to mention I have thick 3c Curly hair that has older highlights but she handled my hair with care, thoughtfulness and full attention to detail. I was rudely asked to put a deposit down, which I declined, mainly because I wasn't expecting to put any money down and I hardly ever carry cash. So, I make the appointment for Friday at 3:15 and leave. Friday afternoon around 12:00-12:30, I go to the hair store on my lunch break to buy the hair the stylist asked me to buy. She said sorry and gave an excuse about being the only one who can do natural hair so she had to take the walk in.... My thing is this: Why take my number down.if youre not going to use it when youre running behind. I couldve been at work. Why ask for a deposit to hold your spot when a walk in can come in and take your spot anyway. I wouldve been super pissed had I given a deposit and had to wait to be serviced because of a walk in Why not acknowledge your customer and be proactive about the delay? If she explained the situation when I first walked in, I wouldve went back to my office until she was ready. Came in after Covid quarantine, for a platinum blonde growth and extension consult. I was charged $600 and walked out with a yellow band around my head. The stylist I saw didn't allow the bleach to process the first time, when she washed out my hair.I was left with a orange band. She then proceeded to add a second round of bleach. When I left the salon she parted my hair, where the yellow band was not noticeable. The following day I noticed the yellow band called the salon. I'm normally in the salon for 3 hours, as I a have been a platinum blonde for a couple years now, I was there for 4 for her mistake. I was scheduled for my extensions placement the following week and ask if I could come in and get them both done. Came in for the extension installation with the same stylist. Showed her the yellow band and she immediately got all defense, like I screwed up her hair. Her customer service just thrown out the window that I had to speak to the owner. I was then explain why I was charged 600, 150 by the hour. Because of the product and time it took. So not only was I charged for her mistake, they charged me for the extra time as well, ridiculous. Decided to give Neri another try despite our fall out to place my hair extensions. Horrible mistake! She has no experience, the foundation of my extensions fell a part in about 3 weeks expand. I had to come back for her to redo 2 out of 3 rows. I noticed that the top weft was cut short, didn't even make it to the last bead! When I was 7 weeks out I experienced, breakage off the 3 row. Talked to the owner and she had the audacity to tell me maybe my hair was to fine for this type of extensions after the fact I spent 1000 for the hair and placement. Like isn't this what the Consultation is for?? I also couldn't wear my hair straight, without you knowing I had extensions on. My appointment started about 10 minutes late as she finished with her previous client. Non of that happened. Zoey was great. She took her time and listened to my wants, concerns and even showed me 2ways to style my new cut. I am however saddened by the receptionist. Even while waiting to been seen neither of them were really connected with customers. Heads were down, never let me know that the stylist would be with me shortly or offered anything to drink...I noticed when Zoey took me back to wash my hair there was a coffee station and also a water cooler. This was after all my first time there, which they new from my appointment as they had asked when it was booked.
