If I am sending flowers to a person from Thimbleberry House, it speaks volumes to the kind of person who is receiving them. There are those people that you could walk into their home with Trader Joes flowers and that is OK and perfect. There are then those people you want to step it and send a floral arrangement from Thimbleberry House. Two different type of messages you are saying and sending. I personally pop into the store vs calling when I need to place an order. They are easy to work with a quick description of what I am seeking and the price point I wish to pay. I have always found the quality to be excellent as expressed by the recipients who receive them and the gushing thank you notes I have received. I recently sent flowers to a close friend's mom who turned 80. Sure, flowers from a grocery or Costco would have worked, but the arrangement I sent from Thimbleberry House says something more about the special lady and her special day. I will always return to this flower spot when elegance is what I am seeking to send with flowers.

Before heading out for the concert, which was in Boulder City, I stopped by Tiger Lily to pick up flowers and a card as a little thank you/farewell gift to her. Having known her since I joined the choir in 2014, it was difficult saying goodbye to her. She is moving from a city with a population of 320k to a very small town with a population of around 210. I don't have her house address, so I had placed the order online through their website and had it arranged to be picked up about a week in advance. They have so many flowers and gifts available, but I easily settled on fresh field flowers in white. I scheduled the pickup for 12/13/25 at 3:00pm, which was the main cutoff time for pickup orders - I wanted to get these picked up as close to my concert's call time as possible, which was 5:30pm. When I got there, they were ready in an instant. The lady that helped me out put the flowers in a cardboard box and wrapped it with orange wrapping paper for easy transportation. I noticed that there were a few fake flowers hiding behind the real flowers as well, but they differed from the real flowers. I decided to wait until after the concert to give them to her, and I was lucky that she was running late that night and found a perfect hiding spot for them in our green room. Most people in my choir gave her cards and small gifts, so basically I was the only one that gave her flowers, and she loved them! According to her, she doesn't have a green thumb and does have difficulty keeping plants alive for a long period of time, especially in a dry climate. But I like to think that they'll live for at least a couple of months. Thank you Tiger Lily for providing me with this special gift for an unforgettable occasion. It was definitely worth the price that I paid for.

She did this last year as well and she did it again this year. From the same florist. But this time when they tried to deliver to my house at around 11 AM, I was asleep until about 3 PM. I live in Las vegas and I work in nightlife. I work graveyard hours. I am sleeping when they were trying to call me and so was my friend. Nobody got a hold of me because I was still sleeping. I woke up to 13 missed calls. I think they were trying to contact my friend to see what to do about my order. My friend works in a hospital and she is busy dealing with x-ray machines. She couldn't get a hold of me either. So she said to leave it at the door. The florist told her that if it's outside for an hour, it should be OK. But yet nobody has gotten a hold of me to even know what time I would be opening the door to get the flowers. It is in the middle of August and the current temperature that day was 105°. My friend lives in Edmonton, Canada, which snows half the year. She does not know how hot Las vegas is during August summer. Yes she did tell them to leave them at the door because she did not know what to do She was super busy at work and had to deal with that situation. But as a florist, they should know better than to even leave unattended flowers that's wrapped in paper, not even in a vase with water to be sitting outside in 105° weather not even for 30 minutes! The flowers were sitting out there for over three hours! Imagine if I was having a normal job and I was working till 5 PM or 6 PM. It was a Friday as well. That flower bouquet would've been out there for over six hours. When I got to the door to get the flowers inside the house, it was looking pathetic and the flowers were so soft! As you're touching it, you can literally rip the pedals off if you wanted to easily. The flowers were all wrinkly. What the florist should have done is bring it back to the shop and re-deliver the following day Or messaged me to come pick it up at the flower shop. But instead, they thought it was best to leave my flowers in 105° weather not knowing what time I was going to get the flowers inside the house. I could not believe that they thought that it was a great idea to leave it out there for that long. This experience was tremendously disappointing for me and I was pissed off. It actually ruined my birthday. I was in a bad mood the rest of the day. I called the florist to tell them about my concern about the flowers and how it was extremely unacceptable. They said I could come to the flower shop and pick something out of the fridge instead. When I got to the flower shop, there was maybe four or five options in the fridge when it comes to arranged Flowers. Some more sunflower types. And some more Lily types. I chose the Lily type which came with a pink lily, hydrangea flower, maybe six roses that is random colors and a bunch of other cheap flowers. Along with a lot of greenery. Would I say that it's comparable to what my friend paid for my flowers? And for the delivery I'm sure it was charged? No it was not comparable because she paid for two dozen long stem, white roses plus delivery. What I got in replacement for it is not comparable whatsoever, but I would rather have that than dying flowers. That's been sitting out there for three hours. I feel like they should have replaced my flowers with exactly 2 dozen long stem roses. The worst part of everything was that the florist took no accountability for the situation. They did not once apologize for the mishap. There was no empathy. No remorse no nothing. This floral shop is not professional and I would not recommend this place to anyone ever. And I will make it a point to let my friend know never to order from them again for my birthday. I was so stressed out about the situation all day, and I was very disappointed. My friend felt extremely bad about the whole ordeal. Two thumbs down for this place!
