After a totally disappointing place a few short minutes away was weary of what I was getting as the place was half empty for what should have been prime time dining. Limited menu, Teton Village pricing but overall enjoyable. Beef Tartare was excellent, Salmon as well as Steak Frites were decent. The Brussels Sprouts were good but ridiculous small portions. Great first dinner in Jackson Hole! We made a reservation since it was a Saturday night, but the restaurant was not too busy. We ordered cocktails (one was the huckleberry one, one was the OG, and then an old fashioned), as our waitress told us the bartender was the best in the village. And he did not disappoint! The drinks were amazing! For food, we got the tuna crudo and winter squash soup to start! Both were insanely delicious! For entrees, we had the steak frites, short rib, and salmon with a side of the truffle mac. The salmon and short rib were the highlight! Ended the meal with the bread pudding and affogatos which were also great. Service was lovely and inside was so cute. Definitely recommend and will be back! read more

I want to love this place but it just doesn't quite meet the mark for the overall cuisine and experience you get, as there are so many others options close by offering better options, service, and atmosphere for dining within similar price points. Huge plus, good spot to grab a beverage and relax on the patio and the appetizers are usually pretty good. Having stayed at Gravity Haus for 20+ nights over the last 14 months, I've tried multiple appetizers and dishes. It truly is hit or miss on the same item. While I don't have to have consistency I do expect good flavors, appearance, and customer friendly service. I understand the high degree of staff turnover for this community, however there needs to be better quality control. Wild Pine is a solid 2.5 rating due to atmosphere, beverage offerings, and location factors, which pushes it to 3 on the Yelp scale. I'm not going to go into specifics, as there are a number of pros/cons... the reason I go back is convenience however I find myself walking the short distance to other offerings more often than not. read more

We traveled from Los Angeles to Jackson. I made reservations at this restaurant over a week in advance for my wife's 40th birthday. Nothing crazy, just a table for two for a nice dinner. I booked the reservation through the restaurants preferred booking system, Open Table. A representative of Wild Pine called me the DAY OF OUR RESERVATION, and told me that the restaurant had been bought out for two nights in a row, and Open Table should have never accepted my reservation. They gave me a five hour notice. They left me with no dinner reservations on my wife's 40th birthday. If you value dependability, communication and a company that can keep a reservation, look elsewhere. read more

I nice spot. Apps were decent! But the mains like most restaurants at ski resorts were either grossly ill conceived or lacked inspiration. The lamb ragout was quite literally a culinary abomination. No lamb, pasta drowned in a red sauce that claimed to be Italian in style. My wife could barely touch it. The short rib was adequate, thankfully hadn't dried out sitting in the warming draw for hours since it had been made. Ski restaurants for what they provide for prices they charge need a serious come to Jesus moment IMO! For the money, stick with a burger at the moose. read more

The food and service were absolutely off the hook! We popped in for a few happy hour drinks and ordered some appetizers. Our waiter, Kevin, was so incredible. We ended up ordering one of everything! The après lamb chop is to die for. Like, I wanted to eat 5 of them! The spicy tuna hand roll has a perfect fusion of flavors. The ginger paired well with the lightly spiced tuna on the crispy rice. We hammered the burger (cooked medium was perfection with a nice pink/red center). Chef, Jon (spelling?), killed it with his shishito pepper aioli. If you order the burger off the main menu, beg for him to make you some of this magical aioli. The edamame was so perfectly cooked (not mushy and not raw). The spicy of garlic and salt made me want to lick out the bowl. But this is a classy spot so I refrained. Whatever you do, you MUST eat here!!! read more

The restaurant is modern and we enjoyed the vibe, they have a smaller menu that has an asian influenced taste. The food was good but the service was TOP NOTCH. Big shout out to Kevin, friendly and great conversation with a craft of expanding options on the menu and explaining the theme of the restaurant. He was a game changer. The food I would 3.5 star but the service made it 4 to 4.5. We had the lamb chop, Hamachi and Poke as our appetizers. The Hamachi was good, the lamb was also good but a little over cooked and over "curried" and the tuna was so/so. We hd the ribeye, Lamb meat pasta and vegan curry... all three dinner were good and with just a little more detail could be great. The lamb meat pasta was Luke warm but was so good if it was warm to hot. The Ribeye was good but the Japanese curry with steamed rice was delicious overall we had a nice dinner. One major suggestion would be a better wine selection, that would really enhance the experience and open up more options for drinks read more

It was as if I was dropping my son off to college or leaving the theater after watching the debut of Star Wars. I would do anything to recreate the feeling I had when that desert touched my mouth.
