Love this spot... always busy, best to make a reservation. They have a great blend of asian / fusion.... I had black cod and a cabbage salad... check out their Happy Hour menu, great deals and drinks.

We had the a wonderful meal at The Kitchen. We got a reservation a day or two before for an early dinner. Perks of an early dinner is the happy hour was still going on for some of our drinks and appetizers. Everyone at the table loved their entrees and the plates were clean by the end. Portion sizes were respectable but not huge. If you come with a large appetite after skiing I would recommend getting an appetizer or two and prepare for dessert at the end. The interior of the restaurant was cozy and the staff was friendly. I will be returning on my next trip to Jackson.

Very good. Spontaneous meal, with seating at the counter for two. I tried the duck, which was well done - if a little salty and rich. The sauce was pretty spicy too, certain Thai flavors. My mother went for the salmon, which I found to be uninteresting. But that wasn't my choice, after all. People sat next to us had the pork chop and steak, which looked quite good. Maybe next time... We got there during happy hour but neither of us ordered drinks. We lucked into the 2 for $2 deal, which makes the value worthwhile.

We were 0 for 2 trying to find a place to eat dinner when we were directed here by a local. And what a wonderful recommendation it was. This place was HOPPIN'. I honestly thought we weren't gonna get in. But thankfully there was room in the outdoor seating area, which was quite nice. The weather was perfect. We didn't get to see inside the restaurant, but we still enjoyed our dinner nonetheless. Our service was fast and friendly, and we got great recommendations from our server. And that's all great, but we went there for the food. And the food was outstanding. The drinky drinks were stiff and smooth, and the food... Oh my goodness! The food was amazing. We started with the tempura scromp-scromps (shrimp) appetizer. It was incredible. A perfect crisp and a little spice from the spicy aioli, with a little cabbage to cut the heat. For our main course, my wife enjoyed the wild mushroom ramen, and I had their roasted pork shank. Both were excellent. When she tapped out, I threw some of my remaking pork shank into the ramen to finish it off. Chef's kiss. And then for dessert, our server cleverly enticed us with a dessert menu full of items I desperately wanted to try. Sadly, I was already stuffed, so I agreed to split one item with my wife. And by split, I mean, I think she took one or two bites and I finished the rest because she also was stuffed. I don't usually overheat to the point where I'm completely stuffed, but I did not want to stop eating at The Kitchen. Everything was so incredibly good, I just couldn't leave anything behind. Admittedly, I was hurting a little bit after dinner from overindulgence, but it was the end of the night so we simply walked back to our hotel and relaxed. THAT was an outstanding meal.

Pork chops were delicious. Everything on the plate paired so well together. The salmon crudo was very flavorful. There were some parts that were a bit too salty. I was expecting raw salmon, but I think they used smoked salmon. Either way, it was delicious. The beef tartare didn't taste like anything to me. It was really disappointing.

    Best tofu dish ever!

The tofu dish was the absolute best tofu dish I've ever eaten anywhere! The flavor was incredible! Some kimchi would've been a nice addition. Loved the cilantro Microgreens! The tempura shrimp was good. The steak was just OK. Certainly could have used quite a bit more vegetables. We would've liked more than one leaf of bok choy! The happy hour prices sure were nice.

We enjoyed dining here during our last night in Jackson. The highlights of the meal were the Cabbage Salad and the Salmon and the Caesar Salad was inventive. My husband enjoyed the Coconut Rice Panacotta. The only downside was the duck had the skin left on.

    Lovely plating.

The fried chicken pasta was delicious - the chicken was sooo juicy. The truffle pasta was also really good. Matt works at the bar, and he made the whole experience even better. There wasn't a hostess when we walked in, but he noticed us and got us seated. We also ate at the bar another night and noticed how much he genuinely goes out of his way for everyone. Even if he's not your server, he makes sure you're taken care of. He handles negative situations really well too, even when things like food delays aren't his fault. Super friendly, great attitude, and just naturally good at what he does. Honestly, service at some other places in Jackson Hole has been pretty disappointing, so Matt really stood out and left a great impression on us.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening and dinner…read more Possibly the best ribeye I've had in the past 10 years, but the other "foam and powder"aspects of the dish were just silly. The so called General Tso steak sauce was like a thimbleful smear and completely irrelevant. BBQ Ramen seasoning? Not even enough to get a taste profile of it. The trout with a green curry sauce was good but again, ummmm.... Trout has a subtle flavor. Green curry coconut sauce, and stuffed with another type of Asian something something....might as just as well better to use a neutral tasting fish like a better quality tilapia imho. Let trout taste like trout. Use a different, neutral tasting fish for these kinds of sauces and fillings. Well at least it wasn't covered with a garnish of micro greens lol. Just a little cilantro heh heh heh. I mean don't get me wrong. Both entrees were okay. But a waste of quality fish when a less costly fish would have been fine what with all those other flavors. And the foam and powder embellishments on the steak were barely noticeable. The whole menu reads like a community college cooking school graduate little bit of this little bit of that. When I get home I'm going to have fun writing the different components of all the menu items on index cards, shuffle, and see what combinations come up each time. And I love the idea of a General Tso steak sauce and want to try creating one. And using a packet of Ramen seasoning instead of Cajun seasoning sounds like a fun thing to try. I just won't do it on a fifty dollar piece of meat. If you are counting calories you skip the gross doughnut hole dessert. Dense ball of dough. Gummy. Like they used a cake doughnut recipe instead of a yeast doughnut or beignet recipe. But if not counting calories , go for it. It's fun to try the sauces, even if not that great a doughnut. Great, festive, lively ambiance . Super friendly staff and service.

I had my reservations about the spaghetti due to the egg on top, but when you mix it in, it adds to much flavor! And there is no red sauce on the spaghetti. The smores dessert is served hot and bubbly but didn't have as much flavor. The tiramisu was to die for! Definitely recommend it! The afgotta would have been better with alcohol in the coffee. Taking advice from a local, we decided to try something new and were so impressed that halfway through our first meal, we promptly booked a second night. The atmosphere is chic but warm, with personable staff and an ambitious chef and team. Our server Chris took excellent care of us both nights, remembering us, demonstrating a deep knowledge of the menu, and offering thoughtful suggestions. Over the course of two evenings, we also met Chef Hugo and Matt, the General Manager. The French-leaning menu is driven by local ingredients with an emphasis on quality and sourcing. The cocktails are innovative, and we appreciated the sommelier's advice on wine pairings. For entrees, we especially enjoyed the bison and venison that showcased the wild game with creative but restrained accompaniments. For smaller plates, we also recommend the quail, beef tartare, red cabbage, and parsnip soup. All the elements on the plate -- proteins, grains, produce, and sauces -- were deliberate and properly cooked and seasoned. Several dishes would feel at home on the menus of critically acclaimed restaurants. We're impressed by what Chef Hugo and his team are creating and will look forward to returning when we come back through town.

Took a special friend and stayed at the Rusty Paratte Lodge and spa, which by the way was spectacular! Made a reservation for the first night at wild Sage thinking it was easy spot and looked pretty good. It was also our first night with a late afternoon arrival and an hour and a half Massage so I wasn't in the mood to be walking around town in the cold. Boy were we impressed. From the initial pallet cleanser, to the appetizers, to the pre-meal, to the mail, to the dessert essentially every bite was incredible. Only negative comment would' be that the Seabass came out a little bit dry from the kitchen. Looked incredible but tasted dry. The service was spectacular. Wonderful gentleman who helped make our evening memorable. And their wine smaller was equally as personable. Turns out they had a seven course tasting dinner two nights later for Valentine's Day. We immediately canceled our existing reservation and rebooked for Wild Sage. Two nights later, during their tasting event, which came with wine pairings for each of the seven courses, we had the Chef stop by our table several times. Good looking young 40-year-old chef who knew his menu and the ingredients backwards and forwards. He had hand selected and sourced every ingredient from sustainable sourced resources. He had really gone out of his way to make it a special meal for everybody, all seven courses. When in Jackson hole, if you're looking for best class environment, food and service the wild sage is your best choice. Hands-down. Oh, and they have a killer sit-up bar area, which had that fun local vibe, and served absolutely the best hamburger in town. 5 stars. Enjoy!
