This was recommended to us by our hotel (Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa) and we were very glad we listened. We had dinner here the last night of our trip and it was the best way to close out our time here in Wyoming. It is easily one of our top 5 meals ever. What we had: -Fleeting Smile Zero Proof drink, delicious, and iced tea with simple syrup to sweeten -Meatballs alla Nonna - the meatballs themselves were fantastic, and the red sauce tasted a lot like MY homemade red sauce! We were very happy with this, to say the least. -Salumi & Formaggi - favorite meat and cheese plate we've ever had. Everything was perfectly selected and paired together on the board. Could not have been more pleased. -Charred broccolini - cooked perfectly to a bright and vibrant color, accompanied by a spicy Calabrian chili aioli. I feel like I always need something green with my dinner and this was an excellent addition to the table. -Rye Cavatelli - great chew on the fresh cavatelli. I watched the PBS spotlight on Glorietta and Wyoming Heritage Grains a few days prior and it made it all the more meaningful to order this dish and taste the hard work and care that goes into the flour and the pasta. And the elk bolognese was wonderful, too, with salty chunks of meat throughout. -Prime NY Strip - if a steak could melt in your mouth. And the additions of the porcini butter and the vincotto pushed it to another level. Spectacular. -Duck breast with creamy polenta, grilled carrots, and balsamic reduction - I have no words. My first bite with a bit of the polenta stopped me dead in my tracks and I had a visceral reaction. A transcendental food moment. It was rich beyond belief; I had no idea duck breast could be like this. Still blown away thinking about it. -Espresso (local coffee!) served with biscotti, and s'mores (graham blondie, smoked ganache, honey meringue), which was absolute bliss and surprisingly not too heavy All in all, a fabulous, romantic, elevated dining experience. Huge thanks to Chef Remle and his whole team. *** One last thing: the service. Food came out in a timely manner and drinks were refilled. But neither of us liked our server. He was simply not engaged with us. We told him it was our 30th wedding anniversary and he offered us free prosecco, but when I said we didn't drink, that was the end of that. We don't expect free things. Really. But it was a bit off-putting that if we said no to free alcohol, specifically, that the offer was entirely retracted. It seemed like he was very distracted by a larger party in his section and was giving them all of his attention, so maybe that is why he seemed disconnected. But he also didn't seem to understand any of my comments or small jokes and we had to repeat ourselves in every interaction. He tried to be "nice" but it came off as disingenuous. It was a relatively small cloud over an otherwise amazing experience. The food was so incredibly good that I won't even let it bring my review down to 4 stars. Still, I had to mention it. If we go back and he is still working there, we will definitely request to be seated with someone else. read more

Glorietta comes highly recommended from my research of "best" restaurants in Jackson and I understand why! We were lucky enough to get last minute seating at the bar - likely because it was a Monday night. We walked here from our hotel (Cloudveil) which only took 5-7 minutes. It's a quaint restaurant that keeps it's mountain town essence as the space is a converted home with an outdoor patio facing the quiet neighborhood street. While the food is elevated it doesn't feel pretentious and maintains a laid back local's feel despite alot of tourists stopping by. While we love cocktails and were impressed with the menu, we were in a wine mood. They have a petite selection of wines by the glass but there's plenty of bottles to choose from. For appetizers we were in the mood for light and refreshing, so the bartender recommended the caesar salad with fresh anchovies. It was perfect for us to share and we loved it. He also mentioned the pasta was house made, so we knew we had to try it. We ordered the fusilli which was so flavorful in spite of being a very simple dish. Our neighbors sitting next to us ordered it first and said it was some of the best they've ever had and they're from NY and have high standards. For our main entree we shared the trout which is from Idaho. I am not that familiar with trout and always forget it's not a white fish but similar to salmon in looks (pink in color) and taste. We really enjoyed it. Lastly, we usually always say no to desert but when in Jackson! The house made panna cotta was perfection - not too sweet. We wanted a nice meal for the last evening of our trip and this place was the perfect spot. We almost didn't go, because there was no availability all night on Open Table, but we decided to just walk in and they had plenty of tables to choose from. We started our meal with the crostata - the whipped ricotta was very tasty. We followed that with the classic Caesar, which was more than enough for 4 people to share. For my entree, I got the fusilli gigante, which was excellent. Good flavor and just the right amount of spice. It was a place we had to make a reservation for in advance, and we wish we probably would've made a reservation earlier than a week out because most options were filled. Nonetheless, it was definitely worth it. The menu had some amazing options and though we were sad they were out of the bison steak, we loved our meals. I had the rabbit leg and it was fantastic. Amazing flavor and cooked to perfection. The steak we had caused our other two friends to order their own because it was delicious. The restaurant is this cozy high-end style that feels clean, sharp, and intimate. Our server was very kind, and we appreciated the chef's fantastic meals. There are too many good things to name! The experience here contained all the elements one would expect from fine dining. A helpful hostess, knowledgeable table service, a full bar utilizing local ingredients to mix the perfect craft cocktails (the sesame western was delightful!). The menu options included a rich selection of pastas, proteins, and vegetables, each intentionally crafted to create the perfect bite. The restaurant itself almost seemed to betray its culinary elegance with an aire of western saloon styling. Yet, the contrast dissolved upon the immersion into the menu. We had three "Per la Travola" and "Antipasti" followed by a few Primi and Secondi. The crostini was a perfectly toasted slice of baguette with a pillow of sweet and nutty ricotta. Amazing! From the "Primi" selections, the Casarecce was perfection. The dish had just the right mixture of crunch to accentuate the delicate firmness of the pasta, and the boldness of the pesto. Other standout dishes were the grilled rabbit leg, and grilled cabbage. Both quite unique, and remarkable. However, the highlight of the night, in my humble opinion, was the Fusilli Gigante, and the Grilled Broccolini. The later came with a spicy Calabrian aioli, which was wonderful. In terms of drink, their specialty old-fashioned equivalent contained a nice local sage flourish that really added to each sip. And of course no proper dining experience would be complete without a dessert... the tiramisu and affogato left us all quite satisfied. Can't recommend enough. Everything was amazing! This was our favorite spot to eat in Jackson! The spaghetti was fresh and flavorful. I had my reservations about the spaghetti due to the egg on top, but when you mix it in, it adds to much flavor! And there is no red sauce on the spaghetti. The bread was good, the charred edges gave it flavor. Definitely tasted home made. The Panna cotta was very good but it was more thick like flan. It was also a very large portion. The smores dessert is served hot and bubbly but didn't have as much flavor. The tiramisu was to die for! Definitely recommend it! The afgotta would have been better with alcohol in the coffee. The burrata salad was very fresh and flavorful. The Caesar salad is not shown but it was delicious and very large. You are able to share this with several people at the table. Service was great! Everyone was kind and friendly. If you are in a large party they include the 20% tip and they will not split up the check. So not very group friendly. The ambiance is dark and romantic. Excellent food and drink service. We sat at the bar. The drinks were excellent and the bartenders were very attentive servers. We got a few things and shared. It is sort of tapas style and goes nice if you decide to eat family style. The entrees are sort of medium sized portions, so, in most cases if you share with one person you should get 2-3 dishes. If you have a light appetite, though, one of the pastas would be plenty for you. We got the Caesar salad, the elk bolganaise, and the short rib. Everything was good. They made me a couple standard Old Fashioneds different than the menu option, which were excellent. It was a new Rye to me so I took a picture of the bottle to get some at home. Prices were on the high side, but service and quality were good. My drink was $22 which, frankly was a little obscene for an Old Fashioned with a "mid-range" rye, but I was on vacation and I still had a 2nd. LOL. It was great. It's just a lot for a drink. If you want to go over the top, they also have a Tomahawk steak for $126 that I'm sure is excellent. A lot of folks were getting the bone marrow which looked good. Entrees seemed to be around $30 each. I would go back. I liked sitting at the bar and talking to people. A situation came up during our visit that could have been handled professionally and easily, but unfortunately Fernando Gonzalez handled it very poorly. The communication and overall response left us frustrated and made an already disappointing situation significantly worse. I understand that issues happen in restaurants, and I generally judge a place more by how they respond to a problem than by the problem itself. In this case, the way it was handled fell well below what I would expect from a restaurant with Glorietta's reputation. There are a lot of great restaurants in Jackson and Jackson Hole, and based on this experience, Glorietta would not be one I would recommend or return to. read more

Yum yum yum! I have nothing but positive things to say abot Glorietta! To start off, I am a sucker for a matchbook and they had some so that did get me instantly excited for our meal! We made a Saturday night reservation and it was a spectacular evening. Our waitress was just nicest person ever and the atmosphere of this restaurant was beautiful. The candlelight was perfect. We all got some drinks to start of which they had a fantastic selection to pick from. We got some appetizer to start including the himachi, the burrata and the olives. The himachi was delicious and so was the burrata but I have to admit my favorite were the olives. I love olives but they had such a great selection and super delicious. For my entree, I shared the cassarecci and the fussili both of which were amazing. The sauces on both of these were so well done and I loved the slight spice on the fussilli and not to mention there were generous portions! Of course we had to get some dessert so we had the panna cotta, the gelato and the tiramisu. The strong coffee flavor of the gelato was to die for and the panna cotta was just a perfect balance with the sweet cream but the tiramisu was the icing on the cake for me. Heard great things about Glorietta Trattoria so booked it when visiting Jackson Hole this weekend. It did not disappoint. First, it's located in what was a killer old house in downtown. Open style kitchen and a gathering waterhole type bar. Note: the seats at the bar reserve faster than the tables. After seeing the insides I can see why. Simply amazing. Our waitress knew the menu front to back with all the nuances. When we asked what some of her favorites were. She literally rattled off 1/2 the menu. Menu is not over sized, on purpose. Every dish is well thought out and executed to perfection. Note #2: the Ceasar Salad is enough for 2 or more! And it's fantastic. About the only thing I could suggest to be better here is if management had pre-printed "Cowboy hat etiquette" cards to hand out to the patrons who arrive with hats. Lots of hats. Not a lot of true understanding for Cowboy Hat etiquette. From casual to formal, hats are off while sitting and dining. Highly recommend Glorietta Trattoria. Lovely upscale Italian restaurant tucked away behind the Anvil hotel. Once you're inside you almost forget where you are. I could have easily walked out and thought I was in the city, it felt so authentic inside. Wonderful attentive service and loud, lively atmosphere. Dishes were delicious The Caesar is large enough for 4 or more! The papardelle was ok, I'd skip and choose a different pasta next time. It was a little lackluster. Winter greens were topped with crispy breadcrumbs and beautifully seasoned, one of my favorite bites. Finished with tiramisu and affogato, which were both good as well. Overall a wonderful meal in a nice dim lit setting that could easily feel like nyc or Nashville and then you pop out to the icy cold mountains in the background-pretty excellent find here in Jackson Hole! Had a wonderful dinner at Glorietta's! Totally influenced by TikTok ... and so glad I was! This Italian spot in Jackson Hole is super popular, so I made our reservation three weeks early. The only option left was the bar, but when I called the day we arrived, Bernadette was so kind and helped us switch to a table since we had our teen daughter. We waited about 15 minutes since it was a busy Saturday, but it was worth it! Our waitress, Solemei, was wonderful , she gave great recommendations, and everything was delicious. The spicy vodka pasta was amazing, and the Caesar salad was crisp and flavorful. The Lark's Meadow Raclette (focaccia with pancetta & leeks) was such a hit! My husband loved his Bison Teres Major, cooked perfectly and paired with cherries and arugula, and our teen's Spaghetti with leeks, mushrooms, mascarpone, and a poached egg was unique and tasty. I also had the espresso martini ...it was okay, but the food was definitely the highlight! So, this restaurant was one of the ones that stuck out to us when we were trying to find a cute NYE dinner spot while visiting Jackson Hole. I deducted a star because the prices were equivalent to Italian restaurants in New York so on the very pricey side. Food was pretty good but I wouldn't say it was the best Italian restaurant I've been to. When we arrived, we were given an option to either wait 45 min or be seated at the bar. It was a very cold December night so we elected to sit at the bar. Thankfully, the bartender was very nice and not in our faces the entire time so we were able to enjoy our meal. Everyone and their mom's were ordering espresso martinis so we joined the bandwagon and did the same. The most shocking part was that it was $19 for 1! Which means we spent $40 on two drinks when we could've easily spent it on the food. (Hence the NYC prices). The food was pretty good, though. We got the burrata which was SO yummy but you can't really go wrong with burrata. We got the fusilli gigante which was very good, it came with a spicy vodka sauce. Also ordered the spaghetti which was actually not a red sauce and it was good, as well. Overall, we appreciated that they were heavy on the pasta sauces and the portion sizes were decent. She was very competent at explaining the food and answering any questions we had. For appetizers we ordered the crostini and bone marrow. The crostini was a perfect blend of textures with a delicious flavoring. The bone marrow was also very good, providing some great flavor to the bread that came with it. We also got an off-menu mocktail they recommended, some smoky and pineapple and sweet, absolutely delicious. For mains we had the bison, fusilli, and braised greens. All were great. The fusilli had a unique sour taste at the beginning and a pleasant amount of spice. The bison was good, a bit sweeter than standard beef. And the braised greens were a tasty way to add some veggies to the meal. We had the chocolate budino and panna cotta for dessert. The panna cotta was a bit too gelatinous for our tastes. TLDR: One of my favorite spots in Jackson! Really delicious food and my pasta was INCREDIBLE. Service was quick and upscale. Only thing is that the restaurant didn't feel cozy in the winter -- I kept my big coat on since we were seated by the door and a gust of wind could come in at any moment. ------ FOOD: 1. [MUST TRY] Cassarecci (5/5) - The best pasta dish I've had in Jackson. The pasta itself is cooked perfectly, and this dish comes with delicious bits of sausage and kale to balance out the carbs from the pasta. The sage and ricotta weren't overpowering flavors and they complemented the dish nicely. I can't believe I forgot to take a picture of it! 2. Prime NY Strip (5/5) - I don't even like steak but this medium rare steak was done beautifully. Not too tough, great balance of lean mean and fat, and the truffle butter was a great touch. I loved this. 3. Braised Winter Greens (5/5) - So much flavor, a fantastic side. Get this and thank me later. 4. Meatballs (5/5) - Delicious meatballs where you can tell they use high quality meat. Very well seasoned. 5. Sturgeon (4/5) - The real star of this dish was the sauce and the beans, which soaked up all the flavor from the dish and just felt hearty and nourishing. The fish was tender but had a bit of a fishy taste which is why it wasn't a 5/5. 6. Classic Caesar (4/5) - Huge portion size. A little heavier on the dressing so beware if you're not a big dressing person. Delicious homemade croutons that are really crunchy. 7. Giardiniera & Olives (4/5) - Great appetizer to open the palette We also got the butternut squash soup, burrata, and citrus salad, but I didn't personally try them so I haven't rated them. That being said, those individuals cleared their plates so I'm sur they were good as well! The marinated citrus salad was a small portion size. ------ SERVICE: * I thought service was good and the appetizers came out quickly. Main courses took a little longer and they actually served two of us before the other two's entrees were ready, but that's not an end all be all * They wiped down the table in between apps and entrees, which was a nice touch * At the end they asked us if we wanted dessert and when we passed, they already had the check pre-dessert ready. ------ ENVIRONMENT / AMBIANCE: * It's a cute little restaurant tucked into a side street of Jackson. Parking on the street and in back. * The restaurant is dimly lit so it's a more intimate vibe * My only suggestion would be to turn up the heat so it's cozier inside and so everyone will take off their coats and jackets.
