I've lived in Fresno since 1999 and actually came here for the first time in 2022. Our realtors threw a client appreciation event here. You have to pay for parking in a dirt lot with no shade. My husband and I were actually self conscious about being in a bathing suit, but once we saw everyone here, we calmed down. I'd probably only come here for events. My husband and I do not have any children and it seems this Waterpark had nothing, but families. My favorite part was the wave pool, however, too many people for me. I would prefer a lazy river instead and wild waters doesn't have that. We did the mats because I didn't care to go on any other ride, it was hot and my back hurt. It was alright. I got stuck a few times. I checked out the gift shop and it seriously needed an upgrade. I also wish I would have brought a hat and my own food and drinks. I liked the Tiki Bar the best because it had margaritas. The lockers were small. My husband and I each had to get a locker for our things. Overall, I realized that water parks are just not my cup of tea. I'd rather be at Universal or Disneyland. read more

Spent over $200 on a cabana rental, spent $12 on parking, spent $50 a person to get in, definitely not worth the money. The bathrooms were nasty dirty and stunk so bad. The food looked really good on the website so we really didn't bring our own food in except for snacks for the kids. I ordered a hamburger and it was just a bun and a beef patty and cheese. The pretzel I ordered was hard as a rock. For the amount of money you spend getting in the park, it just wasn't worth what you get. If I ever go back, I'll definitely bring my own food. The park really needs to hire someone to clean the bathrooms throughout the day and hire more waiters for the cabana area. Our waiter was nice but we didn't see him very often. Very disorganized!!! Fun spot but no lazy river and completely disorganized. Gives links for registration, but assumes people know you should show up in person to do that, which is ridiculous because that is not how any registration in 2022 works. Also i called during that time 5 times and no one even picked up. Customer service acts like theyre doing you a favor instead of beibg season pass holders. The rides are redundant and the operations make no sense. Rides closed random days, open the next. Rented a $135.00 cabana. Staff didn't have a clue as to how to check them out. Had around 8 people standing around and one person working. When we finally got to our Cabana, it was disgusting. Ground and table covered in trash, food, and nacho cheese. This is early in the season. Don't want to know how bad it will look later this summer. read more

The water park is great, the only problem is the girl who serves the food at the food court. She wears a blue shirt and has lashes. she threw our food mine and my kids and has a bad attitude and has dyed hair. Bad experience. I do not recommend to eat here because the teenagers are rude. read more

It's extremely dirty...my 2 year old wouldn't even walk in the bathroom because of how nasty the floors are, no toilet seat covers and actual feces smeared on the stall wall. It doesn't take much to have the bathrooms checked and cleaned hourly. The life guards are extremely rude. You aren't allowed to ask when the waves come on or the time period between wave breaks...you'll be cut off with "don't know!" And a shoulder shrug. I got yelled at by a lifeguard for helping my 2 year old down the slide on the pirate ship...I had seen other parents helping the babies go down and seen no sign saying I couldn't go up and help my baby up the stairs to the slide. "No parents on the infrastructure!!!" It was quite embarrassing. I drove 2 hours to visit and paid for everything prior online, so checking in and parking was simple, but when I went to purchase food I was turned away because I had my husbands debit card, easy fix let me go to the ATM, I walked from food court to gift shop, atm was broke they said. So I walked outside the park to the working atm...nope. You need an ID to match the debit card at the atm too. So I was out of luck. I had 12$ cash so my 5 year old and 2 year old shared a pretzel and dip n dots (which only 2 flavors were available) I decided I'd wait to eat when we leave so my babies could enjoy more time in the park. We went to eat our pretzel on our reserved table that we reserved the night before online...it was so dirty/sticky, it looked like someone had just spilled a slushee on it. So I go back to the counter and ask if I can get some help cleaning it or if I can just have a wet rag to clean it up myself. The guy at the pretzel counter said they didn't have rags and handed me 2 napkins. So we just sat there and didn't use our 10$ table. We decided to leave when a kid repeatedly kept pushing my son down the slide, even with lifeguard 2 feet away it kept happening because the lifeguards were busy talking and not watching the children. I didn't want to get into it with the other mom so we just left. My 5 year old did enjoy the wave pool and the kiddie slides though. The place has potential, the staff just needs to be friendly and bathrooms need to kept up, I know if we ever return that I will need to bring my cash lol Also.....the cotton candy machine is broken, and according to staff has never worked. Not worth it. This park has made enough money over the years that it could really improve the park. No signs or instructions on where to go what you need who's allowed etc. The first attraction we attempted was the set of 4 slides that you need a mat to ride on. When I was a kid there used to be a stack of them easy to see grab and go. This trip, no sign, no help from lifeguards where to obtain these mats. Turns out people don't relinquish them and it's not enforced so good luck getting a turn. The family Rapids ride has got to be the most ridiculous. I know this park can find a way to get these huge rafts up a hill instead of forcing people who just stood in the sun for an insane amount of time walk them up. A mom and her teenage son couldn't do it. And if so too bad so sad. Then you wait until it's your turn carried this huge raft uphill just to be told your 1 too many like in our case or the family behind us one kid was too small. The Orca Lagoon cabanas are not worth it. They are little ovens next to the pool. No breeze, just hot hot hot. They also never get cleaned, spider webs everywhere. The orca area could be nice but just like everywhere else in the park major portions of it are shut down/taped off/out of service. The blue wave pool is so cloudy. Pretty scary having the mix of tubes and no tubers in the water especially with kids. They easily can get trapped in a scary situation when the waves start. No up front explanation on what rides do and dont need tubes. Food line didnt move and not another option. I could go on and on. The good was the majority of the staff were kind and pleasant. Preferred parking is the way to go. Even though we were misled by the cash only parking signs they did take card. Getting our bags and ice chest checked were pretty quick and painless. The staff doing the gate and bags were really good. The cabana check in girl was a real turd. Small late teens dirty blonde medium length hair kinda grungy. I was the only person in line less than 3 feet from her and her coworker kept telling her I was waiting there and she could care less. read more

Great park for kids. But but but Two adult ladies past their youth with alcohol . Didn't care to hide the fact they we're drunk and high. So, a Pregnant woman fully ready to give broth any moment with a g string on. Many men adults with hairy fat belly's in kids pool. For god sake this is a kids park people act your age and dress appropriate. Moderate clothing is needed for a park full of kids. Wear your G string at home ladies. You left nothing to the imagination. Put Bible scriptures all over the park. That should help. And god saw that Adam and Eve was naked. Adam says I am naked lord. Eve said why do I even bother to wear any clothes. My goodness. Send the churches in to pray for this G stringers. It is to expensive Park of Water. Today my son and his friends went to the park. They recommended they get a cabana and they would need no lockers due to security being around. At around 4-5pm they had all their items stolen back packs , 4 iPhones , car keys and wallets. Security then said the cameras we not functioning properly not even trying to attempt to find out what happened. Closes thing to Roeding park in Fresno. Unless you have your own security it seems as if the staff there is part of the theft. Update no private message was sent and their own staff recommended the cabanas over the lockers read more

I absolutely love this place! It's literally the best water park I have ever been to! The value is incredible! I've been coming here since I was a kid and it was called Clovis Lakes. It is the very definition of value priced amazing family fun. I always rent a cabana and the kids have such a blast. I would rather spend a family day here that go to those rip off theme parks where you have to wait in line for hours and spend a ridiculous amount of money. My pro tips for this park. Get a cabana. If you love to grill, get a cabana with a BBQ. Also, pack an ice chest with all the water, soda and food you need! If you want they also have great food and snacks/ice cream! They even have a shop to buy things you might have forgot...like swim wear, ice, charcoal, lighter fluid. They even sell cool water proof phone cases for only $20 so you can enjoy all the water and take your phone with you. We just spent all day there and stayed for the fireworks....its an amazing show at night. I know this review sounds like I'm being paid to give it, but I'm not. Just want people to know how awesome this family oriented place is! If you are looking for an amazing water park to build some memories....just go! What a treasure this place is! Had a great time at the park, yes some of the slides had long lines but I think most parks that have any attractions are going to have long lines that's just part of visiting anywhere that has rides/slides. I will say though if you rent your own tube it cuts down in the wait time. They accepted credit cards for parking & for tube rentals with no issues. The water was so refreshing and definitely helped keep cool, but as the day went on and areas filled up with more people the water began to fell warm, but the mushroom area stayed cold the entire time and was nice to cool off immediately. Adventure bay has a few steps to take to enter the area please be very careful there are no signs anywhere warning that these stairs are very slippery whether you have shoes on or not. My brother was walking holding my 3month old son & he slipped and banged the back of his head on the concrete luckily my baby was ok as my brother took on the fall and kept my baby safe. My brother scrapped his arms, back, and his head had a light bleed. We witnessed other people slip and fall too. I'm surprised they don't add anti slip safety tape (which we did recommend when we reported the fall). read more

Rented a cabana by the wave pool. We were supposed to have a waitress but she only got us 1 drink and made excuses that she was busy. So we got ignored the whole time and had to go to the tiki bar. False advertisement!! States it's the largest park in the state but has very few tall slides, the rapids ride is very poor out together you have to carry float yourself up a huge hill the. Have to "not sit on your butt" when going down or your stuck. The kiddie pool area was murky. No places to sit unless you pay an arm and a leg. My 8 year old fold " a balloon " in the drain in the kiddie area. IT WAS A USED CONDOM!!!! Food way over priced as well. This is a disgusting not well kept money trap. And no lazy river. Don't waste your money here, it's not worth what they charge and you'll be bitter. First and last time here. The vendors don't take credit cards and the ATM is a mile away. Genius level planning here. I can appreciate a shrewd business move because they'll make more off the ATM fee and won't have to pay a credit card percentage but this is just idiotic. I purposely didn't buy anything from here out of principle. What a miser way to run a business - bad look for first and last time customers. I was kicked out of a chair in an open shelter because you apparently have to pay to sit anywhere where's there's shade. I've never had such a bad experience at a place that's supposed to be fun. Such a fun place to take the family for a fun day! In the Central Valley the heat is so intense! Wild waters offers a great way to deal with the heat. The rides are really fun! I am very disappointed this summer about the whole Parking ordeal I had. The young kids they have working there want you to park door to door with the other vehicles. We are not all the same size. Some of us require more room then others to get in and out of their car. Who's responsible if your car is damaged ?? It's ridiculous. I spoke to Thomas and he was so rude and just argued with me. Unfortunately I did buy season passes and my kids love to come here but this will be my last year giving this park my business. I filed a complaint a week ago and still have not heard back from no one. Who is running the park here ?? No managers are available to help handle a complaint your dealing with kids. It's really a shame that they didn't take the winter to repaint, repair and otherwise get their park up to par. There is no reason the kids slides should be down and full of dirty stagnant water. There's no reason anything in the kids area should have tape across it to keep kids off because they don't have maintenance. The food was great last year so we came ready to eat in the park - but wow. Even the food went down hill. Take a minute to collect yourselves and reinvest in the park. I'll be back to update this review accordingly. I left three stars instead of two because despite the floating bandaids, the water seemed decently clean and the kids still had fun even though they were hungry from the food being sub par. read more

A family friendly fun water park. The season passes are an amazing value, especially for a family. We love popping in for a couple of hours a couple times a week. When you buy a season pass you don't feel like you have to stay for hours on end to get your money's worth & parking is included with the season pass too. Our kids love going down the water slides, doing the lily pads in the kids section, and jumping in the wave pool. Some of the slides have deff and often not every slide or attraction is open. The fireworks shows in the summer are really great. We highly recommend this water park and we already bought our passes for next year. read more

We like taking the kids to a water park in the summer. We usually go with family and friends so all the kids can get together. But our visit to Wild Water Adventure this past summer was a family trip for just us four. We had the opportunity to come check this place out as a family because our daughter received free entry to the park as a reward for selling Girl Scout cookies this year. This is not a huge water park like Hurricane Harbor. It's smaller but the kids had a blast when we went. Admission fees are also cheaper. We found the park to be clean. You may opt to rent a cabana or use any picnic table or picnic area free of charge on a first come, first served basis. There's plenty of parking. You may opt to purchase preferred parking when available to park closer to the gate. Plenty of picnic grounds. There's a volleyball court. They also have 3 lakes where you can go fishing. I like the way the restrooms and dressing rooms are set up. The dressing room area is away from the restrooms so it was kept dry and clean. Showers are outside so it also kept the bathrooms from flooding. This park allows you to bring outside food and drinks. Just keep in mind the No Glass policy so bring your food and drinks in plastic containers. You may use BBQ grills and cook at the park. Availability is on a first come, first served basis as well. We really had a great time when we went and found the staff there to be friendly and helpful. Customer service can be improved but not bad. Our overall experience turned out good so we will be back! read more

2 hours after opening time and the largest attraction is still closed. There is no clear answer why, and management has been of no assistance. We also rented a cabana online in which they were unable to accommodate, even though the company was at fault, they still forced us to pay an additional fee because their system was down and we weren't "properly charged." It has been a constant tug and pull with management, and it continuously gets worse each time. They need to reform their management. read more

Great time today here at the park. It's Family Day for the Employee's and it's been pretty awesome! We've ridden some rides and have eaten at the bb-q pits, listened to some good music. It's been a great relaxing afternoon. It's a great way to spend w/family. We brought in coolers w/our own food & drinks which saved a ton of money. I highly suggest bringing in a wagon if you have one so it'll carry all of your stuff or it's a long walk w/out one. Also another suggestion is to not bring your best flip flops bcuz they may get stolen at one of the poolsides. Bring pairs you don't care about. Really upset about the ants in the parking lot. Walked to our car and was swarmed. Just left the park and will probably stopping at urgent care. Having an allergic reaction. All 4 of us were bit over 100x each in a matter of seconds. Ants are located by the port a potties. Paid 10$ to park up from and be attacked by red ants. :/ Really ruined our day. I went with my family almost every year growing up to Wild Waters. I believe it used to be called Clovis Lakes. Anyhow I am now a mother of four children (2yr-12yrs) and I love this place still. This year was our first actual year buying season passes for the summer. We have already been twice. Pros: Season passes are really beneficial if you plan on going more than twice. Savings in price and cuts down line time (first time takes a while cause you get issued a card with your picture)to get in which can get quite long on the weekends especially. Not to mention no parking fees, you can access the park 15mins before it opens (grab a good seat), and if I am not mistaken you may get a discount on cabana rentals. (If not you really should - hint hint #wildwaters) Theres a lot of shade. This weekend I didnt enter until about 30mins after the park opening and we got enough seating at the big wave pool which was fine. The employees are great. Every single person I came in contact with were very family friendly and professional. The lifeguards are constantly attentive, stepping in quite often as the pile of kids continued to grow as the day went on. Its clean. Bathrooms, seating areas, etc. No cleanliness issues. Water felt great. Food and drink prices are reasonable. The fair charges more. The tiki bar has beer and mixed drinks for sale (show your id so you get a wristband)- Draft beer was 5.50 I believe. My margarita was 7.50- really not that bad. You can bring in your own food and drinks (no glass). I recommend fruit! You can bbq at a bbq pit located by the tables (they fill up fast, and I was confused as to what HAS to be rented and what was available to use) Child life jackets readily available without having to leave a deposit THANK YOU THANK YOU #wildwaters Cons: Not all of the snack bars were open which seemed crazy with the amount of people who were there saturday and sunday. Maybe staffing issues? Maybe repairs? Matt slides were down- BOTH KIDDIE AND REGULAR SLIDES. Honestly we were disappointed not knowing this until we've already committed our summer here. Don't get me wrong there's other rides - my family just uses the hell out of these slides. I hope they are back up soon! Tube Rentals- not that they are incredibly expensive but I wish the season pass holders got SOME benefit towards these. To go often the price does add up. It would be so nice to have a discounted rate or a freebie rental once or twice a month (hint hint #wildwaters) Well thats it.
