The boat showed a little wear and tear, but was generally in good shape. Fun boat. Zippy. A jet boat is a good idea on Echo Lake, which has shallow spots. Shockwave hauls the boat to your preferred location, puts it in and takes it out. Easy for you. Our boat was put in on time and taken out on time. Staff was courteous. No problems. If I were going out on Flathead Lake, or if the water was choppy, I'd prefer something in at least the 20' range, but a lot of people like these little scooters.

I decided to widen my search to all of Flathead Valley and was a little disappointed when I had a message that said their machines were down and if I left a message they would get back to me... I left a message doubtful that anyone would ever get back to me. Less than 10 minuets later they returned my phone and confirmed they had 2 jetskis available. They also delivered to Whitefish at no extra cost!! 2 hours after we called them they had 2 2014 sparks in the water fueled up with extra gas (so you don't have to pay the $8 a gallon at the marina)!! It was a little more expensive than another place I called but they were unavailable and only had 8 hours instead of 10. Boy did we have fun! When we went to pay for fuel after (you pay the difference for the rentals and the tanks he brings) we were charged pump rates. Very exited for this new business in the Valley and I wish them all the best of luck! They also have an assortment of towables as options with the jetskis.

They were closest to the vacation home that we rented for the week in Somers and delivered the boat right to our docks! I was very pleased with the quality of their boats, particular their 24' pontoon. The pontoon was in great condition, unlike many rental companies using run down equipment. We also rented their smaller boat the day before and it was also above average, ran very smoothly and was nicely cleaned and well kept. Their customer service is impeccable- friendly, happy, and grateful. Prices were comparable and somewhat cheaper than most places. They also do long term rentals at a special rate. We will definitely rent from them again soon.

Bill is extremely knowledgable of the area; how the lake, mountains and islands came to be, wildlife etc, plus his personality made this a true local experience (he has been doing this for 20 yrs!). We wanted to see the lake, the wild horses and do some hiking without large crowds or hassle and we got it here plus some.He even took us to see some Tribal markings and told us the history behind it - incredible. My fiancé and I hiked for hours on the secluded Wild Horse Island and saw bucks, bald eagles, doe, sheep, rams and of course gorgeous wild horses!! The fact that we were the only people on the island was a plus, all animals roaming free and no people. Very few of the gauges worked, some of the seats were torn, and there were random wires hanging off the side of the boat when we first got in it. Overall, I don't feel that the price we paid for the boat rental and the tube was justified given the poor condition of the boat. It was also very underpowered and not very responsive, so we couldn't get very far in the boat, although I'm not docking any stars for that. It was just a bummer. We also didn't get underway until 30 minutes after our reservation time since it took a while to get the boat in the water and setup. This didn't matter too much since we returned the boat earlier than expected since it wasn't a very fun experience.

Everything was in working order and we have no concerns. We covered a large portion of the North end of the lake and River with the kids and parents all having fun. As locals we will be back. Which was accomplished after reviving the fish by rushing water through its gills. I doubt that I will ever experience a day of fishing like this again in my life. This was my 6th trip with Howe's fishing. I have never caught less then three fish. In fact Captain Cameron and I have caught 8, 12, 16 and today 20 fish on our last 4 trips. Howe's might be a little more expensive then other charter companies in the Flathead Valle. They have the best captains, fishing gear, boats then ANYONE else. "Don't step over a dollar to pick up a quarter", the same goes to fishing. Trust me, pictures do not lie.
