My great niece was christened today and our original plan was to eat at Copper River however, they messed up our reservation. Thankfully Wild Wings quickly accommodated our lunch party of 12. We were seated quickly and our waitress was nice. Although I am thankful for the accommodations...there was something wrong with the A/C because it was SO hot in the building!!!! It was uncomfortable. I know that having a large party can be daunting...but our food came out in a decent amount of time. But our server got several of our orders wrong....several. After 3 and 4 attempts...we were still correcting orders. It was frustrating but we made it through. This is my first time eating at Wild Wings. I would give my food three out of five stars...I mean it was a salad. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't great either. A lot of my lettuce was brown and some of my chicken was hard. My children and I decided to stop here for lunch and were sat in the large circular booth. After receiving our drinks, my 10 year old dropped her straw in the booth and it went into the crease where the back and seat meet. She reaches to get it and immediately pulls her hand back crying and I notice she's bleeding. It seemed there was broken glass in the booth which was also EXTREMELY DIRTY. The waitress gets the manager (female, brown hair) who asked sarcastically, "Do you want me to call EMS or what?" Like no, I want you to care about your customers. She did get a bandaid but never once apologized or asked my daughter if she was okay. When I told her that the booth was disgusting, she said "Yeah it's hard to clean right there." Well how do all the other restaurants do it then? She then had the waitress move us to another booth and started cleaning it. She discounted our check but never spoke to us beyond her initial sarcastic remarks. I'm a 20 year-old black female and I went there to pick up an order and had to stand at takeout for over 15 minutes. No one came up to help me. I had to go banging on the kitchen door and still no one came and open the door till I went to the other side and banged on that door, then when someone finally did come out, it was a Shorter skinny white guy who seemingly had an attitude possibly because I was banging on the door (which I should have had to do in the first place) and he told me that I had to get my order from the bar until 5 PM as if I would've known that and no one came over to tell me that in the 15 minutes that I was at the restaurant. Put in our order, got drinks and it took our food 40 minutes to come out, didn't see our waiter the whole time before and there was only about 4 other people in the restaurant, so not sure why it took so long. This place is absolutely amazing, the food, the service, and everything else. The food was a BOMB. The bacon was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the burger I got was at a perfectly good rate. The drink I got was a coke, normal but it was filled to the top! Most places only fill it half way, or middle but Wild Wings doesn't . They surely know what they are doing. The service was quick and fast, I got a table very quickly, with a group of 5 people. When we got to the table the waiter was very quick to get our orders and drinks, probably a 6 minute wait for our food and for our drinks was only 2-3 minutes. They are very quick and the food is amazing. I definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for a quick stop for some food for many people this is an excellent location for that. I went for a take out order on New Years Eve around 2:45 in the afternoon. I headed to the take out area (which had a very large arrow sign that said "take out") however I was re-directed by host to the bar. Found the bartender friendly and waited about 6-8 minutes for my order. Found food to be very good. Here are two items/issues that could be worked on: 1. There is a dedicated take out area with a cash register but I had to stand and wait awkwardly at the bar for my order. If there's a take out area, why make patrons go to the bar? 2. I asked the host at the front about happy hour and he had absolutely no clue and made no moves to find out. As a host/hostess you should have some info about things like happy hour or (at the very least) you should exhibit a willingness to find out.
