Hubby and I had lunch at Yardhouse today after church. The wind was SO disrespectful today but it blew us right into the door and right into a booth!! There were people waiting in the lobby but we were seated immediately! The staff were friendly and greeted us with smiles. It took a minute for our server to get to us but truthfully...the wind apparently blew in several large parties because the lobby was packed about 10 minutes after we arrived. And I believe that may has been why she took so long to get to us. We weren't really bothered...we just needed to eat quickly as we had another event to attend that afternoon. Anyway, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with sun dried tomatoes, avocado on a toasted brioche bun (yummm). I ordered French fries and the chicken tortilla soup. And hubby ordered the Thai Grilled Pork-chop (and of course...when he saw my soup...he ordered one for himself). The food was delicious and it hit the spot (because I was low-key STARVING)!! Our server (I forgot her name...) was great!! And being able to pay for your food with the device at your table is so convenient!! Over all...everything was awesome! I only gave a 4 star because of the wait. We will definitely be back!!

I sat at the bar. The bartender introduced himself by name and asked for name to start a tab. He addressed by name every time he checked on me. I ordered the fish and chips. They were cooked perfectly. There were over a 100 different beers on tap which was pretty impressive. The restaurant was clean and the staff were all friendly. I'll definitely return and try other things on the menu. Highly recommend.

We ate here for Mother's Day and the quality of food was not good. The whiskey river salmon was undercooked. My son he the jambalaya but was only able to find 3 shrimp in the whole bowl. My birria tacos were super oily and all you tasted was the red onion. Outback would have been a better choice.

You can order at the table on this but I prefer a human :)

Spontaneous date night. We started with a couple of appetizers. The Crispy Brussel were a touch spicy and heavy. And the Fried Calamari which came with a nice tomato sauce. The entree was my favorite. The Mediterranean Salmon had the perfect blend of flavors. Za'atar crusted, warm cauliflower rice & red quinoa tabbouleh, kale, baby tomatoes, spicy tahini sauce. Yummy! Our server was friendly and kept our glasses filled. Fun 80s music videos playing in the background the night we were there. A large bar area. And servers ready to accommodate a small group or large. At the adjacent table a large group celebrating a birthday.

Very clean and nice restaurant. The food was excellent and so was the service! We had never ate here before, definitely exceeded our expectations and will be back.

We stopped here quick to grab some happy hour bar apps before heading to a movie. The tuna nachos unfortunately had an overwhelming fishy taste because of these seaweed shavings that were on top. I wish we would've known that to ask for it to not be added. We also tried the lettuce wraps. The chicken was chewy and the sauces it came with weren't great. I usually love peanut sauce, but this one was a let down. Our waitress was friendly when we did see her. We ended up ordering from the device on that table and paying the same way so our interaction was limited. Overall experience, meh.

I haven't been here in a while, but I was quickly reminded that they have one of the BEST happy hour menus! We ordered a little bit of everything just to taste, and it was all delicious. If you're looking for a place to go after work that's not too fancy, and you don't mind a slightly noisy environment, Yard House is perfect. (The service is good too.)

While it did have to take us requesting a server after sitting almost 10 mins with no acknowledgement, we did see the hostess stop and ask a server to come cover our table. I wish I would've caught the hostess name. We thanked her on her way back. Sydney came right over with a great attitude. Drinks and food were made well and fresh. The scene was quite busy but not overly. The tables are spaced out well enough where you don't feel crowded. There's plenty of bar top seating. The music was low enough to hear but not high enough to have to scream a conversation, which was also great. It wasn't packed but it also wasn't empty. It was a great first experience at this Yard House and I can confidently say, I'd be requesting Sydney as my server should I go back because she was exceptional the entire experience.

Lots of food options and prices run as expected. Beer prices well above average for offerings. Several beer choices were out but not noted until ordering. Service was standard and restaurant was fairly dark. It would be a cool hangout for a group of friends if you had time to try the different beer selections on tap. Some tv's near the bar give sports bar vibes but not over the top to keep it a family restaurant also

We came for a little lunch date and it was good but not something I would specifically go back for or necessarily crave/need. The burgers were okay and the parm truffle fries had way too much parsley. We also had the chicken nachos for an appetizer, those were actually the best thing we ate. Overall wouldn't willingly come back unless I was just coming for a drink - it is very dark in here and seems to have more of a drink menu than eating. Would be probably good for a drinks night out!

My second time at a Yard House. First was in Cali for my birthday some years back. It was busy but we didnt have to wait for a table for four. I had the shitake garlic noodles and asked if they could add sautéed veggies on top. It was very appetizing. I also order a drink. I thought it was a cocktail but it was actually beer. Didnt really care for it and I think its because I thought it was a refreshing beverage. One of my co-workers ordered the poke nachos and a pork burger. The other two had the philly sandwich and fries and a burger with fries.

Had an amazing lunch at Yard House. Our server Jewel was great. The restaurant had a good vibe. Food was excellent! Wish there was one near Knoxville TN.

Really good food that we enjoyed thoroughly. Very interesting menu-fusion of many cuisines featuring many ingredients that found their way into places one would not expect. With happy results! I had the salmon moussaka. The salmon was delicious-slightly blackened. Great quality salmon. Paired nicely with the lovely tzatziki and accompanied by salad heavy with toasted garbanzos and mucho quinoa, 'cukes, endive-heavy greens and a spot on bright dressing. Sister had black bean burger on dressed bun that was accompanied by perfectly prepared steak fries with house made ketchup that had a slight heat to it. Really good as well. Kitchen staff nailed the preparation and everything came out perfectly. First meal out in Greenville (as we cook). I could not have been more pleased. Great value for the price. Certainly not inexpensive, but not outrageous. I will definitely be "stealing" this moussaka dish and presentation for my wife the minute I return home! Menu is in transition per our wait person, and one interesting dish was not available. And a croquette dish had been substituted the croquettes for a latke-like pancake (I presume)-not a croquette. Extremely friendly to the veg crowd! Seems like a great kitchen and well run restaurant. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere is very inviting... clean lines.... clean restaurant... terrific attentive service. We looked for a restaurant in the Greenville area that offered vegan and non vegan options. So this fit the bill. Richard said the veggie burger was a bit too soft for his liking. I say that in reference to a vegan burger we had in Berlin that was quite meaty in texture. I think using pea protein really makes a difference in texture... it is used more overseas than in the US. I had the zucchini and potato arepa. It was very tasty and quite filling!!!! A little too heavy for me for lunch... very hearty option. Our waitress was right there when we needed her, kept our water glasses filled, which is important to me because I drink a lot of water at meals. Our daughter had the Brussel sprouts, which she said were delicious. Serving sizes are good!!

We were seated on the terrace by the door, which was less than desirable but still good. The chair I was in was awfully uncomfortable, but the benches were suitable. For food, we ordered the crispy Brussels sprouts, Earl Grey tea bread, chicken tamales, berry French toast, mushroom bruschetta and fried oysters. The Brussels were good and perfectly cooked. The Earl Grey tea bread was good, but too sweet for me (not a sweets person). My friends ordered the chicken tamales and berry French toast, respectively, and enjoyed their meal. For me, the menu didn't have anything that caught my eye, so I made a meal of the small plates. I love mushrooms, but I felt that the mushrooms in the bruschetta needed to be chopped. Their meaty texture and large pieces made it less than desirable, even though the flavor was good. The oysters were well-cooked and served in an ample portion, but with cocktail sauce rather than aioli. When asked, she brought me the paprika aioli that's on the Brussels sprouts. Still, I think a lemon-and-herb aioli or a lemon-and-horseradish aioli would have been more appropriate for a fresh brightness to cut through the breading. It was almost a good meal, but oftentimes the devil is in the details.

Two of the girls ordered salads, and I ordered the sticky chicken appetizer with the small Holly salad. The appetizer was delicious, and I am in love with the coconut ranch dressing it came with. The combination had quite the unique flavors between the sauce on the chicken and dressing. Friday night we had a 5:45 reservation since that was what we could get on Open Table or a much later option. Turns out that this was a good choice because we got a nice 4 top for the two of us in a corner, so minimal "neighbors." Our order beat the kitchen rush. We saw the kitchen rush happen as the 6:00 reservations began to fill the restaurant. Service and hospitality was excellent. We continue to enjoy the evergreen, outdoor, theme brought indoors. We wanted to try some new things and have some familiar things. Our start was the chopped Caesar Salad, which has chopped fried anchovies as a unique way to include this into the salad as well as breadcrumbs rather than larger croutons (not grainy crumbs, but smaller than croutons) and this is quite sharable. Or, could be an entree with an added protein. We shared a steak tartare - classic and excellent, a Farmers board of meat, cheeses, jams, etc. and the full head of Roasted Cauliflower with a spiced yogurt sauce that was accompanied by our choices of fries and mixed steamed vegetables (green beans, asparagus, carrots). All of this was fantastic, with the star being the surprising roasted cauliflower dish. One glass of wine and that came to $119 ($150 with Christmas tip). The watch out here is two-fold. Most dishes are intentionally shareable by theme of the restaurant and the glass of wine is gonna run $15-$20 for an 8 ounce pour. So, we came back Sunday with one of our sons and his girlfriend to celebrate Christmas with her as this is a great gluten free restaurant and has become her favorite too. Sunday was less stellar, except for the service, which was on yeoman's duty and was outstanding, especially considering they were 7 staff down due to illness. We were greeted promptly for our 12:45 reservation and it took 5-7 minutes to get our table due to it being packed out and short staffed. Winds up that Anna, the manager, wound up waiting on us. I commend her for the good communication of her staffing predicament without making it a complaint or an excuse, because they delivered. We had our drink order and lunch order placed by 1:00 and drinks arrived at 1:07, shared Caesar arrived at 1:15 and meals at 1:33pm. I noted the time because they were doing a great job on managing the overall situation. We were out of there comfortably by 1:55, easy and well taken care of. My wife & son got the usual Reuben which is the current front runner in town. The girlfriend got an apple oriented salad without the praline pecans since they are not gluten free. Unfortunately, she did find three morsels of pecans, but they were avoided and due to the circumstances, we were not going to mention it - but here - just watch it if you are sensitive. I had the chicken and waffles with jam and maple syrup and the sunny side egg. This was only okay. I am quite sure what the chef intended and what I received were two different executions. The egg was perfection. The chicken was tasty, but not juicy and a bit tough (if Zaxby's is out executing here, there is a problem). The waffle was not tender at all and was almost too hard to cut with the provided butter knife, which then made the jam and syrup portion to be inadequate to overcome the waffle texture and flavor. With a fresher waffle, a bit more on the jam and syrup, this would have notched up, there is just a ratio thing there. I did have about half of the dish as carry home, but not sure if it will be eaten. I would not hold this against the restaurant though, just noting that a rush and short staff might have some unintended consequences. All in all, with a couple of brunch martini;s and a couple of bloody Mary's, the bill was $150 with tip $180 because it is Christmas and the staff and Anna did a banger job.
