Was very skeptical about the all you can eat wing bar but my skepticism was put to ease after trying the wings. They were very good quality and fresh. What really made the trip was my server, Brian. He was very professional, didn't forget about us, and was on top of everything. He is the reason I put 5 stars instead of 4. If you're wondering why I would put 4 stars, it's because the food that my wife ordered took a little while to come out of the kitchen, still great quality but the speed needs to pick up a bit. This is mainly about how horrible their wings are. Wings are boney and small and terrible. The flavors are mediocre and for some reason all have am insane amount of oil in them. Go to hokey smokies or Buffalo wild wings... Anywhere but here for wings. WITH THAT BEING SAID, if you just want atmosphere this place is really good for that! Love the nachos. Kinda loud. Typical Johnson City restaurant. It opens up to and there's a line outside and then two weeks later you could finally get in without having to wait 45 minutes for food. Customer Service was really good. When we were there they forgot about our food and when it finally came out it was probably cold so the managers came up and comped us for our drinks. I really like the customer service. They saw that we were waiting, they saw that our food was really not up to par to be served. They apologized and they did make it up to us. First time. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, the food didn't meet my expectations. I had the chicken feathers( chicken in a stick). The meat was cooked well but lacked seasoning and the sauces I choose, one spicy and one not spicy, were also bland. It was disappointing end to an otherwise enjoyable evening with friends. Poor experience this past Monday evening. Went for the "buy 6 wings, get 6 wings free". Found out the promo didn't start until 8:00 (it was 7:30). My party decided that we were too hungry to wait and went ahead and ordered. I decided on the 12 bone-in wings, as did one of my friends. My fiancé and another friend ordered feathers. The food did not show up until 8:05 and was mediocre at best. My wings were very over-cooked and dry. I had to ask for extra sauce, which the waitress did provide after some time. The feathers were also dry and lacked flavor. After picking at our food, we were ready for our check. We did not see our waitress again for 30+ minutes. Great addition to downtown Johnson City. Yeah, I know it's your typical wing place, but it's clean, open, and in a great location. Our server, Olivia (according to the check), did a nice job of guiding us through the menu. She was very accommodating and took the time to answer questions about the menu and also questions about the new restaurant. I was with my son. I was looking for a light lunch to tide us over until dinner in a kid friendly environment. The inside is large and the windows were open. We were sat in less then 10 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. During NFL playoffs---not regular season. We ordered 12 wings. They were able to split them two flavors garlic(6) and Cajun(6), thanks to Olivia making the suggestion. Also, I asked if we could get all drumsticks, which she made happen, no problem. The garlic wings were the better choice the garlic flavor was strong and the chicken was cooked well. The Cajun wings were spicy, but not full of flavor. We ordered 2 salads. Again, Olivia offered to adjust the salads to our liking and split them if we wanted. The Salads were fresh and a good compliment. I ordered a mimosa, which was on special, and a beer with the meal. I think the mimosa was $1, so why not? I didn't stay for the game but it was fun to enjoy the experience of watching the fans start filing in to cheer on their team surrounded by all the TVs. From where we sat there were many good viewing angles. The place was full but not crowed. Wild Wings Cafe is the Ying to the Yee-Haw Yang. Where Yee-Haw is kind of a mix between a seriously brooding artist/upscale fast food joint, Wild wings is like the fun friend who is up for anything. I can't stress enough how the server made the experience exactly what I was hoping for. She even made a joke when my son said he was skipping desert. Hopefully this carries through to all the staff, but I'll find out because I will be returning. read more

Wild Wing Cafe has the best burgers, wings, fries, and ranch dressing! They also have a full bar, awesome beers on tap, friendly staff (amazing bartenders), and have life bands and karaoke nights! It is an amazing atmosphere and the best local place to watch sports!! I've never had a problem eating inside, but we've had multiple issues with the To-Go service such as over-cooked burgers (as in too tough to bite into) and things being left out of the order. I will always continue to eat there because we live nearby, they have late food service, and upon addressing the carryout issues with the manager, he has always compensated us nicely with gift cards or fast replacements before we leave. This was our first time trying Wild Wing Cafe. We decided to try this place instead of going to our usual BWW. ATTENTION FOOTBALL FANS. This is the place to go. Multiple TVs playing multiple games. $2 mimosas and they also have a special on beers on Sundays. Great atmosphere. They also had Bud Light merchandise (chair, shirt, cozies) that they were giving away after the TN game (raffle style for those who bough Bud Light. While I wasn't that impressed by their boneless wings (it seemed like too much breading and fried too long) the buffalo dip was pretty good and we had a total of 8 mimosas for $16. Pauletta was our server and she made sure not to let our glasses going completely empty before asking if we needed anything else. Not only were there multiple games to watch, but it wasn't overly packed! Got a seat right away so we could start watching the games. And their menu is decently priced. Great place. I was there a few nights ago just before a UT game started. It was super busy so it took a while to get a table. The service is always good. Everyone in my group got the wings and they enjoyed them. I have ordered one of their salads each time I have been (not a big fan of wings actually) and the peanut sesame dressing goes well with the salad I always get -- it has shrimp in it. This place is an old car dealership that was transformed into a pretty cool place to meet friends and enjoy the game. Great beer selection too. read more

It is a place that has potential to be great, but doesn't have a good staff. It started with the girl asking us our phone number twice, but still putting it in wrong. (they text when your table is ready). They got the area code wrong and rather than reasoning through that they might have a digit wrong in the local area code, they simply marked us off as no shows. The manager decided to make it right by giving us who she claimed was the best waiter she had. If he was the best, wow. He was super slow, spent more time sitting on a stool next to the kitchen entrance than working and totally ignored the person not drinking alcohol (our designated driver) to the point the rest of us had to insist he get her refills. Just moved to JC and was looking for a good place to get Buffalo wings - I tried Wild Wing, which was VERY disappointing. I was alone, and the hostess tried twice to sit me on high bar stools, even though I had told her I wasn't comfortable sitting on them. It then took them more than 10 minutes to seat me at a table, despite there being at least 5 empty ones and no customers waiting in front of me. The hostess asked me to follow her to a table just as I was getting ready to leave. I ordered a dozen wings as a trial (the waitress did a good job - no complaints). The wings did come pretty quickly. I found out why when I bit into one and found it wasn't fully cooked. Can't get the taste of semi-raw chicken out of my mouth.
