    Cash Receipt

I have been going here for about a year, last night went in ordered a 15 piece, waited about an hour. Received my order and it was short 5 wings, let them know and the young lady made a mistake and only charged me for a 10 piece. So I originally paid by card but decided to pay by cash come to find out that I originally paid $.065 cents extra because I used a card. Asked the worker you should let people know about this charge she told me they don't have to. SO BE WARNED, you will get a $.65 cent extra charge for using a CC and it doesn't even show on your receipt. But the cash receipt will say at the bottom you SAVED $.35 CENTS BECAUSE YOU PAIDED IN CASH, but nothing on the CREDIT CARD RECEIPT hmm felt so deceived for a whole year.

So I haven't been back to this place since I was accused of stealing a small bag of fries when they just opened. But thought I'd try again for lunch. Disappointed in the half filled bag of wedges, I mean for the price I would of appreciated a full bag or an overflowing bag of wedges. Second, WTH is that?!! I mean chicken wings aren't suppose to be literal. I was so disgusted by that it just ruined the entire meal. And it was the only one so it's not like I ordered them. Aside from that the wings are very, very VERY DRY, not why you have half a container full of sauce. But that didn't help, they were still dry and messy. Needless to say I won't be returning for another 2 years hopefully next time I'll have a better experience.

This wing joint is great. Doing the Keto thing is hard due to all the wet sauces having loads of sugar in them. Nick let me look at the ingredient lists for all the dry rubs he uses and I hit the jackpot with the Cajun dry rub. Spicy and so flavorful and zero sugar! Thanks Nick for always providing a great meal with equally great service.

Nick is great, great customer service. Decided to give them another chance because everyone deserves 2nd chances. Lemon pepper boneless are so good, Can't argue that they are delicious!

This food is amazing, customer service was amazing!!!! Totally would recommend it!!! Best place in town !

I ordered some wings with door dash and they were raw and pink I was already 5 wings in when I realized it because my stomach was hurting I called and they said to bring them back but when I arrived they said there was nothing they could do about it

5$ for fried pickles and this is what they send out. They should be ashamed of themselves this is so ghetto

The food in this place is good and usually makes up for the dirty restaurant, bad customer service and high price, BUT today my family and I ordered delivery and received a sloppy, cold and half missing order. The sampler we usually order was undercooked and missing half the items and the 5$ for fried pickles was literally two pickles, one of which was cut in half. Ghetto store. Looks like we're going to be going out of town for wings now.

I guess because it's a sports bar restaurant, and it's in Bakersfield. I got the shock of my life. It turned out, this was the best barbecue food I ever had. Not only that, but it's very affordable. I would say a bargain. I didn't have to spend 100+ dollars for 2 persons, like a lot of so called high quality barbecue restaurants. The briskets and ribs were amazing. Delicious, flavorful, and melts in your mouth. Sides were also delicious. The service was good too. You just go up and get your order. It took a little time, but the staff is helpful and friendly. I'll be back here again, the next time I'm in Bakersfield. Maybe I'll visit the Buck Owen's museum. Bakersfield is truly the Texas of California, although I've only been to El Paso, Texas.

The ambiance was awesome--big screen TVs everywhere, a spacious open layout, and a fun vibe that makes it perfect for any event or casual hangout. Right away I knew chefs take real pride in the way they make and plate the food. They've got a great variety on the menu, but I went with the fish tacos and sweet potato fries, both were tasty and full of flavor! I was so impressed by the way they plated the fish tacos not only were the fish tacos loaded with all the goodies, but on the side, they had included delicious rice with lots and butter and lime, as well as pickles purple onion. It's served with a side of cilantro aioli and a lemon wedge I would definitely order this again. 8/10 2. Breaded chicken over Garlic Fettuccine Alfredo. The pasta had a nice garlic flavor and a rich creamy white Alfredo sauce. Chicken was cooked to perfection and flavorful. One of my favorites 10/10 NOTE: all pastas are made in-house 3. Cali Lasagna : Wagyu beef bolognese, pomodoro sauce, Parmesan and basil oil. Lasagna was piping hot and very good. It had dollops of ricotta cheese on top. 9/10 4. Fried Lasagna: chef special. OMG!! But there was something we had not considered, we were going to be going to a place that required us to be fresh and ready to receive the wonder of place by a lack and we only had the energy for an angry stop at a gas station. So this place I visited when I was tired and that kind of gunked up the experience. If I would have gone with more energy to fully open my eyes than this experience would have been wondrous. When I booked the reservation I did it because it was a place by a lake. I enjoy water front dining and I usually use an ocean for scenery and today I was in a place where I could use a large creek. And since I was not going with any specific expectations that lake hit me like a bucket of wow. I remember like seeing the mouth of the lake going down like actual rocks. Like I was seeing the waters that people raft on with commitment to the outdoors. It felt like I had traveled into a place where trees were purest, bird melodies were the only noise in town (besides the water running in the creek), and cabins belonged to those who called the mountains home. I was in a novel and for some reason I felt like it was written by Twain. And that is really what I can say about this place. That is mostly what I remember the beauty of the creek. I wanted to spend more time there, I could have walked it, they had like a lounge but I did not. But I do remember the forested view that went on, and the roaring, jagged leg being a central character other than that I have small things to say. I remember the salad being ok. Denise and I shared a dish, I can't remember why but we did not eat the whole thing. It was inherently bad. But this could have been an off night, or just not the dish of the place, and really you go here for the lake, and the food was great in some ways just not in this specific way. I went to this place a few weeks ago, and, if I had not make it clear I remember the experience of being with the lake. So go here for that experience and let the rest just fall into place.

We ended up leaving shortly after being seated because the experience was so uncomfortable. The customer service from the two young ladies working was extremely rude and unwelcoming. In fact, the people seated behind us mentioned that interactions with the staff are usually hit or miss, which was disappointing to hear. Customer service plays a huge role in the relationship between a restaurant and its customers. A friendly attitude and welcoming environment can make all the difference. Sadly, that was not our experience here. Because of how uncomfortable we felt, I won't be returning with my family in the future. 5/31/26

Notably the hourly fee was cheaper earlier in the day. We were given the password for the linked computer and a few tees. We had our own clubs so we didn't have to rent anything. There were multiple games available on the computer including capture the flag and golf pong. Unfortunately we kept getting kicked off from the account and it interfered with our game. The tees were also flimsy and 3/4 of our tees were bent and unable to stand up straight. The calibration also needed some work as there were times the ball moved without anyone swinging. The drinks were the best part of the experience. Everything was strong, alcohol and flavor wise. We weren't checked up on frequently so make sure to place everything at once. *Wings: we chose the mango habanero sauce and it packed some good heat. The meat was moist while the skin was on the softer side. Overall the tenderness and sweet sauce made it a good shareable. *Pretzel Sticks: the texture was good but there could have been a bit more salt and cheese to dip in. Our sticks also looked skinnier than the ones pictured. *Churros: came with vanilla ice cream. The churros were stiff and greasy. They tasted frozen and reheated. The ice cream was also on the harder side, almost freezer burnt. Bad ending to our meal. The drinks were probably my favorite downtown but the other aspects were greatly overpriced. The golfing was subpar, notably worse than the typical Top Golf experience. Especially with the upcharge for equipment, this was too expensive for a fun night out with friends.
