    Spinach dip during happy hour
    Sandra P.

Stopped by for a drink and an appetizer with a friend. We were fortunate enough to catch happy hour at the bar. Had a delicious margarita and a spinach dip. Definitely great deals!

Yardhouse is good for a drink and some easy hot food. It's FIFA time and the play the U.S.A and Mexico games with loud audio. The beer is cold and the drinks are poured nice. The food is hot, the service is great. I recommend Yardhouse.

I will always come here as a comfort restaurant. I know what I want and it's always great! I feel like I'm welcomed with open arms and everyone knows my name lol.

The staff here is hands-down the best I've experienced at any Yard House, and honestly some of the best I've seen at this level of dining. From start to finish, every interaction was exceptional. We chose to sit at the bar since we enjoy seeing what drinks others are ordering and asking questions about anything that catches our eye. The bartenders were fantastic knowledgeable, approachable, and happy to answer questions. At one point my wife needed to use the restroom, and they even offered to walk her over so she wouldn't miss it, which was a really thoughtful touch. We ordered the queso dip during happy hour, and as usual, Yard House's happy hour menu did not disappoint. It's generous, well-priced, and hard to go wrong with. Overall, an outstanding experience driven by truly great staff.

We recently dined in for the first time. Yard House has been in Bakersfield for about 5yrs and even though I probably pass this place almost everyday I never made it out til recently. I didn't know what to expect when coming in because I figured it's gonna be a similar atmosphere like the neighboring restaurants and it was. They have music playing overhead kind of loud, but I'm all for it. They're rocking out to a lot of 90s R&B so I can definitely get down with that . Service was okay. The staff was nice, we didn't interact with staff a whole lot, but our experience was still great. The restaurant is clean which is a plus! I also didn't really know the types of food on their menu, but I did notice they have a lot of Asian menu items which was up my alley haha. My husband always tells me I always pick Asian restaurants hence the fact that I'm Asian, but it's not true.... I like all kinds of places. I definitely wanna try other things on their menu. So far from everything I have tried, I haven't eaten anything I didn't like. I'm actually impressed I have liked everything here which is very rare. I plan to come back and try other items here. If you haven't tried them out yet, I recommend you check them out for yourself! :-)

I am a BLT fanatic, this Double Stacked BLT was just Okay. So much lettuce, did I say so much lettuce. Service was great, I think next time we are going to do a couple appetizers and split an entrée.

Kids steak and salad. I like that the steak turned out a true medium when I asked for medium, instead of turning out medium well.

I had a good time ! I came late so they had a late night happy hour. $2 off my cocktail. They have an amazing happy hour though Mon-fri 3-6. I got the ahi tuna appetizer . It was delicious. I really enjoyed the sauce and I like that they had ginger and tomato garnish under it and some radish pieces. I thought it was overall really good and I like the thickness of it. It wasn't too thick. It wasn't too thin and then I also ordered the lavender lemon drops and that was a pretty good drink. It comes with Tito's vodka, which I like and it was a nice refreshing cocktail. My son ordered the sliders and for a kids portion. It was pretty big came with french fries pickles and he seems to like them.

My go to for a quick and delicious dinner. My favorite that's not pictured is the Brussels sprouts! They have a great happy hour but it does get full fast so make sure to arrive on time to secure a seat.

We stopped by on a Sunday evening with a group of six. Ruby, the hostess, warmly greeted us and added us to the waitlist. She estimated a 30-minute wait for a table, which was quite accurate. After a few minutes Kirsten greeted us. She informed us that our server was busy but they worked as a team so she would get us started. Kirsten was incredibly friendly and promptly brought our drinks. Not long afterwards Holly, our server, arrived to take our food orders. She was just as pleasant and efficient. We kicked things off with the spicy edamame, which is a must for our group. Perfect level of heat, super flavorful, and gone way too fast. I opted for a smoked old fashioned cocktail, which is my go-to drink when I'm not trying one of their many draft beers. For my main course, I decided to try the bleu and bacon burger. It was exactly as described. The meat was cooked to my desired temperature, and the bacon was crispy. The only downside was that my vegetarian friend ordered Gardein wings but received chicken instead. This has unfortunately happened to her multiple times at this restaurant. She now makes me try her food first whenever we dine here to ensure she's doesn't get meat on accident. All that said, solid service, great drinks, and food that keeps us coming back. Just hoping they tighten things up a bit on the vegetarian orders.

Yard House continues to meet our expectations with food, service, and mood. Treated my family to a nice dinner and were told that it would be a 15 minute wait which isn't bad at all! However, to our surprise, our table was ready within a minute or so. It was Oktoberfest and so I urged my brother to try one of the Oktoberfest beers! He was able to try most of them and liked the Weigen Festbier! For food we got the fried calamari and bbq wings for my mom, whiskey glazed salmon for myself, and the 8 oz steak for my brother. My mom loved how breaded and fresh the calamari was! The whiskey glazed salmon also tasted really good, it was soft and flavorful! My brother, who goes crazy for steak, mentioned that while the flavor profile was good - the steak was a little dry. However, the mashed potatoes on both of our plates were so so good!

    Onion Ring Tower
    Jen C.

My partner and I came on a weekend evening for dinner and to catch the game. It was very crowded and lively inside, but we decided to sit at the bar. I got the Thai grilled pork chop and we shared the onion ring tower. The onion rings were delicious - very crispy outside and super flavorful. The Thai pork chop was well cooked and tasted great, especially for the calories. Overall, we had a great experience and will be back for the next game.

It's been a while since I've been a yard house but the surface is always good we went around 2:00 in the afternoon on a Friday wasn't too crowded plenty of tables service was on point Food is always hot had the blue cheese burger with sweet potato fries it was just too much for me to eat but it was good person I was with had nachos and they look pretty good and hot atmosphere was pretty calm and quiet cuz it wasn't crowded I guess that's the best time to go wasn't too busy definitely going to go back sooner than later

No, they do not. Happy Hours:…

Hi. Is the patio dining available for everyone or need reservations? Is it air conditioned?

I just walked in and requested the patio. It was nice. If you have a large party I would definitely reserve before hand.

    Is it Kid friendly?

I agree with the previous answer. It is very loud. I recommend you asking for the first available booth for seating with kids. I also recommend that for anyone who actually wants to have a conversation. You can't hear while at a table due to the…

    Do you guys do reservations?

Hey Unique! We don't take reservations. We recommend calling us directly to see if you can join our call ahead seating, though. Here's the number: (661) 664-1014

Are you going to be bringing back the egg rolls? Unless I'm Over looking them.

Hey Ash! We do not have any plans to bring back our Moo Shu Egg Rolls.

Do you guys have the late night happy hour at this location? If not, you should lol.

Hey Devin! We do have Late Night Happy Hour. It is Sunday - Wednesday 10:00 pm-Close.

Is the fried Mac n Cheese coming back?

Hey Dani! We don't have any plans to bring it back at the moment, but we'd be happy to let our team know you miss it.

    Are they accepting reservations yet?

Hi Tiffany! We do not take reservations, but you can join our Wait List by calling us at (661) 664-1014 before you arrive.

How are the hours for patio dining? Do they still close at 12

Hi Sarah! Our hours for patio dining are the same as dine-in. We close at 12am every Sunday-Thursday and 12:30am on Fridays and Saturdays.

    Do they take reservations?

No. I think they are currently swamped with the demand due to it being so new. I called a few weeks ago and confirmed this. Hopefully, they will in the future!

How do I get an Invite to the soft opening on 12/13/2019 in Bakersfield Ca.?

On what is typically one of the busiest nights of the week, it did make us wonder if that was an early signal of what was to come. To start, the menu is undeniably extensive...spanning multiple Asian cuisines with a wide variety of dishes, from ramen to curries to appetizers like tofu satay and crispy enoki. While ambition and variety can be a strength, here it felt more like quantity came at the expense of execution. We ordered a range of dishes to get a fair sense of the kitchen: tofu satay, crispy enoki, tonkotsu-style ramen (soy milk-based), drunken noodles, and ma po tofu - all items that, on paper, should deliver bold, distinct flavors. Unfortunately, most fell flat. The tofu satay lacked depth, the crispy enoki was an interesting concept but noticeably under-seasoned, and the ramen broth missed the richness and complexity you'd expect from that style. The drunken noodles and ma po tofu similarly leaned mild and muted, rather than vibrant or aromatic. To be fair, the concept of a fully plant-based Asian menu is appealing, and there is clear effort behind offering such a wide selection. However, in this case, the breadth of options seems to dilute the overall quality and consistency of the dishes. Overall, while I appreciate the intention and inclusivity of a fully vegan menu, the execution didn't quite meet expectations...especially given how many flavorful reference points these dishes typically have.

It is Grilled Cod with pineapple, cabbage, green onions, cilantro, crema & guacamole which sounds so delicious. There are two reasons why I gave a lower star review today. What she neglected to inform me was that there was an add on fee for the sweet potato fries, so my $13 lunch special turned into a $16 lunch. I don't like surprises! We started with three drinks: the Tullum Bloom, Strawberry Margarita, and Strawberry Lemon Drop. All three were delightfully fruity and refreshing, making it hard to pick a favorite! For food, we ordered the birria bao buns, shrimp bao bun, chile relleno, crispy beef taco with refried beans and rice, and camarones with refried beans and soft tortillas. The birria bao bun was my absolute favorite! The mini bao is packed with flavorful birria, and I absolutely loved the consommé they serve alongside it for dipping. It's such a fun combination, and that consommé takes the bao to another level. I also really enjoyed that they make their salsas in-house. They served both a verde and a roasted red salsa with the buns, and both were delicious. The chile relleno was another standout. That melted, cheesy goodness inside was everything you want from a chile relleno! The crispy beef taco was an unexpected winner. It was served with what seemed to be the same delicious birria-style beef, so it was instantly a favorite. The crispy shell paired perfectly with the tender, flavorful meat. The camarones with soft tortillas were also really good. The shrimp were well seasoned, and the soft tortillas made them perfect for building little tacos.
