Stopped by for a drink and an appetizer with a friend. We were fortunate enough to catch happy hour at the bar. Had a delicious margarita and a spinach dip. Definitely great deals!
Yardhouse is good for a drink and some easy hot food. It's FIFA time and the play the U.S.A and Mexico games with loud audio. The beer is cold and the drinks are poured nice. The food is hot, the service is great. I recommend Yardhouse.
I will always come here as a comfort restaurant. I know what I want and it's always great! I feel like I'm welcomed with open arms and everyone knows my name lol.
The staff here is hands-down the best I've experienced at any Yard House, and honestly some of the best I've seen at this level of dining. From start to finish, every interaction was exceptional. We chose to sit at the bar since we enjoy seeing what drinks others are ordering and asking questions about anything that catches our eye. The bartenders were fantastic knowledgeable, approachable, and happy to answer questions. At one point my wife needed to use the restroom, and they even offered to walk her over so she wouldn't miss it, which was a really thoughtful touch. We ordered the queso dip during happy hour, and as usual, Yard House's happy hour menu did not disappoint. It's generous, well-priced, and hard to go wrong with. Overall, an outstanding experience driven by truly great staff.

I also didn't really know the types of food on their menu, but I did notice they have a lot of Asian menu items which was up my alley haha. My husband always tells me I always pick Asian restaurants hence the fact that I'm Asian, but it's not true.... I like all kinds of places. I definitely wanna try other things on their menu. So far from everything I have tried, I haven't eaten anything I didn't like. I'm actually impressed I have liked everything here which is very rare. I plan to come back and try other items here. If you haven't tried them out yet, I recommend you check them out for yourself! :-)
I am a BLT fanatic, this Double Stacked BLT was just Okay. So much lettuce, did I say so much lettuce. Service was great, I think next time we are going to do a couple appetizers and split an entrée.
I had a good time ! I came late so they had a late night happy hour. $2 off my cocktail. They have an amazing happy hour though Mon-fri 3-6. I got the ahi tuna appetizer . It was delicious. I really enjoyed the sauce and I like that they had ginger and tomato garnish under it and some radish pieces. I thought it was overall really good and I like the thickness of it. It wasn't too thick. It wasn't too thin and then I also ordered the lavender lemon drops and that was a pretty good drink. It comes with Tito's vodka, which I like and it was a nice refreshing cocktail. My son ordered the sliders and for a kids portion. It was pretty big came with french fries pickles and he seems to like them.

It was exactly as described. The meat was cooked to my desired temperature, and the bacon was crispy. The only downside was that my vegetarian friend ordered Gardein wings but received chicken instead. This has unfortunately happened to her multiple times at this restaurant. She now makes me try her food first whenever we dine here to ensure she's doesn't get meat on accident. All that said, solid service, great drinks, and food that keeps us coming back. Just hoping they tighten things up a bit on the vegetarian orders.

However, to our surprise, our table was ready within a minute or so. It was Oktoberfest and so I urged my brother to try one of the Oktoberfest beers! He was able to try most of them and liked the Weigen Festbier! For food we got the fried calamari and bbq wings for my mom, whiskey glazed salmon for myself, and the 8 oz steak for my brother. My mom loved how breaded and fresh the calamari was! The whiskey glazed salmon also tasted really good, it was soft and flavorful! My brother, who goes crazy for steak, mentioned that while the flavor profile was good - the steak was a little dry. However, the mashed potatoes on both of our plates were so so good!
My partner and I came on a weekend evening for dinner and to catch the game. It was very crowded and lively inside, but we decided to sit at the bar. I got the Thai grilled pork chop and we shared the onion ring tower. The onion rings were delicious - very crispy outside and super flavorful. The Thai pork chop was well cooked and tasted great, especially for the calories. Overall, we had a great experience and will be back for the next game.
It's been a while since I've been a yard house but the surface is always good we went around 2:00 in the afternoon on a Friday wasn't too crowded plenty of tables service was on point Food is always hot had the blue cheese burger with sweet potato fries it was just too much for me to eat but it was good person I was with had nachos and they look pretty good and hot atmosphere was pretty calm and quiet cuz it wasn't crowded I guess that's the best time to go wasn't too busy definitely going to go back sooner than later

Spring break means errands and mom and son lunch out, in the middle of a Wednesday! I have quite the picky eater with me 99% of the time so I don't get to go where I want 99% of the time. But that's to one of the biggest kids menus I've seen, I was able to talk my son into some real restaurant food and not fast food for lunch. It was not busy at all. The hostess was really friendly and so was our waiter. We were immediately sat and given waters. I went with the poke salad and it was so good! Very filling and a lot bigger than it seems in the photo. The amount of tuna was great,they definitely did not short me on my dish. My son got the kids cheese pizza and he was very impressed by the stringiness of the cheese. It also came with a decent amount of fries and fruit. He also loved the dragon fruit lemonade. The lighting was a bit dark but the music was great and my son enjoyed watching the Dodgers play on one screen and music videos on another. Definitely going back soon! read more

I always loved Yard House I think it's the best option to go to if you're deciding where to eat near riverwalk. I've always had excellent customer service , especially today our server was so sweet and patient with us and she even brought us refills on drinks even when we didn't ask, brought multiple dipping sauces for us to try, and always checked on us but not too much. The food is amazing. Their Mac and cheese is so flavorful. Their alcoholic drinks are always top tier. I just have nothing negative to say. Even paying is easy for not only us but the servers as well. Will always keep coming back. read more

It's not very often you get to wind down for some Yard House mid week, so when my daughter wanted to treat me, I gladly accepted. Even on a random Wednesday Yard House was still alive, fortunately my daughter had arrived a bit earlier so we didn't have to wait to be seated. Our waiter was all business, but he was polite. Being that I was at Yard House, of course I would be unable to continue the evening without first starting out with an order of the spicy garlic edamame Such a simple appetizer but always very tasty. For my meal I thought I would try a new item on the menu, the Twisted Fettuccine Alfredo. I also made a small alteration and added chicken and shrimp. Everything was cooked really well. The pasta, shrimp and chicken were all of good quality, but I felt as if the flavor just wasn't there. Very neutral and rather plain. To end the night, I of course could not leave without a final order of the cheesecake brûlée, which was fantastic. read more

Alright, so by now I hope you all know flavor and me, We go together. Tell those folks we go together. So, if you didn't know, now you know, and that's why Yard House of Bakersfield only gets 4 stars from Me. A couple of the dishes We ordered fell a bit short on that for Me. Today My husband and I were on a mission to catch and enjoy their happy hour. His bonus Mother kept telling us of this very big chicken nacho they serve for only $8.50. When We arrived 20 minutes to 6, the place was packed and there was a wait list. My oh so ever concerned husband didn't think we would get seated in time to fulfill our mission. However, I know that the bar is open seating, so after I confirmed this with the staff, of whom all were awesome. From the host, to the many bartenders Who tended to us, to the manager, to a waitress just passing by who grabbed me extra soy ginger sauce for the poke nachos(my favorite) The Hubs ordered. Every staff member I interacted with gets 5 stars from Me. Along with the chicken and poke nachos My husband ordered the sliders and fries. Now Mother was not overreacting regarding the quantity of food Yard House serves. My husband got 5 sliders and a rather large basket of French fries for under $8. These and the chicken nachos get 3.5 stars, due to their lack of flavor, the meat on the nachos-delish. However, the beans on the nachos tasted like they were served straight from the can with no doctoring up, and the guacamole looked delicious, but failed to offer that kick; the sliders need some special sauce and grilled onion added to them and they could very likely become a 5. The poke nachos earns 5 stars off top. The wonton chips and ahi tuna- super fresh, all of the sauces on those- bomb. All I added was extra soy ginger sauce. We will be back again to try their pizzas and a few other items off their massive happy hour menu. read more

I come to yard house often, this time I decided to try something new. The food came out quickly as always no matter how busy it is! It was hot and delicious, my boyfriend and I were very happy with our meals. We had two servers as one was taking their break when we got sat, they were both helpful and attentive. Tip! Join the wait list on the app for minimal waiting. I was going in the middle of Happy Hour, joined the waitlist from my house(takes 23 min to get there) table was waiting for us as soon as we walked in, and there were so many people waiting. Its giving Landrys member vibes... Anyway. Went for the half price appetizers and pizza amd of course the gluten free options for the kiddo. Our waitress name was Lyric, how precious is that? I asked her for the best pizza and she suggested the Mushroom Truffle! Lyric is the goat! It was an amazing pizza. The crust was thin and crisp, mushrooms delicious and that truffle sauce, chefs kiss. The poke nachos always hits, freshest ingredients, never disappoints. The hummus was nice and flavorful but I would ask for the pitas to maybe be a but more crisp as they seemed a bit more soft and chewy than I like. The kid loves her gluten free burger and fries and of course a 1.99 ice cream sunday. She's a sucker for ice cream. The atmosphere waa lively with a mix of people from all walks of life. Me & my friend came for dinner after shopping in river walk. Food was quick & delicious. Ambiance was a little loud for my taste, but a fun atmosphere for happy hour & friends!! Service was okay.. started out great, then our gal disappeared for a while and we were lucky enough to have a busser who filled in with our requests. Wanted to have a quick bite before rehearsals and thought to come here to cool down from the heat . Place was VIBIN'!!!! First of all, the manager was soooo delightful. He had such a positive fun personality! If you come in from a bad day, he will definitely cheer you up! His cheery disposition is absolutely contagious!!! Came in for a late Friday lunch . Yard house always looks busy we were seated no waiting. Laura greeted us and was our waitress she was super had our drinks in a minute. Yard house background music is fine. Our orders were brought out after a short wait and they were both excellent. My chicken avocado sandwich had a filleted avocado on top of a grilled moist plump chicken breast it was excellent. My fries came in a basket they were light crispy with the right pinch of salt. My wife ordered Pineapple chicken It covered her entire plate large portions of broccoli and white rice the chicken breast had sweet chucks of pineapples she only could finish half it was also excellent Great price, super service, and atmosphere. Ambiance way too noisy. On the positive side good loud music. Super busy night for a Thursday. Food-muscato wine (yum). Sweet just how I like it. The whiskey salmon was ok. It had flavor but a little dry. Mashed potatoes were hot and flavorful. Baby carrots were a bit undercooked- too firm and hard. The broccoli was flavorful and good. Service- Carter was very busy. There was quiet a few people on a Thursday night. He was informative about the questions we had on some of the dishes. read more
Who can't love a decent chain restaurant? I have never been let down at this place, the four times I've visited this location. From apps, drinks, and entrees this place doesn't disappoint. The wait time has never been astronomical and they do it the right way, with a longer estimated wait time, with an actual wait time of 15-20 minutes earlier. The place is noisy. Just know, any place that serves beer in the measurement of feet, it's going to be louder than most. They have a GIANT beer selection, with a selection as if you're at a fine dining establishment with that giant wine list. They also have a full bar, with a decent drink selection for that as well. Good they're all over the place. They have a huge starter menu, to go along with that beer menu. They travel across the globe, when it comes to their dining options. I've sadly haven't strayed from my Korean BBQ Cheesesteak the last two times. I don't think they have a bad menu item. To circle back around; the restaurant is clean and well maintained, the menu items for drinks and food is vast but easily manageable and the prices are fair for market value. Overall a great place to stop in and have a drink or bring the family or a large group for lunch or dinner. Great addition to the Bakersfield area. read more

Went here with a large group. Our server was great. Quick and able to handle all the orders well. I ordered the Ahi Crunchy Salad. It was good but very salty. I ate about 1/3 before it was just too much. The appetizers were delicious though! Order Miguel's queso dip!! Amazing!! read more
New Year's Day was so busy but I put us on the waitlist before arriving which made our wait super short. Service was outstanding considering how busy it was. We ordered the calamari and queso dip as appetizers. The calamari was a hot, very good. The queso dip was blah, nothing exciting. I ordered the vampire tacos with rice and beans and it was good. I get these quite a bit when I come here. I don't come here often but when I do it's pretty dependable. read more
