Kids steak and salad. I like that the steak turned out a true medium when I asked for medium, instead of turning out medium well.

I had a good time ! I came late so they had a late night happy hour. $2 off my cocktail. They have an amazing happy hour though Mon-fri 3-6. I got the ahi tuna appetizer . It was delicious. I really enjoyed the sauce and I like that they had ginger and tomato garnish under it and some radish pieces. I thought it was overall really good and I like the thickness of it. It wasn't too thick. It wasn't too thin and then I also ordered the lavender lemon drops and that was a pretty good drink. It comes with Tito's vodka, which I like and it was a nice refreshing cocktail. My son ordered the sliders and for a kids portion. It was pretty big came with french fries pickles and he seems to like them.

The staff here is hands-down the best I've experienced at any Yard House, and honestly some of the best I've seen at this level of dining. From start to finish, every interaction was exceptional. We chose to sit at the bar since we enjoy seeing what drinks others are ordering and asking questions about anything that catches our eye. The bartenders were fantastic knowledgeable, approachable, and happy to answer questions. At one point my wife needed to use the restroom, and they even offered to walk her over so she wouldn't miss it, which was a really thoughtful touch. We ordered the queso dip during happy hour, and as usual, Yard House's happy hour menu did not disappoint. It's generous, well-priced, and hard to go wrong with. Overall, an outstanding experience driven by truly great staff.

Tip! Join the wait list on the app for minimal waiting. I was going in the middle of Happy Hour, joined the waitlist from my house(takes 23 min to get there) table was waiting for us as soon as we walked in, and there were so many people waiting. Its giving Landrys member vibes... Anyway. Went for the half price appetizers and pizza amd of course the gluten free options for the kiddo. Our waitress name was Lyric, how precious is that? I asked her for the best pizza and she suggested the Mushroom Truffle! Lyric is the goat! It was an amazing pizza. The crust was thin and crisp, mushrooms delicious and that truffle sauce, chefs kiss. The poke nachos always hits, freshest ingredients, never disappoints. The hummus was nice and flavorful but I would ask for the pitas to maybe be a but more crisp as they seemed a bit more soft and chewy than I like. The kid loves her gluten free burger and fries and of course a 1.99 ice cream sunday. She's a sucker for ice cream. The atmosphere waa lively with a mix of people from all walks of life. Music and videos played, sports were playing. There really is something for everyone. I volunteer to Yardhouse with you anytime!!

We recently dined in for the first time. Yard House has been in Bakersfield for about 5yrs and even though I probably pass this place almost everyday I never made it out til recently. I didn't know what to expect when coming in because I figured it's gonna be a similar atmosphere like the neighboring restaurants and it was. They have music playing overhead kind of loud, but I'm all for it. They're rocking out to a lot of 90s R&B so I can definitely get down with that . Service was okay. The staff was nice, we didn't interact with staff a whole lot, but our experience was still great. The restaurant is clean which is a plus! I also didn't really know the types of food on their menu, but I did notice they have a lot of Asian menu items which was up my alley haha. My husband always tells me I always pick Asian restaurants hence the fact that I'm Asian, but it's not true.... I like all kinds of places. I definitely wanna try other things on their menu. So far from everything I have tried, I haven't eaten anything I didn't like. I'm actually impressed I have liked everything here which is very rare. I plan to come back and try other items here. If you haven't tried them out yet, I recommend you check them out for yourself! :-)

It's been a while since I've been a yard house but the surface is always good we went around 2:00 in the afternoon on a Friday wasn't too crowded plenty of tables service was on point Food is always hot had the blue cheese burger with sweet potato fries it was just too much for me to eat but it was good person I was with had nachos and they look pretty good and hot atmosphere was pretty calm and quiet cuz it wasn't crowded I guess that's the best time to go wasn't too busy definitely going to go back sooner than later

I always loved Yard House I think it's the best option to go to if you're deciding where to eat near riverwalk. I've always had excellent customer service , especially today our server was so sweet and patient with us and she even brought us refills on drinks even when we didn't ask, brought multiple dipping sauces for us to try, and always checked on us but not too much. The food is amazing. Their Mac and cheese is so flavorful. Their alcoholic drinks are always top tier. I just have nothing negative to say. Even paying is easy for not only us but the servers as well. Will always keep coming back.

We stopped by on a Sunday evening with a group of six. Ruby, the hostess, warmly greeted us and added us to the waitlist. She estimated a 30-minute wait for a table, which was quite accurate. After a few minutes Kirsten greeted us. She informed us that our server was busy but they worked as a team so she would get us started. Kirsten was incredibly friendly and promptly brought our drinks. Not long afterwards Holly, our server, arrived to take our food orders. She was just as pleasant and efficient. We kicked things off with the spicy edamame, which is a must for our group. Perfect level of heat, super flavorful, and gone way too fast. I opted for a smoked old fashioned cocktail, which is my go-to drink when I'm not trying one of their many draft beers. For my main course, I decided to try the bleu and bacon burger. It was exactly as described. The meat was cooked to my desired temperature, and the bacon was crispy. The only downside was that my vegetarian friend ordered Gardein wings but received chicken instead. This has unfortunately happened to her multiple times at this restaurant. She now makes me try her food first whenever we dine here to ensure she's doesn't get meat on accident. All that said, solid service, great drinks, and food that keeps us coming back. Just hoping they tighten things up a bit on the vegetarian orders.

I come to yard house often, this time I decided to try something new. The food came out quickly as always no matter how busy it is! It was hot and delicious, my boyfriend and I were very happy with our meals. We had two servers as one was taking their break when we got sat, they were both helpful and attentive. Always a good time when I come!

Who needs a special occasion to dine at Yard House? Just a random Thursday night and decided to treat ourselves. We must've showed up just in time, because it started off pretty mellow but gradually got busier as the night progressed. Our waiter was low energy, but friendly enough. He ended up being one of those waiters that occasionally checks in, but he's never around when you need him. We of course had to start with the garlic edamame This is like crack to me Absolutely addictive and always super tasty. The sauce is outstanding, so good. I love ahi tuna but had never tried it here, so I decided to sample that tonight too. So glad I did. Beautiful looking appetizer, and so tender and savory, and delicious. I was tempted to try something new, but ultimately ended up going with my go-to. (Spicy Garlic Beef Noodles) I always enjoy this dish because it's not super saucy, and even for a sissy like me it's not too spicy. Unfortunately tonight, it didn't land well. While the flavor was still very good, the dish was overall very dry. To finish the night we shared an order of the cheesecake brûlée and an Oreo Brookie. The cheesecake brûlée is always a treat! If you haven't tried it, you must. So good, nice and creamy texture. The Oreo Brookie is also very good. Not too sweet but no less delicious. Shoutout to Yard House for not just serving delicious dishes, but contributing artistically, beautiful looking plates

Yard House continues to meet our expectations with food, service, and mood. Treated my family to a nice dinner and were told that it would be a 15 minute wait which isn't bad at all! However, to our surprise, our table was ready within a minute or so. It was Oktoberfest and so I urged my brother to try one of the Oktoberfest beers! He was able to try most of them and liked the Weigen Festbier! For food we got the fried calamari and bbq wings for my mom, whiskey glazed salmon for myself, and the 8 oz steak for my brother. My mom loved how breaded and fresh the calamari was! The whiskey glazed salmon also tasted really good, it was soft and flavorful! My brother, who goes crazy for steak, mentioned that while the flavor profile was good - the steak was a little dry. However, the mashed potatoes on both of our plates were so so good!

My partner and I came on a weekend evening for dinner and to catch the game. It was very crowded and lively inside, but we decided to sit at the bar. I got the Thai grilled pork chop and we shared the onion ring tower. The onion rings were delicious - very crispy outside and super flavorful. The Thai pork chop was well cooked and tasted great, especially for the calories. Overall, we had a great experience and will be back for the next game.

Carter was an awesome server, super friendly! Food was really good as well. This place is a bit noisy for me but that's definitely the type of place it is so no foul on their part. If ate there many times, but I really enjoyed there salmon

On what is typically one of the busiest nights of the week, it did make us wonder if that was an early signal of what was to come. To start, the menu is undeniably extensive...spanning multiple Asian cuisines with a wide variety of dishes, from ramen to curries to appetizers like tofu satay and crispy enoki. While ambition and variety can be a strength, here it felt more like quantity came at the expense of execution. We ordered a range of dishes to get a fair sense of the kitchen: tofu satay, crispy enoki, tonkotsu-style ramen (soy milk-based), drunken noodles, and ma po tofu - all items that, on paper, should deliver bold, distinct flavors. Unfortunately, most fell flat. The tofu satay lacked depth, the crispy enoki was an interesting concept but noticeably under-seasoned, and the ramen broth missed the richness and complexity you'd expect from that style. The drunken noodles and ma po tofu similarly leaned mild and muted, rather than vibrant or aromatic. To be fair, the concept of a fully plant-based Asian menu is appealing, and there is clear effort behind offering such a wide selection. However, in this case, the breadth of options seems to dilute the overall quality and consistency of the dishes. Overall, while I appreciate the intention and inclusivity of a fully vegan menu, the execution didn't quite meet expectations...especially given how many flavorful reference points these dishes typically have.

The chicken sandwich had a great crispy bite and was packed with flavor, while the paneer sandwich was fresh, satisfying, and just different enough to make it memorable. The french fries were super crispy and very seasoned, exactly the ones you keep eating even when you're already full. What also stood out was the atmosphere and the people behind the place. Karen, the owner, is genuinely sweet and welcoming, and you can tell this business is built with care and pride. Supporting local spots like this matters, especially when good food and good service come together the way they do here. If you're thinking about going, today seems like a great time since they don't appear to be very busy. If you can't make it today, a weekday visit would probably be your best bet, since weekends seem to be the busiest. Outstanding Service & Delicious Food!…read more I had such a great experience at Maui Pho, and I have to give a special shoutout to Amy for her amazing customer service! From the moment we walked in, Amy was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. She made us feel comfortable right away and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She checked in at just the right times, gave great menu recommendations, and had such a positive attitude the entire time. On top of that, the food was incredible--fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. You can really tell they care about both the quality of their food and the experience they give their customers. Amy truly made our visit memorable. If you're coming here, definitely ask for her--you won't be disappointed! Can't wait to come back!

The menu is an interesting mix of Vietnamese, Chinese, and local Hawaiian dishes. The service was really friendly and the food was delicious. We were a little concerned as we've found in the past when restaurants mix different cuisines they tend to do each poorly or not as good as places that focus on the individual types. While we only had a couple of dishes, we really enjoyed what we got. We will definitely be back again!
