Came in on a Sunday at 3:15 p.m. and I brought my 83 year old mother. This is my first time back in here since it's rebuild. Atmosphere - The rebuild has done wonders , the place is very inviting and has multiple T.V. s around the entire restaurant and bar. It has a very wide open floor plan with minimal obstructions. It's very clean as you would think being it is practically new. Final grade = 8 out of 10 Service - our server was Amber and she was very nice and attentive. She was professional and made suggestions. With the food coming out hot and rather fast approximately 10 min after finalizing our order. Final grade - 9 out of 10 Food - Mom ordered the fried 4 piece chicken dinner. Her opinion was the coleslaw was on the sweet side but she ate it all. She said the chicken was enjoyable and moist in the inside with plenty of flavor. She also said the the mashed potatoes were real potatoes with some potato skin still present and the gravy having plenty of flavor. Her Final grade - 8.5 out of 10 stating the serving size was plentiful and the coleslaw being her only mediocre grade. ( As a side note take the slaw with an open mind after all she is 83) Food - I ordered the fish and chips - the fish was fried cod and the fries were hand cut style with the skin. The fish was a tad bit on the oily side and the fries were a good potion. The Brussel sprouts with a sweet spicy sauce had great flavor with a little kick, however the sprouts were over cooked and chewy. My final grade 7.5 out of 10 due to the oilyness of the fish and over cooked sprouts. Final overview- Yes I will be back and we had an over all good experience. When traveling down route 2 either headed to or coming from Cedar Point or the Islands it's worth a stop to grab a bite and stretch your legs. Don't let the gas station front stear you away. The restaurant is in the back and even if its under the same new building its definitely its own environment and has its own vibe! read more

Food took a long time to be delivered. We had ordered ribs and fried walleye. When we asked our waitress about our meals and mentioned that two other tables seated after we got our drinks had already been served she told us "I am not responsible for cooking your food." I agree. She isn't. But she is responsible for checking on our order to ensure it is brought to us hot (it wasn't). My first time at Wild Wings Testaurant sine the renovation was completed. The transformation makes a huge difference all the way around! Ambiance - brand new and upscale for a bar/restaurant that caters to the boaters that launch nearby. Service - was good Prices were fair for portion size My only drawback was the perch dinner was left in the fryer waaaaaay too long. Sadly, I wasn't impressed. This is a popular place for fishermen to pull up and grab a bite to eat. We stopped by during a visit to the area. The menu has a variety of items, but none of them are vegetarian. I asked if I could get the chicken wrap without chicken and they accommodated. It was an awesome wrap! Plus the fries are awesome--crispy and delicious! We also had a side of coleslaw and that was pretty darn good too. They have an assortment of drinks and drink specials. You can sit at the bar or at a table and get service. One thing I'd share is they're extremely short-staffed so often there are menu items they can't make even if they're on the menu. So be prepared for a Plan B when you order. Came in the place is fairly clean. My sister and I both ordered Patty melts and we were amazed to see when they arrived that they were made with Texas coast. Turns out they were out of rye bread. Stopped by here last night after a bad experience at Overboard Bar. We liked Overboard's perch sandwich but I'm so glad that we stopped here because Wild Wings perch sandwich was amazing and the bartender and waitress were extremely nice. When our walleye charter got weather cancelled, we stopped in for breakfast . Only 3 basic breakfast choices, but our group of 7 had a nice meal. Stopped for dinner with 5 friends on Saturday 12 July. This unassuming place next to the marina was a big and pleasant surprise. We asked for a mix of the fried appetizers to start - which turned out to be almost enough food for all 6 people. But before the appetizers arrived we ordered entrees including: prime rib, walleye basket, rib steak and two sausage pizzas of 12 and 16 inch diameters. The appetizers were all very good especially the Walleye bites. I can only comment on the pizza as that was my entree choice. The pizza was good, but perhaps too much cheese and not enough sausage. The 16 inch pizza arrived very late to the table and there was a order mix up and 'our' pizza was given to another table. The friendly waitress deducted the pizza from the bill for this error. Service was excellent and most friendly - this is a fairly crowed restaurant on a Saturday evening. All of the above food, with two rounds of drinks (beer mostly) came to $87. We all chipped in $20 and left knowing this was the best dinner bargain in the Port Clinton area. read more

I don't know what is wrong with the people who rated this restaurant 5 stars. I went here with my family and there was annoying loud music, and the tables were cheap fold up tables that were not wiped down. On top of that when I went into the bathroom, there was graffiti everywhere, there was no soap or towels, and there were empty beer bottles in the sink. When I ordered, the restaurant was not that full, and it took an hour and a half for our food to come. That is way longer than anybody could take cooking a burger. When I tried to leave the restaurant, there were golf carts on the walk and drunks were riding around on minibikes in the parking lot. I have way higher standards for a 4.5 star restaurant. read more

My husband and I just had a discussion of if this place gets 4 or 5 stars. So, it doesn't look like much, attached to the back of a gas station. They have a very generous happy hour (was going when we came in around 5 and waitress said stops at 7) where domestics are 1.50 and nicer beer is 2.50. Nothing on tap here, which is too bad, love me some tap beer but a great bottle selection. He got a smoked salmon caesar salad, which was okay. I got the perch sandwich, which I could eat all day and write a poem to. So generous with the perch, so tasty, so reasonably priced. Oh delicious local perch piled on a bun, I give you 5 stars. I got some sweet potato fries too, which were perfectly crispy. We were the only ones in the dining area, lots of nice local camo-clad folks gathered around the bar and lots of folks picking up food.
