What a perfect way to end a nine day vacation. On our way home, drove by this establishment and saw that the parking lot was pretty full. Absolutely delicious pizza. I work close by and Porky's is very convenient to order take out. Since the change in management/staffing, seems as if the food orders are spot on and if delivered, they arrive when quoted and food is still warm. I do not frequent Porky's by any means, but when I choose to order take out for lunch, more times than not, I will go with Porky's. read more

We ordered a BLT personal pizza and a side salad and the portions were so big we literally ate three meals from these two items, I kid you not. Service was fast and friendly, prices are reasonable and food hit the spot. The bacon BLT had more bacon than I've ever seen in my life and my salad was simple (lettuce, tomato, and a few other toppings) but the container was packed full. We initially wanted delivery, but they were backed up so I went and picked up which was no big deal. I went to Kroger to get a Boars head sub they said they were out of bread and they wouldn't slice a loaf for me if I bought it. I broke down and stopped at Subway and they said they were out of just about every kind of meat (what!?). I was hangry now. We stopped at Porkys ordered a sub and a cheese pizza to go. The pizza was everything I could have dreamed of. Really good cheese (actually I would have liked more sauce but I always do) and a chewy tasty crust. The sub was above average and hit the spot. Porkys basically saved my life because I would have perished if I didn't eat soon. They also had several inexpensive $1 canned beers to quench your thirst while you wait for your food. Mehhhh, not really worth the stop. I do realize I tend to be more of a thin crust fan so this crust was a bit more thick and oily. I'm not the biggest fan of that. It worked because we were hungry but I wouldn't really recommend the pizza or subs. But then again, it is greasy bar food so maybe I needed that mindset. Either way, it was pretty meh for us. Holy garlic Batman! My mom's been trying to get us out here to try this for years and tonight she succeeded. (It's a bit of a trek from Toledo so we don't get out here very often.) All I can say is I'm sad we waited so long! The garlic butter is fantastic!! We ordered piggy knuckles (garlic knots) and they were swimming in the garlicky amazingness! Absolutely finger licking fantastic! The choice of pizza was the Dilly Dilly Dilly. (Pickles on pizza anyone?) We also got a thin crust cheese (with a side of garlic butter for dipping. We were not disappointed at all with either choice! Can definitely say we'll be coming back and we'll be recommending to everyone in the area (whether they're already traveling Rt 2 or to make the special drive just for this!). :) read more

We ordered a large size of The Trof and it did not disappoint! Very tasty! Pepperoni, Sausage, Ham, Onion, Mushrooms and Banana Peppers. Enjoyed a nice cold beverage while we waited on it and staff was very friendly. Definitely would go there again if in the area. read more

Porkys is absolutely disgusting. I bet you didn't know that sometimes when the kitchen is in a rush, they drop something on the floor and still serve it to you. Remember when they had that cockroach problem? Yeah me too, if you look hard enough you are sure to find one. As well as the change in management these new managers are awful. They are supposed to be friendly , but talk to anyone even the poor food runners they get screamed at by the kitchen manager and treated like garbage when they don't get something correct. Also there is one server, i think her name is kimmy? The most rude server i have ever had a run in with. I would just recommend that no one go to porkys with how gross this place is, not just with the food, but with there loyal employees as well. read more

Horrible. Horrible customer service. Its hit or miss that the phone is answered, so carryout is a crap shoot. Tonight, the dine in side was closed so we walked into the bar area. No tables available. Walked up to the bar and the guy behind the bar didn't acknowledge that we were even standing there. He was standing a foot from us and then walked around the bar to the back. A waitress carrying pizzas walked by and didn't acknowledge us either. We are campers that have been in the for 4 years and we were looking forward to one last trip before moving out of state. Their pizza was definitely one of the worst I had and I believe all the fried food ( fries wings jalapeño poppers) are frozen. I saw breadsticks and bread bites (most likely the piggie nuckles) we overly smothered in grease. Might be good for some drunk people at the bar but pizza isn't very hard to make good. That's not even the most disturbing part, after I tried it and asked a buddy about who used to work there I was told that management there is awful. The staff gets yelled at by kitchen manager quite often yet she does nothing to help with keeping the place sanitary. For example she allows the back staff to pick up food from the ground if dropped to prevent waste, never wears gloves even with salads but also hasn't once mentioned to staff to wash their hands, allows cats into the kitchen, and her and the staff will pick from your food. The front staff was also not very kind for having to make tips to earn money. I can't remember my servers name but she was a somewhat tall bigger and not told old. I feel like she was annoyed with the customers and was talk poorly about us to other workers. You could also her screaming from the kitchen when the door was open. The entire restaurant was very dirty. There was food all over the floor and some liquid in the men's bathroom on the floor as well. Not to mention there was old pizza sauce on our plates when brought to us by a younger boy. I never really leave reviews but I don't understand this place whatsoever. There are so many other local bars and pizza restaurants to visit in the area. Please save yourself, and money and skip this place. read more

When they gave me the wrong thing the manager came out of the back and started yelling at me for their mistake. This lady should not be in customer service. I live in the area and will go here from time to time. Tonight after working on my house I decided to bring the girlfriends son here for dinner. We came in and sat right down as they weren't very busy around 5:10 PM, the waiter and a trainee were at the table right away, here in lies the problem, the boy orders the spicey pepperoni 14" and I ordered the trof 12" and a beer, after 30 minutes we were told that our order would be right out , I sat and watched as 3 tables that came in about 10 to 15 minutes after us and were already eating , the waiter came up and said our food was coming out , we then proceeded to wait another 10 minutes. We finally got our pizza at 6:00 PM After the long wait we were told the kitchen was understaffed, ( interesting to say the least as other tables were getting their food first.... Food , was good and beer is cold but it will be a long while before I return! read more

Really Great Pizza. Delicious!! Only 3 stars do to the service. My mom and her BFF love this place because the pizza is amazing. The service last night kind sucked for us though. Slow, maybe due to them being busy. But that shouldn't change if ur slow or busy. Also they messed up our toppings on a few or our personal pizzas. I have never been so disrespected in my life called at 4:30 ordered dinner was told 45 min well 5:30 rolled around called to make sure was still coming and hot was told yea hot and in route half hour later driver showed up asked to see if pizza was hot stuck finger in was cold asked driver to do the same and she did and rudely said well we're busy after I refused called in to speak to manager as was paid on card for refund and directed me to kitchen manager which was even worse with attitude stated since I had a issue they will no longer deliver to us and no gm or corporate number to call and still no refund after the attitudes and rudeness I now see why there short handed if can speak to regular customers as such can only imagine how emplayers are treated read more
