We had a BLT personal pizza which was a bit, a cheese personal pizza (also a hit) a side salad loaded with extra veggies and my daughter made this weird sandwich, which she loved. Ahhh... Pisanellos. A northwest Ohio pizza chain for the smalltowns. I used to work at the video store behind Pisanellos and would always get a small pizza or breadsticks to hold me over on those slow nights. The staff was always great to me and the pizza was always excellent. It's higher quality in my book than the bigger chains because I'm pretty sure their dough is fresh and not frozen. I love their sauce, personally, and am always pleased by the flavor, even when I get my "boring old" pepperoni. I've been told that they have an excellent white pizza, but I was not so adventurous when we lived here so I did not get anything other than red sauce. We did order stuffed crust once at the BG location and it was really good. Pizza Hut still takes the cake for stuffed crust for me, though. The prices, I must say, are a bit steeper than Pizza Hut/Marcos, but the quality is worth it. Ask about their coupons!!! I love Pisanellos - it will always hold a special place in my favorite pizza places lineup. read more

Wonderful pizza!! This place is on the corner of a nice are of town. The staff are friend and courteous. The dining experience is amazing as soon as the entrees hit the table! I don't usually leave reviews but I had to this time. This place rocks!!!!! The bread sticks are amazing which left us wondering how the pizza would be. It did not let us down. Very good pizza. Get one of their "specialty" pizzas and you will be happy. A locals place but we did not feel out of place (we're from New Orleans). Staff is very friendly. No beer or wine though is a downer. read more

We stopped in here as we were traveling thru town and we got a pizza and chicken parm sub. The pizza dough was medium thickness and doughy. It was very flavorful. Looking for local places to eat. Decided on this place. Good choice! Service was great, very friendly staff, walk up to the counter to order and watch the professional pizza tosser create our pizza base as we watched from the table. The pizza was very good. We had one with many multiple toppings and extra cheese in one side. Also had breadsticks which were good as well.
