I've run out of ways to say how good this place is so I had to come over to Yelp just to keep…read moretalking about it. Tipsy Unicorn is one of those spots you don't just stumble into... you find it. And once you do, you realize pretty quickly why people keep coming back. I've been here more times than I can count, and somehow it still feels like a great find every single time. The food is legit. Not just something to go along with a drink, but something you actually look forward to. That Dagwood wrap in the photo... stacked, fresh, and exactly what you want when you sit down and take a breath for a bit. Simple, done right. And the flights... always the move. They're thoughtfully crafted, and what really stands out is how much intention is behind everything they're doing. There's a creativity here that goes beyond just what's on the board. You can feel it in how the beers are built and how they're meant to be experienced. It gives you something a little different every time without ever feeling forced. But what really makes this place what it is... it's the feel. I'm not from here, and not once have I ever felt like an outsider. It's one of those places that just pulls you in. Comfortable, easy, and genuinely welcoming in a way that's hard to fake. And the people... they want you to feel at home. And they absolutely deliver on that. I've posted about this place more times than I probably should have already, and here I am again. That probably tells you everything you need to know. Get off the interstate. Go find it. Support local when you can. It matters. This is one of those spots.

We absolutely love this little taste of Paris. Anytime our sweet tooth kicks in or we start…read morereminiscing about Paris, and honestly France as a whole, we almost always end up at Mon Délice. We have been coming here for years, and it has consistently delivered a wonderful experience every single time. This is truly a French pâtisserie right out of France. The authenticity is obvious from the moment you walk in, from the atmosphere to the care put into every pastry and dish. From their fresh, flavorful sandwiches to my wife's all-time favorite Pavlova, everything we have tried has been beautifully prepared and genuinely delicious. The quality really stands out, and you can tell pride and tradition go into what they create. The owners, who are authentically French, add an extra layer of charm and credibility, and the staff are equally welcoming. They are kind, patient, and always happy to guide you if you are unsure what to order, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you are looking for a place that offers both savory bites and outstanding desserts, this spot is absolutely worth seeking out. Whether you want something sweet, a light meal, or simply a cozy café atmosphere that feels like a brief escape to France, Mon Délice is an easy recommendation. Give it a try. There is a very good chance you will walk out already planning your next visit. And very important: Don't forget to give the standard, properly French "Bon Jour!" when you step through the door. They will appreciate the reminder of home. (Plus it is the acceptable greeting all French make as they enter certain establishments.)

The pears in the tart were flavorful, but the crust was wet, and soggy. I don't think anything I sampled was fresh baked. In addition, the display case lacked the overall fancy appearance of a patisserie. The staff were friendly and patient. The shop could use a facelift.

That said, the food matches up with outstanding food experience in taste, presentation and overall culinary offerings!! I missed photos of our starters; Soup of the Day - Crab and Corn Chowder and Potato Latke. The chowder had great flavor and plenty of vegetables and crab with each bite. The base was thinner than a traditional chowder but still very delicious. Latkes were good but I saw the foie gras go to another table and wish we had tried that instead. All of the entrees were delicious. Filet was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The Tile fish was beautifully prepared. Very light and flavorful with the fennel salad and bean cassoulet. The winner was the House-made gnocchi. Deep in flavors and the gnocchi melted in your mouth. Because they were made with flour (vs potato), they were like pillows of goodness on a plate. We were tapped out...and then we looked at the dessert menu. Banana pudding caught our attention and it did not disappoint. Beautiful layering of banana jam (think banana foster), pudding, wafers and whip cream. Great end to the meal! We will be back...maybe even twice on trip!
