I've been pampered, had my hair…read more"fixed" from extensive damage I do to it with too much salt water & sun, flat irons, blow drying, taking brushes through it, etc. First, the management makes every effort to make it a physically beautiful environment. Politely offered beverage services, snacks, hair style lookbooks, a comfy waiting area and a full suite of products round out the amenities. ( As of this posting, ownership has installed full-spectrum, eco-responsible lighting that naturally illuminates- giving you and your stylist true color representation, resulting in effects that look great when you emerge into natural light.)
As for the talent, I have my main guru Tracey, but have had to use the services of other team members when my schedule doesn't work with Tracey. Mary Jean, Nicole, and a host of others have stepped in to do wonderful updos, cuts and color, straightening, etc. When things get busy at the salon, the team help each other out. They support each other, making it a wonderful, smooth operation. It's just a solid team, working hard to make every guest feel welcome, cared for and beautiful. As for the errant negative reviews, we live in a world where, sadly, entitlement rules. People want to have *everything* delivered to them *immediately* for a cost next to nothing- and they want it done exactly like how they picture it in their minds- no matter how much it may defy all natural laws of physics. I'll stick with working as a research scientist, thank you- it's far easier than owning a salon.
You can't please everyone as a business owner, but every three months or so, I get to see a group of talented professionals give it their all toward this end. Kudos- and a big thank you- to all of the talent at Salon Coco Bond for doing all you do. Keep up the great work!
