Love my brows! So, I decided to see Annie to get my brows done. And wow, it came out way better than I expected. Annie was able to match my natural hair color perfectly. As I am approaching 60, I noticed my brows are getting many gray hairs. My mom's a retired hairdresser and she always told me not to use my hair color on my brows to prevent them from possibly being ruined. So I decided to try this brow service. Let me tell you the threading was pretty painless and the brow coloring and shaping came out on point. The shape was not too big & not to small, it was perfect and looked so natural. I got it done 9 days ago and I'm happy to say that my brows still look amazing. I will probably wait to see how long it takes to wear off and then I will go back. No need to pencil in my brows, nothing, they are just there and perfect. Annie's patient, and has the most steady hands ever. Try this at least once and you will believe what I'm saying. So worth it. if I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely the worst hair color I have ever received. I have been getting blonde highlights for over 20 years and this stylist was the worst, even though the website said her specialty was extreme blondes. i went and saw Dana for a consultation. stressed that I wanted platinum and lighter, brighter, whiter highlights to help conceal the gray. I ended up with brown and ashy highlights. my hair is multiple shades darker than when I went in. Don't be fooled. I regret ever going to this salon and stylist. NEVER again. DEFINITELY NOT lighter, brighter, or whiter. Stay away! read more

I saw Mallory recently, and did my best to explain how I wanted my naturally wavy and somewhat unruly/frizzy hair to look. I gave her a tall order- I want to maintain my long locks, make it look more full, and be able to just wash and go. Well, Mallory DELIVERED! I was a good customer, tipped well. Yet when I tried to reschedule (NOT cancel, mind you, reschedule!) a recent appointment with 24 hours' notice, I was informed that they require 48 hours' notice and that in order to reschedule I'd have to pay a $23 late fee! Really? Most healthcare practices, mine included, require only a 24-hour window and are flexible with it, especially if a client/patient wishes to reschedule. Great way to build customer loyalty, especially in an area where there are more hair salons than you can count. Taking my business elsewhere. It's really geared toward Gen X and Z clients anyway, and they could care less about older ones. So if you're over 40, especially male, avoid this place. read more

After recently moving to Atlantic Highlands from Brooklyn, I was nervous about finding a new place to get my hair cut. Mallory, the owner of the salon, erased any doubt. To be honest, she did a better job than anyone who cut my hair in Brooklyn! My hair is thin and wavy, and she cut it in a way that I don't have to do much and it still looks good. Not only that, it went from just being this frizzy mess to actually looking curly. In short, she is very good at cutting layers and accentuating waves and curls. I had the best haircut by Sarah! I was her model. She listened to what kind of cut I wanted gave me some options on what needed to be done for a healthy cut and at the end made me feel really happy with my haircut for someone who only goes three times a year. Great Salon! I'm moving from the city to Highlands and I decided to try this Salon for some highlights and a cut, finding a good hairstylist can be painstaking however I was lucky enough to find this place in Atlantic Highlands steps away from the ferry, Liz was great she did exactly what I wanted with the color and cut and I've already received so many compliments on and its only been a day since sporting my new sunkissed locks and cut ! I was super nervous about going to a salon during COVID but Craft House has been really on top of the precautions they were taking and communicating this via email. I booked a dry cut for my thick curly hair with Mallory and could not be happier. She was extremely thorough in her consultation with me about her technique and expectations. She worked with me to figure out exactly the best shape for me to get the volume I wanted while keeping my length. I LOVE my cut!!! We just moved down here a few weeks ago from Manhattan. I was nervous to go to a new place because I've been going to the same person for the longest time in the city. But, wow did this place blow me out of the water. From the thorough, prompt, clear communication by Mallory who really helped accommodate me and what I was looking for, to Liz's sweet and welcoming personality and on point haircut (and stellar blow dry)...and to take nothing away from others...but Dana's color...there aren't enough words to express how happy, impressed and relieved I am. Nicole did an amazing job with my cut and color. She gave me a great cut that works well for wearing my hair both curly and straight. The color came out vibrant and natural which can be tricky with red. Loved the atmosphere and vibe the salon filled with plants and fine art. I took the drive out to this salon today and I couldn't be happier. I went here for a wash and blowout. Upon entering the salon I was greeted by members of the staff and asked if I was interested in a cup of coffee or water. I said water and they added cucumbers which is my favorite. While I was waiting for Nicole, who was finishing up on another client, Alison another one of the stylists helped me pass the time with some conversation. That may not seem like much to some people but the fact that she took her time to make me feel welcome really did make a difference in my experience. Once it was my turn I was provided with a green cape and was brought over to the sink. Nicole took her time washing my hair, making sure that the shampoo was spread through out. She gave me an amazing scalp massage as well, which was by far one of the most relaxing massages I've had in a while. After that I was brought to the styling chair (all their chairs are comfortable). After assessing my hair she got the proper products that would be most likely to help repair my hair and she got to work. I have very thick long hair but Nicole got my hair done in record time and I'm obsessed with it. My hair feels so clean, looks hydrated and has so much body to it now! Overall I am very please with this salon. It's very clean, the staff makes you feel important and they are fairly priced! I highly recommend giving this salon a try! Mallory has been cutting my hair on and off for the past 12 years. I have always lived about an hour from her salons but her cuts are totally worth the drive. She takes the time to understand how your hair naturally falls and always gives a complex cut that grows out beautifully.
