We've tried four prior stylists and struggled to find a stylist who really understood how to work with his hair texture. Before the first appointment, we texted a few pictures to her of realistic styles in the direction he wanted to go. The first cut was perfect and we've had her follow this general direction for the next two cuts. Liz begins each appointment by cutting his hair and thoroughly texturizing it - all while it is still dry. This allows her to see the curl patterns in his hair and the visual weight while dry. Then she shampoos and razor cuts the hair to further fine-tune the curl pattern and carefully removes the extra "weight". We've never experienced this level of detail and it is difficult to understand just how much of a difference this artistry makes. It is especially helpful when you are too busy to make an appointment. He was really overdue for both cuts between visits, but her technique allows it to still look solid even when it's grown out 2". His texture probably helps to disguise the need for a cut (versus straight hair), but with the other salons, the overgrown shape was puffy, yet lifeless, and definitely unflattering. Her pricing is EXTREMELY fair to her customers; perhaps not so fair for herself, given the time invested and stellar level of service provided. I tip GENEROUSLY to let her know just how much we appreciate her truly professional service. I would also like to mention the BEST PART- Liz is absolutely lovely! She is intuitive, charming, and listens very well. We find our conversations energizing and really look forward to "visiting" with her.

The first time I visited Karley she asked me what I wanted and I was trying to describe some highlights but cover the grey coming through, she recommended a balayage style and I said "YES" but also thought "yeah right, you can't do that with my horribly sad hair".
