I am a medium brunette and had some balayage for summer. I wanted to tone it down for fall (which I've had done before successfully). I had a photo and video of the color I desired (which is just a toned down version of what I had). The dimensions were already in my hair from the balayage and my natural color. The girl tried to talk me into low lights which I was confused about. I asked to just tone it. Well, she did and my hair was almost black! I was so surprised and shocked. When I called the next day to speak with a manager she offered no help. And then told me to call her back next week! I'm sorry as a business owner I would call a client to check on them if they weren't satisfied and I would NOT tell them it was their problem. I wanted to start off with stating the fact that the stylist I had was just simply amazing. She was kind, compassionate, listen to what I wanted and did a great job with my root touch up and bang trim. Really my only issue is that I was not draped properly for my color service. I had just purchased a new white shirt with mini/low mock turtle neck. A towel was never placed around my neck/shoulders. When I got home, I realized the back/top of the collar of my shirt had gotten permanent hair color all over it. This was a huge disappointment. It was literally my first day wearing it and I really just loved it but it's pretty ruined at this point unless I wear my hair down, which I dont a lot. I understand my shirt of choice for this color service could have been different, but I also know there are things that can be done as stylists to minimize accidents like this. My only other quick take away was that I was hoping to liven up the highlights that I had that were dull/lacking luster and had faded quite a bit. I was hoping to feeling the tone of them but I didn't really notice a difference in color. But my hair was shiny and my stylist did an AMAZING job with my blow out and making me feel really beautiful when I left. Again, I was just so disappointed about the fact that my new shirt was ruined and the glaze to tone down/deepen the color wasn't really as noticeable as I had hoped.. but overall, I love this salon. The staff is incredible friendly and kind and I have no doubt that this was just a one off experience. I hate to leave negative feedback but want to compliment my stylists bedside manner, kindness and her over skill set which was clearly great. read more

Very nice and friendly staff. My barber was doing a great job. The place looks amazing. My hair came out just like what I want. But when I got home, seeing that some parts of my hair is longer, and I had to trim it myself. The range is a little longer than I expected. Next time, will have to get it shorter. read more

She is the best! I have went to this place for 4 years now and I would TOTALLY hands down make the 30 minute drive from Pewaukee anyday. All the stylists are so skilled here! & I really love how the owner is ALWAYS in the salon and has her own clientele and is just as active in the workplace as her employees! It's a warm and fuzzy feeling and everyone makes you feel welcomed and noticed. I'm always nervous trying new salons, but I was hopeful in Wildheart Salon because I saw their examples of coloring they did on clients and they were beautiful. I can definitely say they did not disappoint! My coloring was pretty difficult to get to but Suzanne got it spot on! She did exactly what I wanted. You attempted to fix my hair which I appreciate and I wanted very badly to make your salon my new salon. You were not very attentive even though I was your only customer. You applied the toners and walked away (you did not stay by me like all the other stylists watching the color) so that was a mistake that keeps repeating as you applied more and more toner (3-4 toners and maybe you did a bleach wash which made my hair break and I did not ask for or know about but toner shouldn't damage my hair)to correct the color. You never stayed or watched the color process instead after you realized your mistake that I should tell all future stylists my hair pulls color quickly and is porous. I did not insist on doing it my way, you did mention the color your way and as I had never done that method was not sure or aware that this was a method. I don't go to hair salons paying higher end prices so that I have to figure out myself how to achieve the color I am looking for. My hair was already light so you did not have to highlight my hair. I had 4.5 weeks of outgrowth at the root. You had to lighten only my root and apply a toner/gloss on my hair. I made it clear to you I did not want warmth in my hair but cool tones you did not listen. You made my hair more warm color overall. I have a banding of hair that was clearly from your lightening my root which was very warm as compared to my other hair. You fixed my hair to an acceptable level temporarily which is why I was waiting to be fair for my review but as soon as the toner washed out it was clear I had a band from your service that was very obvious. Don't blame me. If you didn't feel confident doing this method and could've achieved this look another way I was open. You didn't want me to feel uncomfortable so you decided that it would be better to attempt this. I would not of been comfortable with this!!!! Knowing that I wouldn't also have done this. So not my fault and had it been ok after toner washed out and not obvious color difference banding I wouldn't have reviewed Bc you would've corrected your mistake. Other people reading this will see you are going to blame them and spin things to hold your client accountable instead of the professional which is you. Ps I paid for the service and tipped you and I lost 6 +hours of my time in total and I needed to come back a second time. Again your hair has been warned, finding a new stylist is tricky and many lady's all have horror stories from finding a new stylist- this is a bad experience and in the future watch the toners then you might avoid needed to color correct. read more
