We easily caught it using a humane trap and re-located it yet in a few days, another little mouse appeared in the house. Again, we humanely caught and re-located the new mouse, only to have this routine go on and ON. We thought we were very savvy, looking at every possible point of entry: stuffing copper wire meshing in all suspicious little holes surrounding our foundation & even put stucco in a few bigger openings. However, one at a time, mice kept sneaking into our home! We found Steve & his company Elite Animal Control on an internet search and reached out to him. Within one day, he came over, spent a great deal of time really inspecting & investigating all possible openings. He took his time (and expertise) to eliminate ALL imaginable entrances. However, another little mouse was seen and again we humanely caught/re-located it and then called Steve. THIS situation kept us on our toes for a few weeks...Steve came back a few times and with each visit he discovered a different opening until-NO MORE MICE!!! Steve is, first of all, a VERY thoughtful, intelligent, clever and caring man! We could tell he was SO experienced in the business of thinking like a mouse! AND! He NEVER advocated for harming the mice-yet he did share he has had some jobs which required many means of rodent removal. He has a construction background and clearly understands how foundations, walls, insulation, ducts, plumbing, floors, etc all fit together AND could be ideal places for mice to march in & live. We learned SOOO much from Steve (& we thought we knew a lot!). We HIGHLY recommend Steve & Elite Animal Control to help you with ANY critter-issue you encounter. He is kind, knowledgeable, caring and REALLY knows how to solve animal control issues!

So I am posting it here instead. This all happened the day before Thanksgiving last year. -------------------------------------- I appreciate how quickly they responded and came out. I don't appreciate being made out to be the crazy woman making things up though. I went out of town back in July and have been plagued with a rash on my legs and stomach ever since. I went to the dermatologist who did a biopsy which came back as most likely bug bites and she advised I get an exterminator out to my house, which is what I did. Not once did I attempt to diagnose myself. I've had rashes before and every time there has been a medical reason. Just because you didn't find anything doesn't mean I have "delusional parisitosis". I'm not making things up, I'm not "so convinced I have bug bites" frankly I have no idea what's going on with me but to be treated like a crazy woman imagining things is enraging. I didn't react much because obviously that feeds into the "hysterical woman" trope but come on. It's 2021. Stop dismissing women as crazy. I bet if it had been my husband with a rash that wouldn't have come up. So if you're a woman suffering from a rash that may or may not be bug bites, this company will dismiss you as a crazy person if they don't find anything. He also made sure to tell us about some other clients that were gossip worthy including a hoarder house so I expect he's telling other clients about the crazy woman who was clearly delusional and wouldn't accept that she needed help.

Been a big fan of this company and have used them for many services b/c of the initial great job…read morethey did with a skunk issue, but the business management/office management has become a major issue and the overall service has declined. They cannot keep up with details, especially in scheduling and billing. Everyone is nice enough, but this is NOT a professional, well-oiled machine that gives customer confidence anymore. I believe they have hired a new office manager that can hopefully turn it around, but it was a little too late for me, and I'm sharing this info so that hopefully they can get back to being a good company. I am still getting calls for a "scheduled" specialized lawn service treatment that I haven't had with them in years, which I dropped b/c it was originally quoted as part of a full flat fee 1 yr overall treatment plan, only to have them tell me many MONTHS later that they had to bill me separately for it as it was listed incorrect on the treatment quote (contract) that I had already paid! I actually dropped them for lawn service entirely last year (and was called again this year about having an appointment); while they were treating my yard, it actually got worse, and I brought it to their attention multiple times, and was given various other reasons as being the issue like - when I water, or how I was cutting it on time of day, height, etc. After a few years of this, I decided I had to try someone else. Once I switched to a different company, doing same as I always have with watering and cutting, my lawn was considerably better in a few weeks and has continued to be better than when they treated it. They also sprayed my flowerbed and burned all my flowerbed plants but tried to tell me it was water issues, though I saw the guy spraying my flower bed, and prior to him, i had never had that issue, nor did I have that issue this year with the new company I am using. Their pest service is reasonably priced, and unlike Terminix that had to come back multiple times in a quarter for lack of effectiveness, their quarterly treatments do seem to hold up. Only problem here has been with the scheduling/rescheduling and communication of appointments which is important to me b/c I have to be home for them to treat in house fully, and it has been a huge hassle getting appointments set and followed up on in timely manner. Even had an appointment, saw the tech pull up, but then they drove off and nothing was said. I called 30 minutes later to find out what was going on, to be told they had something come up and couldn't make the appointment, and I had to ask why they didn't call me to tell me that and it was a vague response that was clear it never crossed their mind. And then I they didn't get me rescheduled for almost a MONTH later, that I had to keep calling them to ask about. So maybe regular service treatment plans just isn't their thing and one-off projects are it.

Ultimately, his partner did make it out the following Monday and started to address the problem. And this ant issue was no ordinary infestation - it was like Ant-Mageddon with flying ants throughout the inside of the house and crawling up walls, etc. My tenants were continually vacuuming them up for over a week and were not enjoying things. Iseland made 4 separate trips out to the property to add bait and ultimately got things under control. This ant issue has been recurring for a number of years but had never been that bad. It started again this last summer and Iseland came out again and I think they now have nailed the problem. I also had them come out to a different property this fall to help with a pretty serious rat and mouse problem. Justin put together a plan with bait traps and had the problem completely under control within a few days. I'll be signing up with Iseland for a regular treatment program and based on my experiences so far, I recommend them!
