Best coffee in the Grand Rapids suburbs! This has now become my go to coffee spot. Great coffee with exciting seasonal specials. Friendly staff with excellent service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute little seating areas scattered around the building.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Limited but great food menu.

Wildroast is my go-to place for coffee & tea, when I'm in town. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a great place to work, hang with friends, or read a book.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The mocha & Rainer tea are fantastic and all the baristas are so kind.

Came here for a spot to study and get some work done. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Really spacious with tons of options for seating. There's even an outdoor patio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Drinks and food are basic but good, with some cooler summer vibe options for drinks. Everybody working here is really chill and helpful.

I stopped in to grab a coffee to-go and I liked the vibe of this coffee shop with the macrame wall art and multiple seating rooms. I got an iced vanilla latte for $5.50 and I enjoyed it. The staff were very nice.

You guys... I just got a delicious hand made cappuccino and a ham and cheese croissant for the SAME PRICE as a McDonald's breakfast meal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is so much nicer and the staff were so friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Def come here for breakfast if you have some time to sit and enjoy your surroundings.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I am a huge fan! I am very much a regular (at the the drive thru on weekdays) and I stop in to the cafe everyone now and then when I have meetings or need to just sit and breath! [[HIGHLIGHT]]This location is so cozy and usually pretty busy as people also have meetings or work from here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's also a great mom meet up! I like to sit outside with my mom friends and enjoy some coffee while the kids drink hot chocolate![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff here has always been amazing! This recent visit the barista was so nice and patient as I had my two little ones who just wanted to explore the place while I tried to order. They have an amazing selection of coffee, lemonades and teas. Our favorite hands down is the coconut lemonade (seasonal) and my go to is the Hazelnut latter with almond milk hot or cold. Things to note: they have street parking in front or a lot in the back with a back door entrance. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also like the darker moodier tones inside it gives a more relaxed elevated feel![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also now expanded their food menu! And to top off such a great experience here, I dropped my credit card outside of the coffee shop and the team reached out to me asap and held my card until I was able to swing back for it! Great people!

I went to Wildroast for the first time recently to meet up with a friend. I got there not expecting it to be sooo busy! 99% of the seats were taken so I got a little panicky as it looked like most people were going to be chilling there for awhile working. I luckily snagged the last seat open on a couch near another group and went up to the counter to order. Menu is your typical coffee shop options so I went with my go-to, an oat milk latte. The space is really nice with a couple different rooms and nooks, which makes it nice for meeting with a friend or working. The couch was very comfortable too. The latte was good, but they do that thing where they just call out the name of your drink instead of asking for your name (my biggest coffee shop pet peeve). Otherwise it was a nice experience and I loved the atmosphere. There's plenty of parking in the lot behind the building and it's right off the highway, which makes it easy to get to. Wildroast isn't super close to my house, but I'll keep it on my list of coffee spots in the greater GR area.

My favorite coffee shop! Parking is easy with the lot in the back, [[HIGHLIGHT]]ambiance is great with such a cozy environment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The pastries are so good!! Coffee is amazing! Service has always been super quick and stuff is very friendly.

This was my first time here, and it will definitely not be my last!! First things first, the parking is a bit tricky especially during peak times. There is a parking lot in back and some other lots in the same area, but it does fill up quickly. Second, it was packed! Again, check for peak times!! I was there with my laptop to get some work done, but because of where I got an open table, there was not an outlet. The seating in general is awesome, though. There are different areas/rooms that allow for a lot of different types of seating. There are a couple bar type seats that face the windows, there are some half booths, a couple arm chairs, and plenty of 4 seat and 2 seat tables in each area. It did get kind of loud due to how many people were there. There was music but that was calming and pretty quiet background noise. I got the Rooibos tea, and it was exactly what I wanted! I guess it wasn't exceptional, but I'm not enough of a tea-drinker to know the difference. It was very good. As for price, that WAS exceptional! A lot of coffee shops charge a lot more especially when they offer as good of an environment as this place does, but we paid $6 for 2 different drinks. I've paid upwards of $5-$6 for a single tea before elsewhere. Overall I loved it! Not necessarily the best place for work, I'd prefer going here to catch up with friends or something, but I will be returning!

    Luke W.

Beautiful and classy downtown coffee vibes, some easy to find street parking, lots of room for a remodelled old city center, and perfected menu served by friendly faces. We both ran in and out, also discovering clean and designer bathrooms, grabbing the salted maple cardamom and pumpkin spice lattes on the way. Wished for paper cups to go but few have adjusted out from plastic yet, couldn't complain about the contents, well balanced, spice forward, and tasty brews, having a four hour drive home was eased with Wildroast starting us off! Wish we could have spent more time in this well lit and cozy java joint.

It's in my community, right on my daily route, and I'm a big coffee & tea person. My first few visits were excellent, and I even purchased several gift cards for friends and family because I was excited to share it. However, I've experienced some recurring issues lately that make it harder to feel good about returning. For example: -The espresso was sour on a couple of visits (though I appreciated that it was addressed when I brought it up). -I once paid using the app in the drive-thru and was shocked when the employee took my phone to scan it and selected the maximum tip amount without asking me. -They updated their app recently, and no one mentioned it ahead of time. When I asked staff, they said they weren't sure on how to use it either. -The current process is clunky--you have to scan two separate codes (one for rewards, one to pay), and it's a hassle passing the phone back and forth. -The caprese sandwich I ordered was soggy and I felt it was just tossed in the bag. They were busy this day and I'm assuming it sat out before it got to me. -Most seasonal drinks are always sold out, which is a letdown when you're looking forward to trying something new. It's such a beautiful space, and the drive-thru is a huge plus. I've been to other locations of this same brand and had great service and food. Maybe this location just needs time to work out some kinks--but I hope they do, because I'd love to keep supporting them.

I asked for a pour over and was told it would be a 30-minute wait - definitely not waiting 30 minutes for a coffee, so I opted for a chai tea latte instead. Our order consisted of two drinks and a breakfast sandwich. My wife had a $50 electronic gift card in the foxtail app that she was planning to use, when she asked the person ringing up the transaction how to use it, she had no idea how to access it for payment. Rather than hold up the line any longer, we skipped using the gift card and used another form of payment. After about a 10-minute wait, the breakfast sandwich was put on a plate and dropped off at the pick up area. I would have expected the drinks to come out at or at least near the same time, however after the sandwich sat there for a minute it two, I suggested my wife grab it and begin eating while it's still hot. Thankfully she did, as it took a few more minutes by the time our drinks were finally ready. The breakfast sandwich was decent, albeit really small, certainly not worth nearly $7. We normally get our coffee orders to go or use the drive-thru, we decided to dine in for a change - that was also a mistake. They have two seating areas, the main area was full and we didn't realize the "add-on" seating area is basically a 3-season room - an enclosed structure of mainly windows with some overhead heaters. After sitting out there for about 5 minutes, we decided to leave since our feet were freezing. As for the drinks, my wife said her latte was good; my chai tea latte on the other hand - nope! I've never had a chai tea latte hit the back of my throat so hard with a lingering irritation. I had to stop drinking it about half way through. Not a great first impression.

I go to this Meijer all the time and finally stopped for a coffee here. The menu is pretty generous, most anything you'd find at any big name coffee shop. Lots of syrup options for lattes or teas, and various smoothies and milk shakes on the menu. Looked like they offer some specials too as well as a small food menu. They have a small but fairly cozy seating area- nice for enjoying a speciality beverage while someone shops! I just got a coffee with pumpkin syrup in it, nothing fancy. But it was tasty and fresh! The tables look like they came out of an old diner and the chairs are what you would expect to find in a bingo hall or American Legion. None of the furniture looks new and some of it looks pretty beat up. The coffee itself tasted pretty good but they don't have anywhere near the selection of ingredients and variations that Starbucks had. I don't order extravagant coffee drinks so I suppose that doesn't bother me too much personally. But if you're the type that orders coffee with a bunch of complicated ingredients and flavors and such then you're going to be disappointed. My wife, for example, can only drink decaf coffee and they don't offer that at all (which just seems stupid for a coffee shop). Honestly, I'm getting a little tired of the Starbucks coffee monopoly and all the excessive and ridiculous coffee customizations they offer, but if you're going to replace Starbucks in a locale that gets thousands of shoppers each day you really should bring your A-game and shoot to fill those big shoes. This is more like the coffee shop you would expect to find in a community college student lounge. The bottom line: if you are just looking for a quick basic coffee fix while you shop this will probably be adequate (unless you want something complicated or decaffeinated). Just don't get your hopes up too high.
