This place is perfect! I'm traveling through Michigan while working remotely and this has been my favorite spot so far. Lots of seating and great espresso pulls. Avocado toast was a good sized portion. I like the ample seating options and availability of seats. Service was friendly except for the male barista who cut in front of me to put away coffee cups grabbing a fork and napkin. I am a huge fan! I am very much a regular (at the the drive thru on weekdays) and I stop in to the cafe everyone now and then when I have meetings or need to just sit and breath! This location is so cozy and usually pretty busy as people also have meetings or work from here. It's also a great mom meet up! I like to sit outside with my mom friends and enjoy some coffee while the kids drink hot chocolate! The staff here has always been amazing! This recent visit the barista was so nice and patient as I had my two little ones who just wanted to explore the place while I tried to order. They have an amazing selection of coffee, lemonades and teas. Our favorite hands down is the coconut lemonade (seasonal) and my go to is the Hazelnut latter with almond milk hot or cold. Things to note: they have street parking in front or a lot in the back with a back door entrance. The space is clean. I also like the darker moodier tones inside it gives a more relaxed elevated feel! They also now expanded their food menu! And to top off such a great experience here, I dropped my credit card outside of the coffee shop and the team reached out to me asap and held my card until I was able to swing back for it! I went to Wildroast for the first time recently to meet up with a friend. I got there not expecting it to be sooo busy! 99% of the seats were taken so I got a little panicky as it looked like most people were going to be chilling there for awhile working. I luckily snagged the last seat open on a couch near another group and went up to the counter to order. Menu is your typical coffee shop options so I went with my go-to, an oat milk latte. The space is really nice with a couple different rooms and nooks, which makes it nice for meeting with a friend or working. The couch was very comfortable too. The latte was good, but they do that thing where they just call out the name of your drink instead of asking for your name (my biggest coffee shop pet peeve). Otherwise it was a nice experience and I loved the atmosphere. There's plenty of parking in the lot behind the building and it's right off the highway, which makes it easy to get to. Wildroast isn't super close to my house, but I'll keep it on my list of coffee spots in the greater GR area. read more

Stopped in at Wild Roast Coffee Co. after a long drive from up north with a friend, and it was exactly what we needed. The coffee was excellent, the lunch options were satisfying, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Service was friendly and everything came out quickly. Just visiting the area, but I noticed that if i wanted to get some work done, Wild Roast Coffee would be the spot. It's spacious, has ample tables to sit on (individuals and groups), clean and has coffee coffee. On the menu are your regular coffee options. I loved the iced vanilla so much that I also ordered a caramel iced coffee :) they also have pastries but didn't but any at this time. 12 ounce coffees are $4.50 for 12 ounce or $5 for a 16 ounce. Added syrups like vanilla, hazelnut or caramel are an additional $.50. read more

This was my first time here, and it will definitely not be my last!! First things first, the parking is a bit tricky especially during peak times. There is a parking lot in back and some other lots in the same area, but it does fill up quickly. Second, it was packed! Again, check for peak times!! I was there with my laptop to get some work done, but because of where I got an open table, there was not an outlet. The seating in general is awesome, though. There are different areas/rooms that allow for a lot of different types of seating. There are a couple bar type seats that face the windows, there are some half booths, a couple arm chairs, and plenty of 4 seat and 2 seat tables in each area. It did get kind of loud due to how many people were there. There was music but that was calming and pretty quiet background noise. I got the Rooibos tea, and it was exactly what I wanted! I guess it wasn't exceptional, but I'm not enough of a tea-drinker to know the difference. It was very good. As for price, that WAS exceptional! A lot of coffee shops charge a lot more especially when they offer as good of an environment as this place does, but we paid $6 for 2 different drinks. I've paid upwards of $5-$6 for a single tea before elsewhere. Overall I loved it! Not necessarily the best place for work, I'd prefer going here to catch up with friends or something, but I will be returning! read more

Beautiful and classy downtown coffee vibes, some easy to find street parking, lots of room for a remodelled old city center, and perfected menu served by friendly faces. We both ran in and out, also discovering clean and designer bathrooms, grabbing the salted maple cardamom and pumpkin spice lattes on the way. Wished for paper cups to go but few have adjusted out from plastic yet, couldn't complain about the contents, well balanced, spice forward, and tasty brews, having a four hour drive home was eased with Wildroast starting us off! Very pretentious, kind of felt made fun of after ordering off of the menu. The lady taking my order was not very polite and loudly and awkwardly made it seem like I had no idea how to order, (its just a coffee shop). The chai I got had chunks of solid milk floating with the ice and the Capaccino I ordered was dry (as I requested), but the shot were definitely pulled at 30-40 seconds leaving it tasting kind of rank. read more

In the process, I found the coffee shop I'm excited to be a regular at, even if it's only on a weekly basis. With plenty of separate areas, the space accommodates those looking to focus as well as those looking to socialize. Quality wise, the drinks are always AMAZING- confirmed by multiple trips back even after my study period. To top it off, as shown by the quote above, the baristas have always been friendly, prompt, and so enthusiastic about their work and craft; you really can't help but enjoy your drink with that kind of attitude. I needed to get work done and my partner wanted some coffee, so why not go to Wild Roast Coffee? I liked how it was spacious with lots of space that allowed me to attend my meeting. There's indoor and outdoor sitting and I'm glad that I was able to stay indoors with minimal distractions. I had no issue with logging on to their WiFi cause there was so password to log in. It was convenient that Wild Roast was on the way to our destination I got a 12 ounce chai latte for $5 that was 4/5. read more

Our coffee was made quickly, but we sat waiting for 25 minutes for our food (there were 4 other guests who already had their items) while the employees chatted. When we finally asked about our food.. they said "oh you didn't get a text?"... no, we never gave anyone our number, nor were we told our food would be "around the corner on a shelf". The employees chatted who took our order TO GO sat there chatting as well and never mentioned our food was "around the corner". Poor customer service, and thanks to lack of that.... I stopped in for a cold drink on a super hot day. It's a great space with lots of comfortable seating and the employees were helpful and friendly. I'm not a coffee drinker and always hesitate to order tea, as most coffee shops don't know how to make a proper cup of tea. This place is an exception. The cup of iced green tea I ordered was made to perfection and was one of the best cups of iced tea I've had away from home. Great coffee and great people. It's been fun to see how the workers have made friendships with many of their regulars and they're not shy to learning your name if they see you often enough. The workers are kind and you know they know what they're doing. They have plenty of room and outlets to study and work. And parking was never a problem for me. Internet works great. One of my favorite coffee shops to relax and read a book. I try different teas when I'm there and they are always so good. The staff has always been super pleasant and helpful and the shop is very clean and spacious. There are often students working in groups or gathering there but they are never too loud. From comfy chairs and a couch to tables and bar seating you have a nice variety of where to set up your area.
