I was so fed up with the atmosphere at my typical gym I was at and tired of people thinking they're better than everyone else and judging anyone and everyone who walked in the door so eventually I gave in and got a membership at IronHide and I am sooo happy I did. I will never be able to go back to a regular gym again. This gym is simply amazing. The minute I walked in the door I felt welcomed and immediately felt supported. There are people of ALL skill levels and all shapes and sizes and everyone is there to help you and push you to your best. I love that no matter who you are, what you look like or what your story is, no one is here to judge you, they're here to support you and help you not only reach your goals but exceed your goals. The competitiveness helps push me past what I ever thought I could do and I love every bit of it. The owners really care for you as a person and don't see you as just another number in their gym and you don't see that elsewhere. This place makes everyone feel like family and I couldn't ask for a better support system while working out or just when I need to vent. I know anyone at this gym will be there for me if I needed anything. I love to have fun while also being competitive when I'm working out and this place checks all the boxes. Working out on the clock, leaving machines racked and walking away for 20+ mins, leaving customers outside for far too long and a terrible attitude. His passive attitude in a place I used to love, drove me away. The trainers are amazing, and always have a smile on their face. The rules are completely over the top. You have to be 16+ just to use the hot tub, which already feels excessive, but banning pool noodles is next level ridiculous. I didn't even bring one, they literally had a whole bin of them there, just sitting there that no one is allowed to use. What is even the point of that? Then, after paying, I was forced to wait 30 minutes for absolutely no clear reason. No explanation, no organization, just standing around while time was wasted. It honestly felt like they didn't care at all. And the sanitation? Questionable at best. For a place that's supposed to be about swimming and cleanliness, it did not feel clean or well-maintained. Overall, this place manages to be strict, disorganized, and underwhelming all at once. Charging people for this kind of experience is wild. The plan is very clean and well maintained and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The prices are about the same as most yoga studios. I am a former yoga instructor and I'm pretty picky about my yoga classes. I've also practiced for over 7 years on a regular basis and on and off for about 15-16 yrs. I absolutely love their vinyasa style/power classes but felt the sculpt was just okay. I taught a lot of sculpt down in San Diego and we were trained to teach to the beat of the music + a heavy emphasis on verbal cues to set you up. I definitely will come back for the vinyasa classes again when things settle down a bit with covid and I'm in town again.

The studio is involved in community events such as the winter solstice river walk and Global Mala for Peace Day Sept. 21, and brings well-known yogis to the area for Sunday specials. All of the instructors and classes are great -- I go to soak in the spirit and harmony.
