It has a minimalistic meets industrial chic ambiance. I live in Seattle but I drive all the way here to see Kim for spa services, it's totally worth it! I've tried the facial, massage, and waxing services, and can confidently recommend all of them. This is not the swanky kind of spa that charges you for the "experience." The spa portion of the space is smaller but practical. I thought the one thing I couldn't live without was the waxing service. Kim uses the best quality wax that doesn't irritate my skin and makes it the least painful waxing experience I've had. One day, I decided to try a 30-minute massage with Kim and walked away feeling so relaxed and relieved of all my tension points, I had the most restful sleep that night. I've been coming back since then for the massage and I highly recommend it. Kim knows what she's doing and if you like deeper pressure points, she's your girl! The prices are more than reasonable for spa services. I have yet to try the workout classes, but looking forward to trying one soon. P.S. They are on mindbody, so you can book all the classes and services online. P.P.S. This place can be a bit hard to find on Google Maps, just look for Spud Fish & Chips.

I couldn't find a schedule online, but there are group classes (in trios) available daily. They have a billboard with the schedule in their facility. The STEAL: (4) private classes for $150+ tax. Who wouldn't do this? Intro new student offer only. I am classically trained so Stott was new. I'm still not sure exactly the difference, but I asked for a burn and I got it from Randy! I love that they use small weights while on the reformer for leg exercises. Trio classes are $35+ tax as a drop-in fee so they can be as low as $25 if purchased in a class series. My trio class was with Kelsey and I would definitely also go back to her. The studio is clean and equipment is clean. I've found that pilates instructors are hit and miss, so 2 for 2? I'll take it and I'll be back.

Once all 3 core machines where broken and one of the massage chairs has been broken for almost a month. The cleaning stations are almost always broken. They do an ok job of cleaning as well. Often dust around the machines and near walls. Part of the issue is the staff. There is one woman who works there who is super friendly and helpful the rest of the staff seem very disengaged. They just hover around the desk all day and don't do anything. It would be nice to see them help correct some of the bad behaviors that happen. People not cleaning equipment after use, not racking weights and slamming weights to name a few. For the price if you need a gym go for it.

From memberships to making sure you're well informed of classes, as well as lessons. Coach Brett is an amazing instructor, he'll describe every bit of detail about the move so that you'll leave every class literally mind-blown! Professor Mark is the lead instructor and is there every day the school has a class. From being four years old to an older guy/gal ready to retire (or ready for their mid-life crisis ), professor Mark will guide you each step of the way. You may come into class feeling scared, intimidated, and maybe you'll even regret signing up. I told him I was sorry as the spot wasn't marked reserved. He points to a tiny sign stalls away and says well it says it right there. Well most of the spots say reserved, the one I was in did not. I would never ever send my child to a place that talks to people the way he did over parking in the wrong spot. Can't imagine how they teach the kids in there. 0/10

My partner and I drove to Richmond Beach Saltwater Park today. It was a gorgeous day to be at the…read morebeach, and this beach is gorgeous! I don't know why, but I have always been scared crossing the bridge over the railroad tracks on the way from the parking lot to the beach. I have no fear of heights, and in fact I feel much more peaceful in the air or on the water than I do on the earth. The bridge is sturdy and safe, with tall, secure fencing on both sides. Little kids were crossing it today with no fear at all. One little kid was getting pulled across it in a large wagon. That was pretty cute to see. It is a bit of a trek from the parking lot to the beach area, a trek that includes this perfectly safe bridge which I somehow mysteriously feel scared while walking on. I recently injured my right heel playing tennis, so I was limping and hobbling and walking quite slowly, but this walk was still quite doable for me today. There were a lot of people at this beach park today, but it really didn't feel crowded, and everyone we talked to was friendly. The only slight bummer was that one of the reasons that we went out there today was to talk with a Naturalist from the Seattle Aquarium. We talked with 3 different Naturalists. They were all friendly enough, but all 3 of them seemed noticeably unenthusiastic about talking about the sea life at this beach park. Oh well, we moved on pretty quickly from that, and we really enjoyed this beach park anyway. There were a few people flying kites, and the mountains looked clear and bright behind the sunlit water. I waded in the water (one of my favorite things to do in life), and the cold waves breaking over my legs and feet felt wonderful on a hot day like today. 5 stars for sure. This place is so beautiful.
