Because of not having wax it is kept in the refrigerator for up to 6 months. It only takes about a minute for it to be ready to eat if you can wait that long. My favorite flavors are espresso sea salt and espresso orange liqueur. I do warn you that after eating this chocolate you will be addicted and spoiled for any other. Brutto ma Buono Cioccolato is ugly but good chocolate in Italian, but there is nothing ugly about it and good is an understatement!

But I can guarantee you that you'll buy more than expected if you do. I'm a fan of getting the dark truffles from the counter case, but I also enjoy grabbing a boxed set. They make great gifts. My uncle typically doesn't like chocolate and fruit, but he said the fruit truffles are very tasty. Some friends who received the wine truffles were big fans. I also give a big thumbs up to the chocolate-dipped ice cream bars! You can get vanilla ice cream or a frozen banana dipped in dark chocolate coating and rolled in a topping. For my first bar, I chose cookie crumbs. There's the added fun of watching them hand dip these to order, too. The chocolate coating is rich and balanced complement to the vanilla ice cream. It's an awesome "just because" treat.

I believe I've also seen their candy at stores like Market of Choice. For a few years this was my go-to place for caramel apples, so I was sad to see them close. They were a great local alternative to something like Rocky Mountain, and their candy and chocolates were better, in my opinion, than the somewhat overrated Euphoria. Give them a try if you catch their cart somewhere!

They primarily sell at fairs and festivals. I know they are always at the Lane County Fair in the summer.
