    Half pound assorted box

I love sees candies! They are such a classic nostalgic treat. I sent this assorted box to my parents for their anniversary last minute and it only got there 3 days after which I thought was really impressive. It was 30$ (not including shipping) which isn't terrible for high quality chocolates and considering how much they give you. You can't really go wrong with anything at sees but my families favorite are the scotch mallows. Definitely recommend coming here if you are in need for some gifts especially during the holiday season!

The best chocolate in town, and further if you ask me. Nothing compares. See's quality is unmatched and always consistent year after year. They have tons of options for picking a box or bag yourself. Or if you prefer the prepackaged options they have those ready to go! Chews, nuts, truffles, smaller sizes, larger sizes, lollipops, seasonal packaging, solid chocolates, filled chocolates, jelly candies, and much more! I love picking my own pieces since I know what I like and I'm particular. I love their rich dark chocolate truffles & pieces. They are so yummy! It's a great spot to treat yourself or gift to someone else. They have the old charm with the style and uniforms that makes it feel like you're going back in time visiting a candy shoppe. You can't beat how good it smells in there either! Always friendly staff with a smile on their face and never feel rushed while looking through the counter at all their options.

On our way to someplace else, my granddaughter in the back seat asked me to take a right turn and lo and behold, this is where we ended up. Apparently, she's been here before and knew just what she wanted and just how to guide me here. I'm not a candy kinda person so I listened as she described her favorites to the lady behind the counter. While the store was was empty, just having opened, the lady behind the counter took her time, listened and kindly helped my granddaughter make her selections. I'll give it 5 stars, for the helpfulness of the employee, the cleanliness of the store and the many available choices. Free parking right out front.

    Sooo good

Came Christmas Eve and it was great they had everything we wanted! The person who helped us wasn't the nicest but definitely knew their stuff. Just wish they could have been a bit friendlier but it's okay! Holidays are hard.

Super nice staff...and big and bright store (unlike Salem's location). Located just off Coburg Rd., in a small shopping complex.

The 200-foot long covered "Market Alley" is sandwiched between the three-story Market Building (commercial and retail space), the Gordon Lofts Apartments (retail facing the Market Alley) and the Gordon Hotel at the opposite end of the Alley (across from the original 5th Street Public Market area). The Market Alley section was uncrowded while I visited with a friend, even though the original Market area was packed. We were on the lookout for certain Pendleton products, so it was a good excuse to checkout the area while there. As a plus, Heritage Distilling Co. was offering free tastings. I was already familiar with their Dual Barrel (Vanilla) Bourbon Whiskey...the night before experimenting with various whiskeys and liquors mixed with eggnog...yes, whiskey goes great with eggnog! And you thought science wasn't fun ;-) It was nice to sample some of Heritage Distilling Co's other high quality spirits...all very good! So if you haven't been down to the Market Alley, I do recommend a visit.

I'd skip because at $19 that salad was straight highway robbery. See pictures with a fork for size comparison. Also got a burger with fries from the burger spot. That was really good and the beer battered fries were amazing!

So stopping at Bree's Way, which is a new-to-me store (I'm not sure it was here even four years ago when I came home to visit) was a must stop. The woman there was really friendly, but they didn't have anything that called to me. Their jewelry selection was ok but limited; mostly rings and some pendants. They sell some chains for the pendants. They also have a lot of the standard Tarot decks, some esoteric and occult-related merchandise, posters, crystals, and so on. Parking was not bad for me when I visited, but there's not a lot of parking on Alder here. And if you don't know how to parallel park, probably best to avoid parking on the street. There's a parking lot about a block and a half down the street.

Hiron's uses the same principle as dense urban areas: when real estate is limited, build vertically! The place it quite literally floor-to-ceiling with gifts, merch, sundries, goodies, and sooooo much more. The only minor knock is the 'organization' can be a touch shaky, but hey, throw in friendly service and that lack of sales tax in Oregon (I'm not local and love that) and WHAM! winner of a place. One of my wife's fave takeaways from a visit to see our Duck is a T-shirt from Hiron's; she always gets complements on it! You're on your own with parking since Safeway shares the lot and it can be like playing Frogger getting to the door (with you as the frog). Prices are fair and match the value, but if you need UO with a swoosh....then you can overspend elsewhere. I have never left Hiron's with less than five items, including my very first visit when I dropped my Duck off three years ago. They have the things I want, the things I didn't know I wanted, and tons of things to browse through and call my own.
