The following day, we waited until about 10:40 AM with no word from him. At that point, we canceled the job to avoid wasting more time on such unprofessional behavior. Rich is not only unreliable and uncommitted to his customers but also seems to have no interest in taking responsibility for his mistakes. Despite everything that happened, he never once apologized. Additionally, he made misleading offers such as "I'll only charge you for materials, the rest will be completely free because I value you as a customer," only to backtrack on those promises, making it clear that his intent was to push us into canceling the job ourselves. These are cheap tactics from someone who lacks professionalism. We have since chosen to work with a much more reliable, punctual, and well-reviewed company.

He is really innovative and could help a fix a number of problems that I could imagine needing multiple repair people to come address. For example, he was able to help with replacing a bathroom vent (which included electrical), closet door system, kitchen drawers, and more. He did have to make a few trips to the hardware store for some repairs (the landlord added a few repairs too as we went), but he always was able to come back that day or reschedule the updates when it worked for both of us. Carlos was very friendly, wore his mask so I felt safe with COVID-19, and we were able to speak in both English and Spanish. He even helped us with a small repair on our own bookshelf.
