Here is another excellent and locally owned bar and brewery. It has a pretty good selection. Will County Brewing is one of the best places to hang out in Shorewood. Lots of good drafts to choose from. The prices are pretty good for the quality. A fairly large amount of beer on tap including several styles like IPAs and more. It lets you have a free taste unlike some other stingy places. There's plenty to get on tap. Good choices. Visanthe is one of these. It's $6 for a pint. This is a coffee brown ale and it's full off chocolate and coffee flavor while not being heavy at the same time. It also has a cider. This one is good for drinking lighter. Has a good variety of styles and flavors. It's not all IPAs like at some places. There's no food made here but you can bring some in from the restaurants around and bring it in here though. read more

My sister and I made the trip out to Will County Brewing Company for the Yelp Elite experience that offered a complimentary flight of my choosing. Upon walking in, you're met with simple but modern decor. It is a bit on the smaller side but what is nice is that they do have a patio that you can hang out on when the weather is beautiful! Great for a place to gather with a small group of friends. Service was great, I came to the counter and told the bartender- choose for me! She chose Bamm Bamm, Brewski, Two Fools Rose, and Don't F* With Jesus. They were all so great. My favorite was most definitely the Two Fools Rose which was a bit sweeter and Bamm Bamm. They've straightened the bugs . They brought Joel as a mgr to guide them. He used to be at Metal Monkey which the wife and I went to a lot in the past. Will County is only 5 min from the house. Joel is a good guy and I feel they've got their bearings now. They've got growlers and cans( crowlers). Probably a dozen taps, and a few rotating guest taps. Still can bring food in from the outside, Savarinos is literally 20 yrds from Will County's door(great pizza & broasted chicken) and all the bugs are worked out. Nice place to grab a craft beer. Music and a couple of TV screens. Some merchandise. I think they are here to stay. Thats a good thing! Currently enjoying Squeeze my Lemons, a refreshing lemon shandy, very nice while its 100 degree heat in mid July. The sun screens on their front windows are a great way to cut down the heat. Decided to stop in because I had a beer of theirs at a restaurant. I wanted to get my growler filled and get some other to go beer. The place was very clean. Staff wore masks. I got a growler filled; prices seemed slightly high for a growler fill. I believe it was $24. I decided on a 4 pack as well after staff told me it was a better deal. I would like to come back to try more of their beers. I had the bamm bamm loves pebbles which tastes like a fruit rollup and the rocket queen. My friend didn't like that one as much because it was quite hoppy. However, the rest of my group liked it. I definitely saw more on the menu that I wanted to try. read more

They have a nice spot in the middle of know where. Looking for a close brewery to my hotel and I thought I would give this place a try. Pros: - People in Will County seem very nice but I am here for the beer. - 15 taps, 14 beers that they make in house. 1 guest cider. - they have a good selection of beers including N.E. style IPAs ( which are my beer of choice these days) - not super crowded Cons: - They do not have a kitchen but you can bring food in. - a bid of a drive if your not in the area. This was our final stop to complete our Heritage Corridor Ale Trail. It was the best beer of the day. Nice selection of fresh brews. Tasty Lemon Shandy and Rocket Queen. The music was a bit loud for day drinking and on a Sunday. On Sundays they do beer and donuts. Not sure if that is every Sunday tho. they have one pinball machine and board games. A small outside patio. Doesn't look like live music can happen here. No food but can order delivery or bring your own. read more

So, last night was my second time there and...it was awesome! It wasn't too crowded. I sat at the bar and watched some of the Cubs game that was on. I had the Oktoberfest, Eukanot(lord I hope I'm spelling that right), and the Don't Squeeze My Lemons. All three beers were amazing. The Eukanot and Don't Squeeze were my top two favorites, so much so I took some crowlers home. I'd definitely go again. read more

I have been coming here for years with my Golden Retriever. Great beers and nice atmosphere. Walked in today and the bartender told us we had to leave. Per bartender (who felt really bad) told us the owner decided to be a non-dog friendly establishment about a week ago. Will NEVER return. All my friends and I will continue to support other local breweries who are dog friendly and will not support an obvious dog hater in the community. New this year! I really enjoyed this brewery. Cool design, fun decor, and nice bartenders! I had a flight of 4 5oz beers for $12. They were all decent. The "fruity pebbles" beer was by far the best. They have "singo" during the week and "donuts and drafts" the last Sunday of the month. Cool place and worth the stop. read more

Went late night with my girlfriend. The beers were great service was awesome 10/10 would recommend.

Nice local brewery with great selection of beers. Almost all beers are available to go via growler or crowler. Friendly staff and comfortable, chill vibe. This is a nice place to watch a game with friends and drink local brews. Take it up a notch and grab a pie from Savarino's (which happens to be my favorite pizza in Joliet/Shorewood) next door. You can eat it inside the bar. Prices are not cheap, but they are making their own beer and have to cover overhead costs. read more

Great for beer lovers and people looking to be adventurous and try a new beer experience. I recommend trying the oatmeal raisin cookie beer or the bam-bam loves pebbles beer, but all of them are pretty great. Service is awesome, they don't have food but there's a really good mom and pop pizza place called Savarino's a couple doors down that you could get a pizza from and sit and eat it there... all in all a pretty awesome experience! read more

I enjoyed my first visit to WCBC. We were there for a "Girls Night Out" event hosted by a few local vendors. It is nice to have business owners support gatherings for a variety of products- one stop shop & Sip is awesome for busy moms. The space feels very new with a modern industrial quality that was quite comfortable for our visit. The staff offered top notch customer service and everyone seemed to have a good time. My only reason for not offering a top rating was the lack of beverage options for non-beer drinkers. I would love to see a few bottles of vino from local wineries added to the menu even if just seasonal! I look forward to visiting again for more events when the drink menu is expanded. read more

Terrible service the day I went. I tried this place for the first time today, 7/18/19. I walked in and found a seat at the bar right away. After almost 10 minutes went by of nobody acknowledging me I got up and left. The bartender even stood and had a personal conversation with the customers next to me who did not need any drinks. I understand bartenders like their normal customers and friends but don't forget about the new customers giving the place a try. Unfortunately I will not be back, and won't be able to recommend it to anyone. read more

Last night was my first time visiting... Pros: Good location with a lot of food options. The beer is great! Which is obviously important. Cons: Staff wasn't friendly. Not enough tables to sit at. The crowd seemed clique-y. Normally breweries that don't offer food will at least set out water for their guests. I have always really appreciated that gesture. Will Co. Brewing does not and the bartender seemed a tad annoyed when we asked for a glass of water. :( We went for Singo Thursday and it was really fun! The woman running it was super friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is that we all wished they would have played the songs longer. It was a tad rushed and the music was so good we wanted it to play longer! It was a fun night but unsure if I would suggest going back when deciding where to go with friends. read more

Stopped by during Thanksgiving weekend visit to relatives in Shorewood. I had the Mr. Mustachio, which was really good. So good, that I brought home a growler of it back to Minnesota! Sold out of all 15 kegs in TWO weekends!!Peach Meat wheat beer is very good along with Intramural Superstar. Visanthe has awesome coffee notes. I know this place is popular and sells out of their beer... however i think this is due to location more than quality. Selling out of your product is not a good business plan. It takes a minimum of 30 days to brew most beer. Then they rushed their second batch and made a subpar product. I tried 3 of their beers and was disappointed in all of them. Poor management, the staff had little to no knowledge of beer. 3 times they have had to shut down. I don't know that I'll give them another chance read more

Great atmosphere, they are having a hard time keeping all their beers in stock due to there popularity. I love the peach meat. This is a great way to expand your pallet. Cant wait for them to be able to keep up with production so they can start experimenting with other flavors. read more

Thank you so much for staying open past 9pm on busy nights. Much appreciated. But last night there were 2 patrons who brought their dogs in the bar. One of them sat there for hours with the dog. Bringing it to sit on the outside patio is one thing, but it is totally rude to bring your dog inside. And it is against village ordinance 78-270, 4-25-1978. It states that no dog shall be permitted, even though on a leash, to enter any public establishment anywhere within the village during the time that said place is open for public business. Not all people like your dog, leave it home. Next time tell them they can't bring their pets in! read more

Such a well thought out brewery! From the location to the decor and of course the selections of beer. Gorgeous open floor plan with plenty of seating whether it be at the bar, hightop tables or long tables great for big groups. The menu is easy to navigate even for the stranger to "craft brews". Peach meat was my personal favorite, smooth and not over powering flavor. The flights are the perfect size and the added bonus of being able to bring in your own food is extra appealing. Super family friendly, with a board game area, but also the perfect place to chillax on the weekend with friends. Despite having a minor setback they came back bigger and better! If they continue to uphold a high standard of not only quality but awesome customer service they'll be around for the long haul. read more
