Here are the details; I was driving home from a 5 day road trip. While driving down from the Tejon Pass, I started eating a protein bar with nuts. I bit down on something hard. When I looked at it, it looked like a nut shell. I thought no more about it. I took a break and stopped for a walk while I charged my car, tossing out my trash (which included what turned out to be a dental crown--not a nut shell :-( About 30 miles down the road, I took a drink of water, and realized I had a dental problem. I was concerned because it was a Wednesday--I didn't want to have to get through 4-5 days (including a weekend)...with a tooth root that was very sensitive. I called Dr. Redmond's office at about 9:30 am as I headed for home. Brenda (her receptionist) said the doctor was fully booked into next week, but that she would see if Dr. Erini could somehow work me in. I got a call back in about 15 minutes. Dr. Erini and her assistant were willing to work thru their lunch hour to get my tooth cleaned up and also put in a temporary crown. Gratefully, I said I could be there, for sure! Later in the day, I was out of the office, with a healed mouth and temporary crown just before 2:00 pm!!! I simply need to return next week for my permanent crown. In addition to her incredibly caring service, Dr. Erini always has the most modern treatments (like the machine which took the impressions of my bite digitally with a specialized camera). Dr. Bassir was extremely polite and friendly. I noticed everyone was very nice and polite and saw up-to-date equipment such as Panoramic X-ray and small new handheld X-ray device. Office was very clean, nice and busy. Dr. Bassir gave me a shot which I really didn't feel it. I asked him was it a shot? He said yes it was. He said the needle is special that's why you didn't feel it. Through out the process Dr. Bassir and his Assistant were really great. At the end, the Coping looks really good and color matches perfectly. I do not have healthy teeth therefore I have been in many many dental offices since I was around 10 years old. I do not recommend the services of Dr. Oksana Bublik and her clinic…read more Today, October 1st, 2024, I left after my third appointment with this doctor. In the spring of 2024, I sought help for bleeding gums. The doctor recommended I get a deep cleaning first, which would be covered by insurance, but I'd have to wait about a month for approval. She also suggested injecting an antibiotic into the gums during the cleaning (to help with inflammation) and using a laser. She informed me that these two options would help, but they were not covered by insurance. I waited a month for insurance approval. On the day of the cleaning, before the appointment, I signed a document agreeing to these two options. After the cleaning, I paid the previously discussed extra amount. The doctor did not refer me to a periodontist after the deep cleaning, instead recommending that I return in three months. I'll say right away - it didn't help, the problem persisted. Today, at my appointment, they cleaned my teeth again, took x-rays, and gave me a referral to their recommended periodontist. Before the cleaning, nothing was given to me to sign, and nothing was clarified, but after the appointment, they tried to charge me an additional $95 because the doctor used the laser. The staff member, Irina, claimed that the document I signed during my previous visit confirmed my agreement to use the laser. I refused to pay, at which point Irina said I would no longer be able to come to the clinic for treatment. In the end, my gum issue has not been resolved for six months. I paid extra money, lost time, had two cleanings, and they tried to charge me again for something I didn't agree to pay for. I've never encountered anything like this before. If they didn't inform me, I'll inform you: this clinic may charge you extra fees without prior notice. Be prepared for this if you schedule an appointment with Dr. Bublik.

The previous dentist took xrays. Everything was fine. Both family members went to this dentist for a routine cleaning ONLY. Both were told at the time of the cleaning they need a filling. Conveniently, the Dr did the filling right away at the time of cleaning. We asked our old dentist to take a look at the xrays and he confirmed the filling were not necessary! He also told us the fact that the Dr performed the filling immediately during cleaning should have been the clue that this is their game to generate revenue.
