Dr.Craft is a highly trained dentist with lots of experience with complicated dental procedures. My recent experience with having an old bridge replaced was painless and looks great... Now to be clear, this is nothing against Dr. craft or the assistants. I've been going here for 2 years and have had such a wonderful experience. What I'm saddened by is the way staff today handled a change in what insurance they accept. After having a great experience of getting my teeth cleaned, I was hit with news at the front desk that they changed the way they accept my insurance (sounds like they only accept a portion now), and instead of me having a usual no co-pay, I now owed $130. When I asked why I wasn't informed before my appointment, the front desk receptionist shared usually someone from the office should call beforehand of the appointment, and/ or insurance should inform the patient. When I shared no one told me this, she was unapologetic and very matter of fact, as if it wasn't a mistake on their part and solely my responsibility. I find this highly unethical. As a provider myself, I would never have my own patient come see me without letting them know first if I had a change in accepting their insurance. I will no longer be coming here as one I can't afford it with the insurance change, but primarily because of how this situation was handled. Thank you Dr. Craft for the amazing work, and I hope you see this and encourage your staff to be trained on things such as this so your future patients don't have these surprises when they come to receive a service. Dr Craft is an excellent dentist who makes you feel comfortable in her knowledge of all dental procedures. Her staff are very helpful, friendly and make you feel at ease. Over time my front teeth had become worn and thin causing a chip while biting into a sandwich. I asked Dr. Craft how we could reinforce both front teeth and she suggested two options and of the two, I chose Veneers. She prepared both teeth and sent molds to Sowle Ceramics in Dana Point. Gary at Sowle told me it was going to be a challenge matching the Veneers to the rest of my teeth. When he was done with them and sent them to Dr. Craft ready to apply, I was amazed at how perfectly they matched the rest of my teeth and how great they looked!! I am one of Dr Craft's earlier patients at her San Clemente office and have been going to her for the last several years. Diana actually used to perform hygienist tasks when her practice was just getting started and, although her current team is great, I miss her occasional cleanings. She has performed extractions, filled cavities and added implants for me and, I must say, they were all done professionally with no issues. I was so impressed with Diana's work that my entire family of five are now her patients. She puts everyone at ease, has a nice chair side manner and is wonderful to talk to. Decent Dental Service, Horrible Receptionist/Customer Service Diana is a good dentist, but i will never come back because their front office is horrendous. This whole ordeal started over 4 months ago. I initially went in for a check up and had "4" Small cavities. The first appointment went fine, but after having some strange ordeal where the front office mixed up 2 patients names, the front office proceeded to call us both liars, even though it was her mistake, i had to make another appointment for the second 2. I finally got an appt but when the front office called for the reminder, she proceeded to tell me i was scheduled for a cleaning and not fillings and would have to find me another appointment. That was definitely the final straw for me. *BEWARE* Good dentist, horrible office staff that make making appointments 10x harder than they should be. read more

We recently moved to San Clemente and needed to find a new dentist. My wife found Dr. Craft and made the appt. I was greeted by an extremely friendly staff in a very nice office. I was then escorted to the X-Ray chair where a full oral X-Ray was taken. There was then a full oral examination performed then a cleaning. I usually require local anesthetic prior to the cleaning process and was concerned when none was administered. I experienced the most PLEASANT tooth cleaning EVER. Dr. Craft has an extraordinary bedside manner. She is VERY gentle, soothing and does a great job explaining the process as she goes along. If you are searching for a dentist, look no further. She actually took over the office of my old dentist who I was not 100% satisfied with, but the woman who called me about scheduling an annual exam suggested that I give Dr. Craft and her new staff a try before looking elsewhere. I was finally convinced when she told me that she liked working for Dr. Craft so much that she relocated just to continue working for her in her new office. I figured, if her assistants are that happy, her patients must be pretty happy too, right? Well, luckily that turned out to be the case.
