I want to say we were referred to Desert Hills by several people, including some of our friends I checked out the reviews and they normally average a five star review. They did not disappoint. We had an appointment today for our sick puppy. Who's been sick now about 15 days. We were greeted by Trinity the doctors, assistant, amazing and caring, compassionate. Then the doctor came in they worked with dodger took her temperature. Did some other test. Dr. Murray was so thorough so caring and compassionate as well. She gave us some options. They did a panel which we should get back in a few days she most likely has pneumonia. She's now on meds everything about Desert Hills was above and beyond the care from everyone the cleanliness the friendliness we are so happy we have found them and we are so thankful that we now have a new veterinarian. We highly recommend them thank you so much. We feel so much better because of you.

Not a good place for cats! All vet clinics I have been to have a cat side and a dog side for their…read morewaiting room. They have a designated side for cats but now they allow small dogs as well. The waiting room is full with these small and medium size dogs, and they're yapping, barking, and wandering around (doing normal dog stuff but just in a cat area) with one dog parent allowing his dog to approach my cat carrier two seats away. The doctor had to prescribe sedatives for my cat's visit but she became visibly stressed despite being medicated because of the environment. My experience was so bad today that I canceled appointments for my other two cats. I'll be looking for a clinic that actually cares about the well being of their feline patients.

This review reflects an entirely different experience under their current operation. My family has two golden retrievers -- Koda (1.5 years) and Howie (6.5 years) -- and we have experienced repeated scheduling failures over the past several months, including confirmed appointments being rejected after the fact. Today was the final straw. I drove to the clinic, brought my dog in for pre-operative blood work ahead of a scheduled neutering next week, waited while they took him back -- and then was told in person that they don't have enough staff scheduled for his surgery date. No phone call. No message. No heads up of any kind. Just: come in, wait, and oh by the way, we don't know when we can reschedule you. That is completely unacceptable. This information was known before my appointment. A 30-second phone call would have saved the trip, the wait, and the stress on my dog. Instead, the burden was placed entirely on us to show up and find out in person. This is a pattern with this practice since their previous veterinarians left. We have been rejected for scheduled appointments multiple times across both dogs. The communication failures are consistent and the operational instability is real. We are done. Both dogs are moving to a new provider effective today. I genuinely hope they can turn things around, but I cannot in good conscience recommend Sage Veterinary Care in their current state and for the safety of our dogs.

I got a referral from my neighbor (also the vet here) for APC. Easy parking lot in and out, the lobby is huge so that pets aren't in close quarters. This is a pretty big facility and very clean and loved the art. We were the last appointment of the day, so it was empty. The front desk people looked like they'd had a long day, and I was put in a room almost immediately. Jordan was the tech and he brought the holy grail into the room for my Maisy (a ball). It still took her a minute to relax, but he didn't rush her, and threw the ball, which she loved. He was able to do what he needed to and Dr. Sarah was right in. Maisy knows her, and loves her. The sigh of relief for everyone was wonderful. Maisy got some meds for her eyes, and nails trimmed (a first) and we both left feeling great. Dr. Sarah is so caring, and competent. She's someone I would (and do) trust the life of my best friend with.

We absolutely loved Kreature when we first started bringing our animals in. We had our guinea pigs, cats, and both dogs seen there. Our main vet was Dr. Emily and we absolutely loved her and some of the girls that were there during that time. One of our dogs is reactive and scared of other people/dogs. He went through a rough illness that had us bringing him into the vet pretty frequent for about a month or so. Once he was better, we noticed he started experiencing a pretty intense fear when we took him into KK. Each appointment would get worse. We were seen on a monthly (4 week) basis for nails and glands. He would start shaking and screaming when we would pull into the parking lot. Shortly after Dr. Emily and some of the staff left KK. This is when I noticed the treatment of our boy got worse. I watched one girl hard yank and yell at him when she thought she was far enough away from me. My husband and I started questioning the treatment he was receiving at that time. Once he was in the back away from us, he would start screaming. One of the front office staff told my husband that "they do that when they get their anal glands done". I started openly questioning the treatment of our boy and one of the techs came from the back to tell me that he needed training. I was quick to mention that we have worked with PJ's based off their recommendation. She then had the audacity to tell me he needed heavy hand implying abusive tactics like shock collars or choke chains. My husband and I sat down and realized how much harm we were putting our dogs through by continuing our visits to KK. We've since found an amazing vet who has worked with us to put him on trazodone and treats him with kindness. We also found out that Kreature Komforts had us bringing our dogs in too often for glands and having them cleared so often was causing pain and inflammation. We now have them seen every 8 weeks. The reason why I post this so long after we left this vet is because we have to drive to their area for a new job. Our dog remembers where their office is and he now shakes every time we have to leave the house because he fears we're taking him back. This is extremely heartbreaking for us and we're trying our best to work through it. Please keep this in mind if you decide to bring a reactive animal to this office. I don't believe they have the right people or tools to handle animals like ours. I also believe that they took on too many patients and their level of service declined after Dr. Emily left. I hope things have changed, but we're still dealing with trauma.
