I also had two appointments with Sofia Ribolla, and she is excellent as well. On all the occasions I've come in to see Dr. Wolf, I've never been kept waiting. I would not hesitate to return here for anything. This is an outstanding and well coordinated operation. (I left my previous ophthamologist to come here, and I'm glad I did.)

They don't even throw in a set of ginzu knives! The front desk can't be bothered. The people who run the tests and help you prior to seeing the doctor are hustling. Customer service is poor. The eyeglass/frame retail store connected is criminally expensive it's laughable. And the customer service is inconsistent there but I've clocked that if I'm dressed nicely I get service. If I'm in my workout clothes forget it. So as I write this review I've lost all feeling in my gluteus just waiting. We had a 2:55 appointment and it's now 4:15 and we JUST got seated in the exam room. Still waiting to be seen...

In addition, I waited almost 2 hours one day while numerous people were seen before me, yet had appointments after me. Unfortunately, I had to leave as I had another obligation. Not once did anyone come over to me and say, "I'm sorry the Dr 'had an emergency, etc.. Finally, Dr Fucigna suggested I have plugs put in for dry eye. I will say they are life altering in terms of relief. However, after having more than 7 plugs put in and charges in excess of $75 for each visit, I questioned the process. Dr F told me it's like "trying on shoes and trying to find the right size." Well, I have never had to try on numerous sizes of shoes. Additionally, I have many friends who have had plugs put in and have never had them fall out even once, let alone several times. I was then told that he has never experienced this in 30 years of practice. I find this hard to believe and then got yet another bill for $95!! Needless to say I won't be returning.

Dr. Fucigna then answered every possible question I had in mind! He was very patient and friendly with me! I am very pleased to inform everyone that I am satisfied with my experience with him and his staff and very grateful to have him as my eye doctor. Once again I recommend everyone to see his new office in Old Greenwich CT

I'm gonna have to go to another doctor because my eyes are different prescriptions and wont focus on anything now that the doctor wrote them for the same prescription! And the staff there wasn't at all sympathetic about how ludicrously expensive it was. I'm livid. My mom also went and had a terrible experience. The contacts she was given were unwearable, and when she called to say they didn't work at all they said she must be mistaken or have given the doctor incorrect information.

The office was disorganized and completely incompetent. My appointment began a half hour late and was interrupted twice by the front desk - once to ask about another patient's schedule, once to make change for a $20. I have been experiencing occasional blurred vision and when I mentioned this to Dr. Gallousis, he immediately brushed it off. When he wrapped up my appointment, I reminded him that I needed to have my contacts assessed as well. When I reminded him, he responded, "Oh, NOW you tell me." I mentioned my contacts when I made the appointment, at the front desk when I checked in, and when I was initially assessed. He begrudgingly assessed my contacts, which was an extra $80 that wasn't previously disclosed. When I was checking out, the woman at the front desk complained about her coworkers to me. Wildly unprofessional. When I initially made the appointment, I was told that the office accepted my insurance. Unfortunately, the office misled me and this appointment was out of network. I will be paying out of pocket for this disastrous and unsuccessful appointment.
