The amount of dental knowledge I received from Dr. Nourian herself was more than I had received from all the dentists I have been to combined in the previous 20 years! First, let me say this office is nestled in a quiet, secluded office park. Parking is ample and it's easy to find the office. The lobby has an upscale yet comfortable decor complete with a coffee bar. Everyone whom I encountered at this office was exceedingly polite. The receptionist, dental assistant, hygienist and Dr. Nourian herself were all so genuinely nice. It's so refreshing to see a team where everyone appears to love what they do and I truly felt like I was treated like a person and not a cog in a machine. Attention like this is so rare! Since this was my first visit, x-rays were done. I was having some bleeding of the gums, so pictures of my teeth were also taken and Dr. Nourian went though both the X-rays and the pics of my teeth to assess what's happening in my mouth. It was so helpful to have her point out things such as where I had grinding my teeth and had been brushing improperly. She told me how to adjust how I hold my toothbrush to get to the gum line and other measures to more effectively care for my teeth. After the consultation with Dr. Nourian, Veronica did my cleaning. She was wonderful- so gentle and also gave me great instructions on brushing and flossing. She went above and beyond with her attention to detail. She even applied some Vaseline to my lips prior to the cleaning to make sure they didn't dry out. Overall, this was the best experience at a dentist I've ever had. I really appreciate the stellar service and the extensive knowledge that was shared with me. I think Dr. Nourian and her team really care about providing excellent care as well as extending guidance to avoid dental work down the road. I'll definitely be back- I'm so glad I found this place!

As I got older and started going to large, chain dental practices, where patients were only viewed as dollar signs, the ire was brought out in me. Not surprisingly, I developed an intense aversion to going to the dentist. But that all changed. It started after my last visit to the big butterfly (you may be able to figure out who I'm referring to!). I had been told that some of my teeth had deteriorated at record speed and I needed extensive and expensive dental work done ASAP! This prompted me to seek out a second opinion. Dr. Stock's small practice seemed to be exactly what I was looking for, a place that was the opposite of where I had been going. I was immediately put at ease by his warm and friendly demeanor. He determined that I needed far less work done than what I was told, which of course was going to save me lots of time, pain and money. I was so impressed by his genuine concern that I didn't even think twice about scheduling my next appointment. That was over 25 years ago, and now after countless visits for everything from routine cleanings to fillings, crowns and even some root canals, I refuse to go anywhere else. And, I have since moved much farther away. Everyone in my family sees him as well, and they share the same loyalty to Dr. Stock.
