By far, the best dentist I've ever been to! I was in a bike accident a year ago and lost 3 of my front teeth. The emergency led me to another facility, Jefferson Dental, whom I do not recommend ever. My family and I were very nervous about finding the right doctor and after being referred by Longhorn Dental (in Austin) to Couture Dentistry in Plano we were extremely relieved. The hour drive from Denton for each appointment was worth every minute, their service is incredible and everything from the shots they use to numb your mouth (imported from France), the temporary crowns I wore for 6 months that were hand made by Christina and the real porcelain beauties that I have now are exquisite quality. I've been through 4 root canals, multiple visits and I've never once felt unwelcome, rushed, or uncomfortable. They are attentive to what you need, in the beginning they would give my gas because my anxiety was so bad and after the first few times I can take an injection in the gums like a champ. Christina who was by my side this whole process was always honest with me and perfected my crowns 3 times until we were both satisfied. I'm more than grateful to have beautiful teeth again. The front office has some of the nicest, happy, calm and organized staff I've ever seen. I really appreciated being greeted by name each time I walked in, I never even had to go up to the desk I could just sit down and relax. The office is beautiful, Dr.Los wife did an amazing job making it look and feel like home. They have blankets too when you get cold and lately free Origins samples for patients. They really think of everything here. Dr. Lo is hilarious and an excellent dentist, I could fully trust him while he was working no matter what was going on he was always positive and taking care of business. Christina is the biggest sweetheart, she would even hold my hand when I was nervous during shots. Everyone there is 100% a team and loves working there which makes being a patient a million times less stressful! Definitely worth every penny and I'm so happy to have found a place that I can trust to keep going back to for cleanings. I feel like a part of the family now! Highly recommend. Hi I would like to start out by saying that I was born with dental issues. I have spent many days in the chair and had just decided I wasn't worth the money to get my teeth fixed. And I had many doctors tell me there was nothing that could be done. So I pulled all my back teeth. Then after being on NBC'S Biggest Loser I found out that I am worth it and I owe it to myself to take care of the body that I have been given. I did my research I went to 10-12 dentist in a years time. I wanted to make sure that I was going to get the treatment I deserved and not taken advantage of. My decision was Dr. Lo!!! He was the kindest most understanding knowledgeable dentist I interviewed. Yes you heard me I interviewed. The staff helped me find the best payment options for me and I was at an office with state of the art equipment and Dr. Lo never made me feel shameful about how I let myself go. Instead he became my cheerleader. He made me see what was possible and promised me that he could fix all my issues. Well I must say he held true to his word. I am in the process and moving towards a healthy mouth. It has changed my whole personality and I can now eat steak!! My husband went to see him about a pain in a molar some dentist would have started to drill he did an X-ray and sent him home with s toothpaste for sensitive teeth. Honesty makes me smile. My daughter went there to get a retainer and loved it!!! Love the staff, very helpful and kind. We had initially gone to an Ortho near me and was unhappy with their service so we opted to go to couture! Completely different experience, wish we would've transferred sooner! It was time for my regular cleaning. I was looking around on Yelp and found Couture Dentistry. I sent an email to the office on their website. They quickly responded and called to set an appointment. I was able to get in pretty quickly (which is nice I didn't have to wait for 2 or 3 months). I went in today and the entire staff was lovely! I had a great hygienist who was very knowledgeable and found a cavity! I haven't had a cavity ever. So I began to freak out. She calmed me down. Then Dr. Lo came in and introduced himself. He has a very nice bedside manner. He was very descriptive and informative about what was going to take place to take care of this cavity. He wanted to make sure I was comfortable! I truly appreciate that. . A lot of doctors are busy and don't have time to sit and talk with you. Dr. Lo made time! Oh and another thing, I was thinking I needed to whiten my teeth. . He looked at them and said I don't need it! WOW! Talk about honesty! I understand this is a business and people need to make money! Dr. Lo was very sincere and told me the truth vs saying YES you need to get your teeth whiten so he could pocket the money. I will say his entire staff was friendly, professional, and kind. The office vibe had a excellent dynamic. . I want to feel comfortable at the dentist and they all achieved that for me! The office was new and clean (that is important). They also were understanding . . I was 9 mins late and they were able to let me keep my appointment. I was without dental care for over 10 years before I saw Dr. Lo and his wonderful team . I also suffer from dental anxiety and for the most part I was scared to go. Once I arrived the team was courteous and the office was clean. They did everything in their power to make me comfortable during my stay. They offered Netflix, music, warm blankets, and even coffee or tea. During my visits, about 6 different ones over 3 weeks due to extensive work that needed to be done, the courtesy I received never diminished. They always exceeded my expectations. The skill level of the team at Couture Dentistry was exemplary! Dr. Lo managed to save teeth that other practitioners would of pulled. I was so excited to know I would not loose any of my teeth (except one wisdom tooth). He paid close attention to my reactions and made sure I was in no pain at all. Gail who was assisting Dr. Lo for the majority of my visits was very caring and continually checked with me if there was anything she could do to help make the experience more pleasant. I would say that Gail is my favorite there! (Sorry Ladies and Gentlemen at Couture just the truth!! hehe) I did meet almost everyone there and I loved them all! Christy, Kristen, Christina, and Dan were all some of the best in their field! Anytime I need dental care again I am going to fly all the way back and I won't mind at all spending the extra money to do so. This is the only office I will go to. I am a nervous wreck at dentists offices. I hate going. Which is probably why I ignored the pain in my tooth as long as I did. However, when I finally HAD to go, I choose Dr. Lo at Couture as he came highly recommended. But I was still surprised at how awesome he was!! The office is fresh, clean, modern, and comfortable! The staff is friendly, and not in that fake way. Genuine personalities that set you at ease! And Dr. Lo was easy to talk to, talked to me like a person, and gave it to me straight. He laid out the issue and ALL my options. Then, when I decided to extract the molar in question he did so with zero pain. ZERO. Even the numbing gel here is delicious (pina colada flavor)! I laughed and smiled more here than I ever have in a dentist office. Even after the extraction. This is the place, my friends. I paid for my procedure ONLY. Not for the xrays or other things. I asked about it and was told Dr. Lo wants you to be able to get the treatment you need, not be overcharged for little things. For the first time, I made a followup appointment I intend on keeping! I am still so surprised (a week later) that I had a dental appointment go so well. I would give this place more stars if possible. And it's easy to get to from anywhere. It's right off the tollway. Before visiting Dr. Nelson Lo for a second opinion, I was told by another dentist that I needed to pull all of my teeth and consider dentures or dental implants. Within 5 minutes after discussing my x-rays with the previous dentist, they had me in a finance office considering options for over $20K worth of dental procedures. The entire process felt cold, rushed and impersonal, so I opted for a 2nd opinion and visited Dr. Lo. Dr. Lo was different from the very beginning. His staff is very warm and friendly. They make it very easy to ask questions and took the time to explain ALL my options. Thankfully, Dr. Lo isn't interested in replacing teeth that don't need to be replaced. I rushed in to see him on a Saturday afternoon as a second opinion because I had broken a tooth. Instead of suggesting dramatic, expensive procedures, he focused on my immediate need. On the spot, he performed a root canal and (temporary) crown procedure that allowed me to leave his office without a gap in my smile. I also left his office with a treatment plan that was reasonable and something that could be done over time. It's refreshing to see there are still dentists out there that make it about patient needs instead of trying to sell me something I don't need. 5 Stars!!!! read more

After much research I decided to have my teeth done by Dr. Lo at Couture Dentistry and it is one of the best decisions I've ever made. First of all, no one is more nervous about getting dental work done then I was, my fear of dentistry has bordering on a phobia my whole life and now I was needing major cosmetic work done. I've been recently looking for a dentist in the Dallas area, after moving 7 months ago to the area. I always read my reviews and after reading the reviews on several sights for Couture Dentistry, I made an appointment. I was surprised how easily it was to get in pretty quickly. I'm not overly nervous when I go to the dentist, but the front office staff was so cheerful and welcoming it put my nerves at ease. My hygienist, Dan, was very friendly and thorough, taking the necessary x-rays and reviewing them with me prior to cleaning and polishing my teeth. I then met with Dr. Lo, who impressed me with his exam. He not only checks your mouth but your lymph nodes, thyroid and neck for any growths or abnormalities. His personality is very calming as well. They explained my follow up treatments and scheduled my upcoming appointments. Finally, I have to mention I was also very happy with the cleanliness and the state of the art equipment. Was referred to Dr. Lo by my oncologist after dealing with some dental health issues related to my cancer treatment. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The office is very nice and modern with some cool equipment (I was particularly impressed with the 360 degree x-ray machine). As I was being brought back to an exam room, I felt pretty light-headed and nearly passed out and the staff handled the situation very calmly and promptly by laying me down in an exam chair and encouraging deep breathing. I felt better in no time, and then was left to wait for Dr. Lo. This would be my only critique: I waited about a half hour in the exam chair because they were running behind. However, the receptionist was very apologetic and reassuring to me as I waited patiently. Dr. Lo was very kind and knowledgable when he came in to see me and set out a very clear plan for my dental care. I have an appointment to see him in a few more weeks, and I'm confident in the care I will be provided with! read more

Dr. Lo is by far the best dentist I've ever been to. I first got him as a dentist by chance quite a few years ago, before he had Couture Dentistry set up, and when I needed some work done on my teeth (fillings needing to be redone) I looked him up. More than any other dentist, or indeed medical professional in any field, that I've ever been to, Dr. Lo pays attention to the comfort level of his patients. My lips always get dry while the dentist is working in my mouth: the dental assistant made sure to apply and re-apply lip balm during the procedure. Any time my body language signaled that I wasn't comfortable, Dr. Lo asked if I needed him to take a break. And in addition to Dr. Lo's excellent bedside manner, the facility itself is beautiful and state-of-the-art, and you are given headphones with your choice of either music or Netflix (I chose Netflix). I have had several dentists over my lifetime (50+). I just spent 3 hours on my day off having another dentists work fixed. Having people working in your mouth is uncomfortable, yet here it is not painful. No numbing pain and no procedure pain and aspirin took care of my sore jaw and gum. Hygienists are nice, professional, non-judgmental and very efficient and skilled. Dr. Lo is great, the assisting staff is just as great. I can say I did not mind the time I spent there today. Oh, a while back a friend had a dental emergency, did not know who to call so I called and asked if they could help her, she was in the next day. She had the same better-than-good experience. Great office, atmosphere is is relaxing, wonderful staff (cannot say enough about the staff), the best dentist you could have; and I drive from the other end of Dallas to the tollway entrance and all the way out to Plano just to have these folks for dental service. read more

Dr Lo at couture dentistry is amazing. I have a terrible anxiety when it comes to dental procedures after watching my my mother's battle with a genetic condition where she has no roots. I emailed them with my concerns and they responded within a few hrs. Lo's staff put me at ease, gave me a premedication for anxiety, let me listen to music and rest while they gently cleaned my teeth. They have been so patient with my insurance and finances. I'm so glad I found a dentist I can trust who treats me so well. Dr. Lo is the best. All of my life I've had terrible dentistry experiences. Always painful no matter who I went to.. that all changed when I went to Couture. Friendly warm staff definitely eased my stress level. Very modern equipment,, very cool seeing the 3D model of your mouth with the advanced xray technology. I told him before my procedure,, that in all my life.. no matter how much they would try to numb me up.. it was never enough and I always had to fight though pain. That wasn't the case here. They prescribed the sedative, had me take two of the pills (in the past at other offices, they would only prescribe one and not reapply). I had my first pain free experience in my 41 years of life. Would strongly suggest anyone who's ever had a bad experience give Couture a try. read more

What a great dental experience! Dr. Lo is awesome. I went in needing everything after years of neglect. We worry that the insurance won't cover enough and things that we can live with will become thousands of dollars that we can't afford, right? Well, rather than a scolding, each member of his staff addressed each issue. Dr. Lo uses state of the art tools in his diagnoses and then takes a practical approach. Not only does he perform great work, but he has surrounded himself with a very competent staff - assistant, hygienist, front desk and billing personnel all work together to create this high score. I have been going to Couture Denistry for several years and I can honestly say I have been very happy with Dr Lo, his staff, and the accommodation of his practice. Everyone is genuinely friendly and caring. Scheduling appointments is extremely easy, and their Saturday office hours are convenient for those who find it hard to go to an appointment during the Monday-Friday work week.
