Arrived at clinic and asked for $170.00 for x-ray and exam. Tried to pay cash and could not due to no change. So I handed her my card. She only charged $70..00 on card and I had to point this out. I paid the balance in cash. 1st money blunder! First thing out of his mouth was " We need to pull all the teeth and put a denture in ". I still had 6 teeth I was using to eat so they were not that bad. He wanted to pull 2 teeth and put a partial in. I hated the idea of pulling working teeth. He convinced me it was the best way to get me smiling again. I agreed and went back to the front desk to pay for the procedure. The lady said it would be $1170.00 for everything. I paid her $1200.00 cash that gave me a $30.00 credit. I arrived for my appointment at 1:30 that afternoon and the same lady asked for $400.00 more. I went back and forth stating I paid her 2 hours ago $1200.00 cash. She could not remember me paying her 2 hours before. Her and 2 others finely came to the conclusion I was right and the bill was paid in full. 2nd money blunder! He pulled the teeth and after the assistant put the partial in and said it looked great and escorted me out the door( bums rush). When I got home I looked at it the mirror the 2 front replacement teeth were crooked! When I tried to bite down the right side only met at the front. The left side did not meet at all. It was painful to keep in without trying to chew anything. I waited for 2 days to make sure it was not the swelling making it not fit and figured I could get the crooked replacement teeth straightened. I called and told them what was happening and she said to come in the next morning for an adjustment. Strange thing was the assistant called me not 5 min. later to check on me. I arrived a few min. after 9:00 AM and brought my canned good to donate and told them who I was and I was there for an adjustment. The blond lady said " Put your donation in the basket behind you on the shelf and I have you checked in". I sat down and was the only one in the lobby for 15 min. 3 others arrived 1 left and 1 was called back. After an hour I had to go to work and picked up my donation and left. I called back later to see when I could make an appointment as I could not wait any longer this morning. I was told "you were not seen because you did not check in". After telling her 3 or 4 times I did check in and stating when I arrived I did not know were to put my donation that confirms I did speak with the blonde lady. Other wise I would not have known were to put my donation. Again she instead I did not check in and implied I was just a liar. She set me a 9:00 AM appointment for Monday. Later that afternoon the blonde lady called and said to come right back and they would see me without a wait. Fist time anyone apologized for anything at this clinic. I was already headed to Sylvester Ga. for a service call and could not return. She boasted how much they care about their patients and they even call them the next day after work was done just to check on them. Another blunder as I called them 2 days later and then got my "check on you" call 5 min. later. I am out 2 teeth that I miss greatly when I eat and a partial that looks bad and does not function. With the partial in I can not speak as it is so thick in the roof of my mouth. Poor money management, poor customer service and poor workmanship on the partial. I have one good thing outcome of all this, I have lost some weight due to the inability to chew my food. Go to a dentist in a real town!
