Dr. Lumpp's staff spend at least 30-45 minutes on a cleaning and are very thorough and gentle. She's done a filling for me with the white filling color and it looks perfect! Also, she's done 3 crowns for me. She will match the color of your tooth and the fit is absolutely perfect (sometimes this takes a few visits). They are knowledgeable about the latest dental techniques and the office is very comfortable. I don't have dental insurance so it is expensive (coming out of my pocket,) but it is WELL worth it! If you value your teeth and health, its a good investment. She does accept some insurances.. so check with her first!

I trusted the dentists' medical opinion, which was to fix with cap. Without thinking about it, I allowed and paid the dentist to fix my tooth. He sanded down the whole molar and put a cap on it. The tooth now is sensitive to cold water, hot water, and hurts when I chew on it. I had no issues with sensitivity before he operated on the tooth. I was able to schedule my crown easily and quickly. Then, amazingly, they were able to fit me in for a cleaning right then and there. Shannon, the hygienist, is one of the nicest people I've EVER met. They really took 10 years of nervousness and guilt and just made it all disappear! I feel like a new woman! I was scheduled to have two tests done to determine the viability of a tooth. After the first test, the assistant said it was pretty clear the tooth could not be saved and deferred running the second test, saving me more than $100. Dr. Simon confirmed the result and recommended I return to my general dentist for a tooth extraction rather than going through with a root canal in his office. They both could have run the second test, and I would've been none the wiser that it was unnecessary. The next time I receive a referral to an endodontist in Tallahassee, I won't hesitate to make the appointment with Dr. Simon.
