Shout out to the Williams Center for giving me a private screening. I showed up for a viewing of Alice, Sweet Alice , a feature film at the Cinema Underground . And somehow I was the only guest to show up! A little creepy watching a horror movie by myself in the basement but an great experience none the less. Thanks again WC!

My friend and I found out about this place through meet up. They started doing art house movies on Tuesday nights this week, and we went tonight to go see the Greek film, Dogtooth. First of all, the film was hilarious, and definitely off the cuff. I highly suggest watching it if you like, psychological, crazy films. Although if it had a rating, it would be R. Upon my arrival to the center, I was greeted by its new owners. Both were very nice gentleman, and one gave me a tour of the theater. Although the theater is under construction right now, it looks to be a beautiful and elegant building. Once it is Finished with construction, I'm sure it will look great. I thought the art house movies was a great idea to hold in this old theater. Definitely a different and fun night out!

PROS: This place was a beautiful theatre. It had a stage with standing room, a stage with seated room, and another stage at the back of the building. The place was clean and spacious as well CONS: The ceiling is in desperate need of renovation (as shown in my pics) and theres limited parking on the street. The front room is also too small to hold many people OVERALL: Very nice theatre. despite a few minor cons ill still give it a great rating

Awesome live music venue with a cool book / record store inside ! Great stage sound and lights! Easy to find on street parking. Good bar & nice bartenders.

Outdoor festival with live music !

What an enjoyable day I had at the Williams Center! For those of you who may not know of its existence this building has provided multiple entertainment features throughout its decades long history with live music , theatre performances , school fundraising events and even a still active movie theatre in the basement. Sadly though this location will most likely be closing its doors due to the greed and "demand" of housing that seems to plague almost every New Jersey town... Fortunately though i'm lucky enough to know a friend in the music scene who not only set up this fundraiser for the Williams Center that included live music , drinks and snacks and local Art from around the New Jersey area but also included a time slot towards the end for the local children in the area to sing on stage their favorite songs over the DJ play mix. I'm sure all the families enjoyed this experience as well as the kids involved in what is now looking like a near post COVID outdoor experience. I'm sure there are more events to come in this form but it may be a last for this performing arts center unless a wave of luck will hit its stride

Theatre has reopened and with brand new digital projectors!!! Ticket prices are decent with $10 or less Can't beat that price. Nearby you have tons of restaurants nearby to make it an evening out. Tons of parking on street or in the lot kiddie corner (ettrick street) from theatre and behind dunkin donuts in kip lot. (Around corner use Ames Ave)

A great place to see a movie! Clean, nice facilities, and not too crowded. I'm always happy to spend time here.

We have been meaning to try Marcus Live for some time and got the chance today. We arrived early, so seating was ample. It is a comfortable place to be, with good music, rock and roll memorabilia, and a warm ambiance. Service was kind, attentive, prompt, and efficient. Entire space was spotlessly clean and well-kept. My other half and I each opted for the double smash burger and truffle fries. Fries were excellent: crispy, well-seasoned, not greasy, and flavorful. The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and bacon and onions were cooked perfectly. I wished I had a second one. Is it the best burger I've had? Honestly, no. But it's up there for sure. I enjoyed it enough for it to make me go back, which says a lot. Overall, a very nice experience. Will definitely return.

This place had plenty of empty seats so we were able to get seated quickly. They asked if we wanted the tables combined and we said sure, and they combined it into... an L shape...?? How strange haha there was definitely enough room to keep them straight. We were there to celebrate someone's birthday so we made the birthday girl sit in the crook of the L so she could swivel and talk to everyone lol. I ordered the B&G prime burger and I think the waitress was confused because she said it was a smash burger and would come with crispy onions... the patties were definitely not smashed and there were no onions at all. I think she was thinking of the double smash burger. The patties were also not seasoned properly, so it tasted bland to me and there wasn't that nice crust the seasoning would have formed (iykyk). We also got the cornbread as an app, which was good, especially with the honey butter and the jam it came with, but it was really small and not worth the $12 at all. They were also out of several items like the deviled eggs, NY strip, and grilled branzino. I don't know how common it is for restaurants to run out of menu items so early in the day (it was like 2pm) but just something to note. Although our server was nice and I'm glad we were able to get seated right away, I probably won't come back here. The food is just average and portions are too small for the price. Also just fyi, the large group gratuity they included on our bill was 20%. I feel like I usually see 18% at other places.

I am actually shocked this place was not fully booked because the food here was fantastic for a buffet styled brunch that came at a great price! They had a huge selection of food and I thought the penne alla vodka was one of the best I have had in a very long time. My dad went nuts over the clams because they actually had clams inside them and not just all breading. You did need to pay for your cocktails but I feel like that made the service here even better because at other brunch spots with unlimited mimosa bars they tend to try and dodge tables when all you are looking for is another drink- I personally rather pay for it then constantly trying to waive someone down. They also had two rooms, a bigger and smaller room which is great for people who want to have graduation, a sweet 16 or even a wedding or birthday here.
