While the Airline is working to compensate me for this, I still had the urgent need of 1) glasses that needed adjustment from being bent out of shape 2) scratches that needed to be buffed out and 3) a new eyeglass case. In a town where I know no one I chose a national brand place to start with in my search of getting my sun glasses at least usable. I am visiting the desert after all. I left a message but no one returned my call. i called again later and was told the entire billing department was at lunch. The person hung up before I could say anything else. I called again this evening and was told that the office was closed. I asked if my call could be transferred to billing so I could leave another message for billing to call me first thing tomorrow morning. In a rude manner, she told me, "I can't do that so I'm letting you go." She then abruptly hung up. This hasn't been the first time I have encountered a staff member who was curt and unpleasant. It seems that the staff members who call patients or who answer the phones in the office are frequently dismissive and unprofessional.
