    My reward purchase goodies

Shopping at this Williams-Sonoma as got to be one of my favorite places. I love the set up of the store and ease of location in proximity to the main Mall entry. I've been to stand alone ones in Columbus and Beverly Hills and those are huge. This one is smaller but does not lack on offerings nor customer service experience. Each time I've visited everybody is so helpful and knows the cues to let you shop in peace should you just stop by to browse. This shopping trip was to redeem my card rewards for some fall items. I bought brine for my Turkey in a few weeks, and mulling spice for my cider. I can't wait to start shopping for my Christmas table !

Breville Oracle purchased and enjoyed from BED BATH AND BEYOND.

Remarkably bad service. We purchased a top-of-the-line Breville for $2900. Open the Williams-Sonoma credit card to get a discount. It arrived at the store in Park Meadows, in late June as expected. Because there was a gash in the box that not only punctured the cardboard but also the interior Styrofoam, we did not take possession of it, thinking there was probably internal damage. We ordered another one to replace it. There was not a single apology for the inconvenience. There was no embarrassment for trying to give us a $2900 product that was clearly damaged. We were disappointed in the lack of concern but they promised the new one will arrive by July 2, the day visitors would arrive at our home and we looked forward to using this awesome machine. We received email confirmations that the shipment will arrive on July 2, and we showed up on July 2, to find it had not arrived. Again, no apology or embarrassment for wasting our time and giving inaccurate information. They said they would call us when it arrived. We received another email confirmation that it would arrive on July 4. We patiently waited and did not receive a phone call. So we called to see if it had arrived, and we were reprimanded with a condescending tone that they would call us. We then received another email confirmation that it would arrive on July 6. You guessed it... No phone call, and it did not arrive. We tried to cancel the order on July 8, but they said we couldn't cancel the order until it arrived. We were concerned that delivery was taking so long, we would receive a bill on the credit card, before it arrived, much less take possession of it. Finally on July 11, after multiple phone calls, and being very patient and kind toward all this incompetence, they finally canceled the order - even though it still had not arrived. Not one time during this whole experience and throughout all the interactions did anyone apologize or show any kind of embarrassment. It's stunning. We ended up going to bed Bath and Beyond to purchase it, got the same 20% discount, and we love our Breville. I will never buy anything from William Sonoma again.

So I looked online, and Floor & Decor had exactly what I wanted, on clearance! Woohoo! This is a GIGANTIC store. It seems to have literally EVERYTHING flooring that your heart could desire. I was enchanted by some of the tile. But I don't NEED any tile, so sadly passed it up. They have tile that looks like wood! And marble! I needed waterproof vinyl plank flooring to go over concrete, as apparently peel-and-stick requires a plywood base and is therefore more effort. The waterproof stuff is just click-and-lock, and can be cut with an X-acto knife. You can use 6-mil poly as a vapor barrier. This is for a small outbuilding, so 7 boxes should be sufficient. A very nice young man loaded the boxes onto a cart, and then put them into my car for me! Their prices seem very fair, although I just zeroed in on what I needed and didn't have time to fully explore the store. The tile selection seems vast. Best part: they're well-stocked, at least with what I bought. I'm fully confident that if I need another box, they'll have it in stock.

Another staff member brought out my orders, loaded them into my car for me. They even checked with me to see if my car could handle the weight of both orders at once! She was smart, welcoming and knowledgeable - she led me directly to the sofa I came in to see, and explained about different fabric options, including custom. She was able to very quickly look up which fabrics could or could not go on the sectional I am interested in. When one of the colors wasn't available, she found an almost identical shade of olive green and gave me the swatch to take home, in addition to 3 others I had asked for. Emma was able to tell me about the financing options available to me, which is an important consideration for this purchase. Another store associate, Meredith Luttrell, checked in with me as I was analyzing the dimensions chart for the Aris sofa, which was perfect timing, because I needed to know if the longer side could be ordered to be on the left rather than the right - because otherwise, it won't fit in my space. (It can.) She was friendly and knew all about the different options available. The store was impeccably clean, and staged beautifully. Both associates let me wander and peruse at my own pace; there was zero pushiness or pressure to buy right away. I always take time to "let things marinate" when I make a large purchase, and I appreciated that they gave me the option to take home swatches and "see how they look in your home." I appreciate you both and look forward to working with you soon!

One had previous sent me a supposedly new item that clearly wasn't with accompanying sketchy information, so they were a hard no. The second had an error on their site so actually didn't have it. That left Chef's Corner. Took a bit for me to pull the trigger but their well organized site and fantastic Yelp reviews convinced me, along with a generous first purchase discount. I have to applaud them for being prompt to respond to inquiries, and their willingness to address a shipping challenge was truly a blessing. I bundled several items and everything arrived sooner than expected and in flawless condition. When I was setting up my table it caused me to look harder at a piece I recently ordered direct from Le Creuset and I discovered a flaw, (already proving a hassle to rectify that) so going forward I would absolutely order from Chefs Corner instead of direct from manufacturer. This company is unparalleled in a lot of respects in comparison to a lot of others selling the only brand of cookware I have interest in-Le Creuset. Well worth trusting in and shopping with them via their beautiful site. Big time kudos!

We went with Kitchens on Broadway after receiving a glowing recommendation from neighbors who had a great experience. Unfortunately, we later discovered that the designer they worked with had left the company, along with several other senior designers. We skipped doing our own homework and ended up regretting it. We paid a $1,200 design fee, and after six months--only after we had repeatedly asked for our money back--we finally received renderings and a layout that essentially copied a design we had already created ourselves using free online software and had provided to them three months earlier, so this was incredibly disappointing. Since then, we've done our own research and found several other reputable kitchen and bath designers in the Denver area who offer an initial design, budget estimate, and timeline before requiring any payment. Often being able to provide an initial design within 2 weeks. That level of transparency and professionalism made us realize how far off our experience here was. I strongly recommend doing your due diligence as there are better options out there.
