Agave blue 8 qt Dutch oven

We were try to spend less out on meals and coffee. We decided to get our own espresso machine. Our daughter was a Bautista in college and said you need a brevell pro. So off we go to William Sonoma to look at them. Of course it liked the big shiny one with all the bells and whistles. This was right before Christmas so we wanted to think on it. David was the first to help us and he knew his espresso machines so well. We decided to go with the Oracle $2700 this thing and it's amazing! And by all calculations it will pay for its self in 9 months. Don't judge me. We were back in this evening for a la crucet tea pot. And David he was great even though he was busy. We love the service and the selection.

Here is my new dutch oven browning a pork shoulder roast. It is an awesome tool. I love it.

Here's how shopping goes at Williams and Sonoma for this thinks-she-can-cook girl. Catalog from WS arrives in mail. Hubby hides catalog. Girl finds catalog and is later found in corner, drooling, fliipping pages rapidly, with blinking eye, heart rate up. Hubby ponders taking girl to ER. Last year, it was a nonstick wok pan with a coating that wouldn't kill me. He got me a gift card for it, and it's now in my cabinet. I've used it ... maybe twice. But I love it, really I do.I love it. I've made stir fries in in and paella. When we went in the store they were super nice helping me figure out which nonstick thing I really wanted. ( Orginally I thought it was the frying pan, but I was wrong). This year, it was the photo of the Staub dutch oven... bright green in the photo, oval, with some kind of delectable meat and wine concoction inside with a recipe next to it. And the photo of the Le Creuset "Dutch" oven, burgundy in the catalog pic, deep, with yet another falling apart meat item in it. Some kind of chicken thing. Williams Sonoma people are so crafty like that, sending out glossy food porn photos of meat I can't get in a Beaverton restaurant. They know my shallow pyrex baking dishes aren't gonna cut it. I now an the proud owner of a dark red one of those Staub thingies, and a purple ( eggplant colored really) one of the other thingies, but shallower. Hubby explored them in the store, figured out what to get with the people's help and then they had them shipped to our house, whereupon they arrived on Christmas Eve. They cost hubby a lot of money. (Although, of note, they have "special editions" of both kinds of pots that only they carry, and they were quite on sale from their usual sticker shocking price. ) Santa didn't put ME on the naughty list this year. When I opened the boxes, I hugged them. No, really, I clutched that Aubergine dutch oven to my heart like a newborn. Mine. I made a roasted pork shoulder in it over the weekend, and then from that pork and vegetables over polenta, and then pulled BBQ pork sliders. Right now there's chicken cacciatore simmering in the Staub pot. Yes, they are expensive. If I treat them right ( and I'm going too,my pretties) they will last until my daughter inherits them. She's going to have to yank them away from me ( I will clutch them harder than car keys)... I imagine I will be about 80 by then... they're so sweet. I know William Sonoma has lots of things you don't need, but if you want really nice cooking tools, and are willing to invest in a couple good pieces ( after a lot of pondering and drooling and in my case, hubby waiting patiently for me to make a not insane decision)... it's a good place to do it. P.S. If you think Hubby was being too extravagant for me, don't even get me started on the All Clad double boiler he decided he had to have last year to make custard for ice cream... it cost so much they threw in a gift card ( which is how I got my stir fry pan, amen).

Triple Old Fashion glass. Perfect size for those huge cubes of ice you've had since Christmas.

Filled with every imaginable item - small appliances, bakeware, dishes, wine glasses, kitchen tools, pitchers, vases, thermometers, muffin, tart and cake pans and so much more! Typically I shop at NE location but when I'm in the area, I stop in the Beaverton store. It has a large rectangular footprint making it super easy to navigate and find what you need or browse to discover items that you must have! The store is usually well stocked but due to pandemic, the inventory is on the sparse side. They had a large table and corner area with a 50% off sale going on. I'll be back in a few weeks as I'm hoping their summer outdoor dinnerware will go on sale. The light weight, colorful Melamine plates are perfect for outdoor dining. The last time I visited, the service was so slow. Unbearably slow. The woman wrapping my two dishes took painfully long. It was also the very first time I entered and was not greeted or asked if I needed assistance. Typically this doesn't bother me but this day I was in a hurry, did have a particular item I came to buy, but couldn't find assistance. There were several people working and were engaged in their own conversation. slow! One experience doesn't define a store so I'll be back when in the area. I love to cook, bake and entertain so Kitchen Kaboodle speaks to me.

This wasn't a pre-fab or generic solution, it feels custom and well thought out. The installation was clean and professional. Posts are perfectly set, the structure is solid, and the attention to detail really shows. Everything feels sturdy, intentional, and built to last. This pergola completely transformed our outdoor space and turned an unused area into a functional and inviting gathering spot. Communication was easy throughout the project, and it's clear Martin takes pride in his work. Highly recommend TGR and would absolutely use them again for future projects.

This is a mixed review since there is good and bad to mention. I contracted with this company to…read morereplace my siding and double decks. This wasn't the lowest priced bid, yet it also wasn't the outrageously high quotes I received from other companies. I was very excited to finally get this work done. At the same time I was working with TGR, I was also contracted with a roofing company, a painter, and a gate company. In the end, the only company I had problems with was TGR Construction Co. There are things I wasn't prepared for in this process, such as my pictures falling off the walls during the siding tear off or the cracks in the ceiling and walls created with the tear off, of which they tried to tell me all these NEW cracks (I live in this home) are due to normal settling of my home and said all houses settle with time and this is normal and not due to the siding job. I know it's not a coincidence these new and sudden 'settling' cracks appeared with the siding work. They broke through the ceiling upstairs and they did own up to this, maybe because it's hard to justify 'normal' settling with sudden stucco all over the floor. There were structural issues that arose during the project, at nobody's fault, that ended up costing me $11K more than my contract. Then I was also charged $4900 more to remove windows and have them reset. Btw, three other companies included the window removal and reset in their contract. It was considered standard for other companies. After the siding and decks were done, I was left with HVAC refrigerant lines on the ground and blocking doors and windows for my tenants, wires dangling under the deck staircase, the Radon remediation system wasn't reattached correctly and sparked scaring a HVAC technician and me, a deck rail was reset too low, refrigerant line covers were accidentally thrown out, and my daughter and I each did double sweeps for nails left behind when work was done. It took almost two months of asking for them to resolve these unresolved issues before some things were finally done. Jan 20th, three months after the crew left, I finally had the last unresolved issue handled. As a consumer, when I contract with a company, I expect to have the job done right without unnecessary stress. That did not happen here. On the POSITIVE, the crew is hardworking and really nice guys. The siding and double decks look great now. My home underwent a metamorphosis and is now beautiful and I receive compliments. I had crappy, rotting decks replaced with sturdy decks. This is the only reason I give a 2 rating instead of lower. All the mishaps, repair delays, and stood up appointments made this extremely frustrating and stressful. Could I have achieved my desired results without the frustration? I'm sure I could have with a different company. Buyer beware! Educate yourself on all steps that need to be in your contract. Make sure the removal of your windows for proper flashing is in the contract. I know A LOT of people and all my other contractors received more jobs through my recommendations. I know currently four people who are looking for a recommendation for siding, yet I can't recommend TGR Construction.

My aussie got her first heat cycle at 8 months and I was told she was allowed back in a few weeks once her cycle was complete. She was attending day care and training sessions a couple times a week. Unfortunately, I had some other personal matters come up and will be moving so I asked for a refund. They will not offer a refund on services and offered store credit instead. Okay, fine. I scheduled a weekend boarding to use up my remaining credit and I get a text this morning asking if my dog was spayed, if not she was not allowed to return. I understand the need for the policy but I was never made aware and was told previously by a staff member it was not necessary. I am not in a position to get her spayed right now, plus I am moving states next month. They still refuse to offer a refund of nearly $300. That is a good chunk of money that apparently they intend to keep. Doesn't matter that store credit never expires, I will not be able to use it. They made a mistake with lack of employee knowledge on policies and refuse to right their mistake and now stealing my money. This is wrong. I was emailing the owner back and forth and I am disappointed with their handling of this situation. I had my dog groomed and bathed on 2 separate occasions and she came back with mats and not dried properly. Some staff members were very standoffish and unwelcoming at drop off. There is no access to cameras and I was denied access to the facility to see where my precious pup would be. I do not recommend this facility.
