Went to my local mechanic and he said they were not being honest! since the owner wants to attack me, I was at this shop once before and it was a positive interaction however they said they cleared all my check, engine, lights and warning lights! Once I drove around for a few days, those lights all came back on and I purchased a scanner to figure out what was going on. Turns out that they could've easily figured out that all I needed was a Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid . So after two visits to the shop, not only did they not diagnose it, but it causes me to fail my inspection so then I had to purchase a reader and then fixed it myself! and they said that my warning lights for my headlights and my tail lights were short! So I bought headlights myself and put them in and the tail light was an easy fix, but they couldn't figure this out either! This shop is a farce. Don't trust them whatsoever the owners arguing with me over their failure to actually do a good job for their customers! This car runs great and I take care of it and have every maintenance done that I can as it's driven all across the country for over 107,000 miles so for you to question my upkeep of it is offensive!!!

I…read morecalled to clarify and I asked them to repair a flat tire but not replace the tire pressure monitor. They didn't even fix the flat tire and refused to when I picked the car up. They said I needed a new TIPM. When I called two days later (before leaving work to pick the car up) they said I didn't need a new TIPM but a new a/c actuator and the car would be ready in a few days. The cost decreased but the car would not start the next day after picking it up. They rewired something so that the fuel pump was on constantly. Also, the problems that led me to get the car worked on originally were still there. Charleston Auto Electric told me that I had leaking valve cover gaskets and intake gaskets. They are not leaking and another garage confirmed this. I paid over $500 for Charleston Auto Electric to fix nothing, cause more problems, and yell at me in the lobby when I pointed out that they had communication problems and that my flat tire was not repaired. I had another location scan the Tire Pressure Monitor that Charleston Auto Electric said was not working. It works perfectly Another garage fixed all of this locations' errors, and they did it for less. If the owner reads this, please contact me. I would love to fill you in on what is happening in this location.

Kelly was incredibly kind and communicative, and they took my car in and got it back to much better shape for almost half the price MINI was trying to quote me. Its hard as a woman dealing with mechanics and being taken advantage of and I now will only be taking my car here from now on. They told me it would be ready by the time they closed at 6:30p however when I arrived around 6:15p they still needed to charge the system (which takes at least an hour). Unlike most places that would have told me to return the next day, the owner and two technicians remained until the job was finished. Since I live over an hour away this really meant a lot to me.
