Receptionist is RUDE! If you can't be patient enough to get a new patients insurance information, then get another job.

Dr. Diba redid my filling and said that all went well, however that my filling in the next tooth would also need to be redone imminently. As I was already numbed, we agreed she could do it then. I have had plenty of fillings before, but I have never had my head jerked around, sharp pain, and so much uncertaintly during an appointment. It ended with her letting me know that she drilled so much tooth that I would probably need a root canal. The office manager texted me the next day with several apologies, probably because the staff had noticed what a disaster it was. This was a dentist they were "trying out." I wish I'd been informed as much, and that a regular dentist had also been present. I haven't chewed with the left side of my mouth since, and rely on ibuprofen and tylenol for the pain. iSmile ignored my last scheduling text, and while was told that the owner was going to call me, but never did. They were paid well from both me and my insurance, the dentist was paid, and yet I have to undergo a root canal elsewhere. Obviously I've booked in with my previous dentist that is trustworthy.

"Dr" Thomas Verdoni is never in the office, occasionally he's seen outside smoking. New employees do all the work. Worst dentist office in Brooklyn. I've only come here because it's walking distance from me. Just left an appt for fillings, after an hour and a half wait, I hear "Dr" Verdoni yelling at one of his employees, looking disheveled like he just woke up from a 2 day bender, "I'm not doing it! You aren't paying me extra to do any more work today so why should I ?" In regards to doing my fillings, then storms out of the office. Like really? In front of patients? Told he went home for the day, after making me wait all afternoon. So a different lady does the fillings. Really don't trust her work as the entire time she kept calling for help and no one seemed to know what she needed when she requested tools. I will never go to that joke of a dentist again. They need to be shut down.

I'm just sad I like the place and everybody it's very nice, and all the time I was there the boss was always taking care of me and doing always a grate job....this is how I left after 15min cleaning and $220 dollar less on my pocket.

From calling the office to schedule emergency repair to end of procedure it was only three hours. The procedure was only about 40 mins. Though their equipment is antiquated, Dr. Carpenter and her assistant Ursula more than made up for it in skill and teamwork. I will be flying out to NYC to see her for future procedures.

I started to see another dentist there, and then they also left. Being that I was so anxious about the dentist I stopped going entirely for a time. Finally I made an appointment. I told the person making the appointment about this history because I wasn't sure which dentist to book with. I wound up booking with the dentist who the secretary told me was also a gum specialist, because I just figured this person might be the most qualified there. I made the appointment a month out. I get there and after a brief conversation, the dental assistant is incredibly rude. There seemed to be some confusion for her over what was scheduled. She said I did not have a cleaning scheduled. She was noteably annoyed trying to explain to me that the periodontist doesn't do cleanings, which I already understood. I'm still not clear why she was getting so frustrated but I found it to be a really rude and impatient response in general, but especially to someone who she already knew had high anxiety around being at the dentist. She put her hand up and closed her eyes in annoyance, and told me she was going to get someone else to talk to explain things to me. When she left I decided I was not going to continue the appointment with this kind of person and I got up to put on my coat. As I was doing that I heard her in the other room say, "please teach her." Which, made it clear I was done with this office. If there was any problem that this woman should have been upset with, it's internally. Speak to the person who made the appointment. Maybe they were confused. I was direct when I told them I hadn't been in a while and I needed a cleaning and an exam. Standard. Don't take your frustrations out on the patient. So rude, so unnecessary.
