We were still fine pulling in with a 40 foot motorhome. They had a pull through spot and the grounds are nice and NOT packed together like so many we've stay at! The sites are big and would be fine if you were towing a car. Bob and his wife are very nice. She waited up late to check us in. This is close to Klamath Falls and on the way to Crater Lake. The price was the best around. Things to know about Walts: They only have 15 amp service They can fit a 45' class A If you're pulling a car they have pull through sites (it only looks tight when you turn in) They don't have wifi (not sure about cable) We really did enjoy it. We only stayed one night but will be back many times.

I'm giving 2 stars because the pictures and reviews seem great, but the brushed off manner she talked to me and the fact that she hung up on me doesn't make me want to give her any of my business.

Cons: NO cable. I realize a lot of people have on board satellite. However some of us for a one night stay don't want to go thru the hassle of set up. We have Starlink, setup was great. It is next to Hwy 97 at time noisy with traffic and Jake brakes. Trains, lots of them, but never heard them at night. Overall an enjoyable week. Would book again when we come thru Klamath Falls.

You can see how lumber is made, and imagine how the machines and equipment helped to build homes and industry in America. Not only are most of the machines and tools very accessible to explore, the commentary is very helpful and well organized. A second major feature, are several log cabins and "accessory" buildings that are also very accessible, and open to wandering around. On the Sunday we were there, there was a couple who showed our grandkids how life might have been in the 19th century. Very nice touch. My partner could see similarities with her own grandparents' experience (washing, the cooking and stove, the construction). Even the gift store had very well curated things to by that were reflective of the life and times represented by the museum and the state park. An additional bonus, was a walk down to a beautiful river with clear water! I could come again and again!

Bathrooms have single, lockable showers. It's dry, hot, and hard for the kids to play. The loop is narrow and one way which makes traffic a little tricky at times and not good for kids riding bikes in my opinion. They can't play around the camp spot because of the thistle without long pants and boots. We had the lake to ourselves this morning which was nice. We kayaked, didn't swim. The water slides are open Monday, Thursday, Fri-Sun, June-Sept. Pay for it. It's well worth it. The line moves quick and the kids had a great time. The snack bar has treats. Heads up, cash only. Great playground too when it's not in the 90°s.
